    @Telstra Conserving my @Optus mobile data now. They could learn from this exchange also. Haven’t checked lately, but for many years their tower outage checker pages has many issues. Telstra provided with details, but refusing to act without Account info despite multiple accts affected.

    More than 14h later, @Telstra’s Outages page still has not confirmed any ADSL ‘interruption’. Neither ‘support chat’ conversation even confirmed they had logged the details I provided.

    @Telstra heaps of Telstra customers in Inverell 2360 are having trouble with their NBN service the last few days but Telstra Outages pages says no known outages

    I’m feeling a bit tenacious about this. Can Telstra really force an existing customer to commit to direct debit? Can I accept all parts of a contract except for that? Legally?

    @Telstra Hi Emily, for 2 evenings, 1 morning & now this morning too we have been having v.slow unusable internet. Neighbour too. We have rebooted all, blackbox reboot helped temp. Now not. SmartModem mobile mode better but not fast. Speedtest says ok, although uploads v.low.

    @Telstra I did. All I got as a response was "it has to be reschsduled". I only received the confirmation yesterday afternoon and had no contact from technician at all. As usual zero service from. @NBN_Australia

    @Telstra It was working before 11am. It was not working after 6pm. I don’t know when in between it stopped. DSL connection is up, but it is not issuing IP addresses. I’ll given you exchange details in non-public forum.

    @iMarkPhillips @Optus @Telstra Actually the only way for Telstra to fix my broken internet service was to sell me a new plan

    My favourite thing about tonight is having our ADSL and phone line go dead again - because it rained. Seems to happen after intense rain and took 24 days for Telstra to fix last time.
