@macsween_prue @Telstra Agreed Telstra is the worst and most hated company in Australia. Unfortunately if we travel (or used to) we are stuck with it. I truly hate that they do not employ Australians in their call centres.

@owgreally @MSMWatchdog2013 If you have shares then Telstra or whoever will have to pay dividends if franking credits are removed. The companies can't NOT pay their share holders. The whole industry from the New York Stock Exchange down would crash and mattress sales would increase.

@Telstra Logged back in to the my Telstra app, Currently have an "Expert" helping me. Mainly put it on Twitter here as the service I've received recently from @Telstra has been abysmally poor. You don't deserve business with this treatment and behaviour.

Seriously @Telstra pls add some mobile data capacity in Nth Fitzroy. I live right near Edi Gardens and when it is packed with Covid lockdown picnics on sunny days like today, I can’t get any reliable service for data. The network is congested with hipsters using their phones…

So anyone got tips on how to resolve an intermittent issue receiving SMS on my @Telstra service? For two weeks now any text sent either never arrives, or is held up for many hours. If I reset my phone network settings it seems to work for a little bit afterwards then reverts.

@Telstra Yeah I've been doing that for two weeks now, feels pointless to keep following up that way since I keep getting told someone will call me then they never do. Any other ways I can escalate this so someone actually looks at it?

In summary, options from @telstra are: 1) pay more 2) unnecessary credit check to pay less 3) escalate as a complaint because apparently no manager is present in the call centre on a Saturday to deal with questions that the script can’t answer

@Telstra I’ve been talking to him for two hours. He was impossible, ignoring my actual issue and told to wait 24 hours. I HAVE ALREADY WAITED 24 HOURS FFS!!!!!!! He has completely wasted my morning.

Feels kind of pointless talking yet again to a polite but unempowered L1 support person. I don't want to go to another network because I spent a fair bit of time in remote areas that only Telstra have coverage in. But may need to resort to having two services :-(

@jd_3o3 @R_Chirgwin @Telstra I had a similar issue. I upgraded to the latest IOS. Had something to do with the phone connecting to WiFi apparently.
