@Telstra This should not be an issue, either you have overcommitted in products, both to existing and potential customers and your customer onboarding process is out of date or there’s an error with communication

  • LouiseR27845272 Lou (@LouiseR27845272) reported

@Telstra oh and you can’t email him the requirements either, even though it was an email to cancel the order and provide a number to call. You know @Optus does everything over the phone and/or email right? What’s going on? Great way to lose customers.

  • ianbfarquhar Ian Farquhar (@ianbfarquhar) reported

@Trixie_Boo Starlink. I don’t see 5G as a viable solution for metro fixed Internet, and it’s certainly nothing like economically viable at the moment for serious use. I might maintain a VDSL service while Starlink remains in beta, just as a backup, but not Telstra’s overpriced one.

@icathler @Wolfie_Rankin @JBHiFi I don't have one. I have a phone that does. A Pixel 3a is a Google designed phone. It has the ability to ID incoming spam calls and SMS. That's the solution. Perhaps Telstra could talk to Google?

  • numloxx Carsten Bauer (@numloxx) reported

@Telstra No, nobody has contacted me. And it's not a phone issue, it's a tower capacity issue that Telstra needs to fix.

  • icathler 🍀Icathler🍀 (Allan)🖖🇮🇪🇭🇲🇵🇬 (@icathler) reported

@OdinsToenail @Wolfie_Rankin @JBHiFi Well maybe you should spend hours on the phone explaining that to telstra. They can't do it atm apparently. If you have a solution, please please please tell them, so we can all stop getting them.

  • beagle58663024 beagle (@beagle58663024) reported

@Telstra I have spoken to the help reps on 132200 many times. They have not resolved the issue of random reboots. They see it as dropouts. But the modem is doing a full reboot

  • CommandrGumball CommanderGumball (@CommandrGumball) reported

@Telstra HELP! Someone signed up with my email address and I can't call you (From Canada)

  • LouiseR27845272 Lou (@LouiseR27845272) reported

@Telstra You’re competitors do it over the phone. So you’re telling me you haven’t taken on any new customers during locked down locations? Hardly true.
