    🚨 Telstra, TPG telecom clash with Musk’s SpaceX over Starlink spectrum guarantee Australian telecom giants Telstra and TPG Telecom are urging the government to hold competitive auctions for satellite-mobile frequencies instead of granting SpaceX guaranteed priority access for Starlink’s Direct-to-Cell service. They warn that such guarantees risk market concentration and could lead to higher consumer prices.     @boomerangmadi @metrotrains Cellular DAS for Telstra, Optus and Vodafone to provide cellular on all 3, it also hosts the train signalling GSM-R 1800 network too.

    @sydney_ev Telstra has been using batteries & solar on their relay stations for years. - they fail when overcast for 3 days. Farmers complain that they charge their Li-ion batteries and 3 months later when they need to use them, they have discharged. Just life

    @accent_trace @ktdenise I think I had a minor mental glitch I did the calc using 24 months out of habbit, so yeah it’s more like only 500 a year cheaper, still hard to find an actual benefit to Optus/Telstra’s over priced plans. 10 years ago, you’d get an iPhone and service for $40 a month.

    @FinancialReview Get an Optus contract so galore might just win mine was just Telstra we have asked about hem to stop can go do Optus to help sort it out and give the business to Singapore we can’t afford this we still have our id and birth certificate

    @Telstra Not at home right now, but I’ve tried it in the past to no success when speeds are poor. I use to get 5 bars of 4g when the old tower was over the road. Now it’s 1 bar or either 4g or 5g after the “upgrades”

    Cya Telstra you've increased the price for the second time in <12mths, aren't willing to even discuss it beyond "it is what it is, we're the best" (paraphrasing). So @Telstra's lack of client retention attempts has lost me as a customer. I'm paying out and moving on.
