Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales@Telstra @NBN_Australia Thankgod for a switched on technician ... my wifi issue was the result of my modem disabling the wifi functionality during a firmware upgrade and had you bothered to run a diagnostic @Telstra could have confirmed this 12 days ago - 👏 ineptitude #bravo
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South WalesMaking a complaint directly to @Telstra has as much utility as a doorbell on a coffin ... my case manager didn’t do anything and didn’t tell me anything I already didn’t know & condoned a 17 day wait for a technician visit ... your thoughts @rayhadley2gb?
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales@NBN_Australia @NBN_Australia Hi Matt ... thanks for your response ... very much appreciated & so much more than I have received from @Telstra ... no outage after using your link ... 12 days of no NBN, landline & wifi ... I’ve spent 20+ hours on the phone with Telstra
-
gazza (@biggazza77) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales@Telstra hey guys you really need to look at your customer service because I just upgraded to a pixel 3 went into the Telstra shop and asked for help moving data from old phone to new and was told it costs $30 what kind of service is that to customers #badcustomerservice !!!!!!
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South WalesPS @Telstra I will hold you accountable for ANY promises made me ... and also hold you accountable to transparency by posting any broken promises you make to me by ensuring the public at large know what you are capable of and what you are willing to do to the general public

Zaphod Beeblebrox (@Zaphod_BBX) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales@MeckeringBoy @LeanneH56251190 I'm on a 50Mbps plan as well and get 47-48. Have no issues with streaming Netflix or catch up TV at all. I did get a new modem when I went to provider. I went with Aussie Broadband bcs I was sick of Telstra BS. They've been great upfront, honest and ready to fight NBNCo.
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South WalesI have to say @Telstra I smell bollocks when your Conplaints Department confirm the planned outage has been resolved and organise a technician to investigate your NBN service but 4 hours later another Department calls you to advise your wifi functionality will be fixed by 5pm
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales@Telstra It is simply not good enough and unreasonable for an internet service provider to fail to advise customers of a planned 2 week internet outage ... especially when that customer relies on that service to work from home, do University study and connect multiple devices
-
HappyHammer (@HappyHammer69) reported from Port Macquarie, New South WalesJust moved house, been unhappy with Telstra for a while so switched to @Aussie_BB because service supposed to be good! Need a @NBN_Australia tech to connect us, he says not very busy atm @Aussie_BB say it will take a week! #nocommunication #badservice
-
Rob Duffy (@seadoomad) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales@Telstra rang 18 times to cancel my foxtel and keep hanging up on me your a fking joke @ScottMorrisonMP I know your busy but Telstra need a kick up the arse will go to @Optus now maybe more help
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South WalesAfter reporting the unreasonableness of a 10 day outage to my wifi functionality to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman, your Complaints Officer assigned has been as useful as a doorbell on a coffin ... fails to return calls and out of office so far @Telstra
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales@NBN_Australia Even though @Telstra confirmed at 11am yesterday the outage was resolved and a technician needed to be organised ... at 3pm yesterday I get a call from an entirely different department of Telstra saying my wifi service would resume at 5pm yesterday = bollocks
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South WalesAfter 10 days of a planned outage, you only NOW consider and investigate a potential modem issue ... something my complaint raised 7 days ago ... I think each & every employee of your service should have to go what I’ve been through and see how you feel at the end of it @Telstra
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South WalesBravo @Telstra After 2.5 hours dealing with 3 customer service reps with no appreciation of customer service who asked me the exact same questions 3 times, you have given me no option but to take this to the Ombudsman ... bravo again 👏
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales@Telstra How on earth do you suggest I resolve my problem when your app won’t run a diagnostic or tells me the NBN diagnostic failed and you are prohibiting telephone call contact due to COVID 19 ... how do I study or work??????????
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales@Telstra Some feedback for you - not only was the Complaints Officer you allocated on 2 March redundant and as useful as a doorbell on a coffin in resolving my wifi functionality issue ... he then tried to rewrite history by stating we had spoken before today which was UNTRUE
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South WalesThe earliest @Telstra allege they can get a technician to inspect my NBN fault is 17 days after the issue began ... @rayhadley2gb - interested in hearing more about how this ISP has treated a customer of 15 years ? No NBN, wifi, landline for 17 days
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales@Telstra I feel like I am in a Monty Python skit ... after an ongoing TEN DAY NBN outage until 9pm last night, you assured me the outage was fixed ... between 11am & 4pm today there was yet another outage WITHOUT ANY PRIOR NOTIFICATION BY YOU OF SUCH OUTAGE
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales@Telstra I fail to see the humour in a now 28 hour old NBN outage that has meant I have spent the best part of 2.5 hours in the Telstra app chatting with 3 separate customer service reps asking the exact same questions and still no further along with answers
-
Her Irishness (@Ballyanamcara) reported from Port Macquarie, New South Wales@Telstra ALSO disappointing and underwhelming that my complaints officer fails to return your call of yesterday and just “happens” to be on a rest day today when they advise they work Monday-Friday ... no other Officer is available today to help me

-
Abul Rizvi (@RizviAbul) reported@michaeljames947 Telstra is an 800lb gorilla. It was never going to be possible to keep them behaving properly. That was the case from day 1 when the govt & Telstra were at legal loggerheads. Then they took govt to the cleaners over the NBN saga.
-
Ded Putin (@TheWoof_Grrr) reported@L_AWalker Why dont you see the Telstra outage ages a failure of governance?
-
Jillberry Sunshine (@jillian_twigger) reported@daytona7th @tim_blee Lol yes good thinking, and we keep a ‘burner sim’ at our food truck in case Telstra goes down, but then sometimes it’s the actual till system that goes down ie ‘Square’ and then it’s ’offline payments’ which doesn’t work for tapping with phones anyway
-
🪩❤️🔥🧡 (melbourne n3) (@antihero180224) reportedbrutal mercury retrograde. so far: 2x appliances in my family broke, random logins not working, telstra outage, trains not running, got served raw chicken
-
David Taylor (@DaveTaylorNews) reportedSurely if there are no deaths from the Telstra outage it’s just luck. The issue is the ability to call emergency services, not whether that led to a fatality.
-
chromed_ego (@chromed_ego) reported@ausgov now you can blame India for Telstra outage
-
Peter Roberts (@PeterTRoberts) reported@deniseshrivell I think you will find only one party privatised Telstra...but by all means treat both parties as the same.
-
Nikki J Lawson😷🌹#IStandWithAlboPM💯 (@Commoncents21) reportedUpdate on the elderly lady’s death in SA not related to the Telstra outage. Police update. 👇 It’s time for the Coalition to sanction Kerrynne Liddle. She must tender her resignation effective immediately. She jumped on social media for a gotcha without all the facts. Shameful.
-
WestInsufficientia (@WInsufficientia) reportedTelstra is a PRIVATE CORPORATION not a govt institutuon. LNP with Hanson (Ind) in 1997.. partial sale & 2006 with PHON support.. FULL sale! That’s why it’s NOT a good idea to PRIVATISE VITAL INDUSTRIES (communications banks etc)! Labor STILL dealing with/fixing LNP/PHON MESS!
-
Powell's Other Glasses (Ausnotes) 🌸 (@ausnotes) reported@88888sAccount Best to wait till Telstra or the NBN is down again and then really rub it in the face.
