    @robynbryant33 the best bit about the shared line farce was i had adsl <early adopter>, it continued to function perfectly throughout the whole process. even when telstra insisted the line had ceased to exist and in fact had never existed, again.

    @andrewbogut @Telstra Been there done that. When I moved here it took me 8 weeks to sort out all my Telstra issues, and I already had all the infrastructure pre-installed.

    @robynbryant33 nearly forgot the other surreal bit. when i tried to report the "not my flat" fault. telstra told me i was not allowed to due to not being the account holder on the line i was calling from <the one in my home> and that my home had never had a phone line.

    @Telstra I'm trying to lodge that now, but I am busy trying to do my job as well. The SES report that the coverage went down at 3 am this morning.

    Imagine trying to get a new phone from Telstra and they say they're "booked out" but I can't make an appointment. ********? Phone is ******- half the screen is black and has a permanent strobe light

    @andrewbogut @Telstra I'm on the verge of closing my account after being with them for decades. 3 days, 7 customer service agents and a complaint to the ombudsman and I'm no closer to resolving my problem 🤬
