  • Tony_Sycamore TECHFX TRADERS (@Tony_Sycamore) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Hi Angela, the download speed of my broadband has been sloth like in recent days. I’ve rebooted the modem and now I can’t connect at all. Please help.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra To start with, when a customer has id’d themselves to the agent, don’t get the agent to then later ask for name/phone/email. Don’t you have a CRM there?

  • AKRacingAus AKRacing 🇦🇺 (@AKRacingAus) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

    @The_JFD @Telstra Such poor form

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Someone has answered the messages to the account you suggest and created a complaint that was not my complaint. At no point was I given a form to complete to detail my complaint in my own words. Once again. I wish to lodge a complaint, and in my own words.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@DDsD @Telstra Even as you reward me @Telstra , after my complaints of reduced signal strength and reduced connectivity & patchy connectivity I will continue to tell all my connections that a complaint will result in credit to accounts. Give us what we’ve paid for and we won’t have to complain.

  • AKRacingAus AKRacing 🇦🇺 (@AKRacingAus) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

We are absolutely appalled with the service provided from the @Telstra business systems team. We’ve been charged for 9 months for a service we swapped over in dec 2019. 😞 We’ve been fed misinformation and promises that have not been kept! How can this be?

  • grouponegav Gavin Ryan 🇦🇺 (@grouponegav) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Cmon @Telstra my @NBN_Australia is still down yet both your websites say there’s no outage. It went down at 9:45pm last night. Fix it please

  • exploreeats99 Anthony Pham (@exploreeats99) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Hey Telstra, I have issues with the NBN service that NBNco has told Telstra that it would be resolved by Friday. It’s Monday and I’m still not connected to the internet.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Hey @Telstra how many time are you going to give me a different agent to ask me if I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it? even after this case has very effectively concluded the issue exists in the browser as well and not just in the app.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@DDsD @Telstra It wasn’t terrible for a week or two but after I complained, and got a wedge of credit on my account, the signal has become 💩 again and the site no longer claims issues. Looks like I’ll have to get back on messages in the Telstra app again. But no. That’s not working either. :-(

  • grouponegav Gavin Ryan 🇦🇺 (@grouponegav) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra can you please sort out my nbn issue. It’s been out since yesterday. I’ve tried contacting you via your text message service, nobody responds. Pretty ordinary

  • tamsinbirch Tamsin Birch (@tamsinbirch) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@FourRedShoes @Telstra Stay the hell away from Vodafone because the concept of travel, time zones and moving country appears to be beyond them. It took us six months to convince them we no longer lived in UK (therefore they could stop billing us) and we’ve had problems travelling too. Optus seem ok.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@jmspool I complained to @Telstra about being put back into SMS marketing list after removing myself twice in the past 6 years. I negotiated two months’ credit for that specific customer disrespect. They now know much of what I think of them, without using a post-support survey.

  • CeagleChris Chris (@CeagleChris) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra @newscomauHQ The jobs should never have been outsourced anyway. If you want people in your call centres that can't speak English there are plenty here that probably don't have jobs. Jobs for Australians not India, Malaysia, Phillipines. Support local economy

  • tamsinbirch Tamsin Birch (@tamsinbirch) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@FourRedShoes @Telstra I walked into a Vodafone store in Sydney with hopes of them being able to transfer my account and/or sort out my data roaming problems from my UK account and was literally met with “LOL, we get people in here all the time asking that. We’re like a totally separate company.” 🙄

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I read that as an assistant who helps with digital matters. i.e.: app not working. If someone asks a digital assistant if they are a bot what do you suggest they do with that question? I posit that ignoring a question is a poor response.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@DDsD @Telstra Now. Suddenly. I’m at 4 bars signal strength. Almost as if complaining made it happen. 🤔

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Now the support person who I am in a conversation with in the Telstra app, and to whom I have ID’d myself for security, is asking me my name, phone, email address. 🙄 and browser version. Really, @telstra?

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@DDsD @Telstra Funny I complain and the signal to my phone SUDDENLY changes from 1-2 bars to 3-4 bars. The boy time n several weeks. The only change was my Twitter complaints to @telstra. I’m no moron. I know the squeaky wheel gets attention. I also know that’s shite #cx. 1/2

  • prasadhasan Prasad Hassan (@prasadhasan) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@ShiannonC I sort of agree with you! However, Govt and its monopolized and duoplolized sector have created a lot of unproductive and redundant, laidback jobs, like Telstra,NBN many banks, many without competitive service and poor innovation. Banks just punts on real estate.

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • NathanhyperBole Discount Dracula (@NathanhyperBole) reported

@DentePresi @EmRusciano @Telstra Buddy if you're too incompetent to solve these problems, I'm not surprised you need to pay triple the price for a kids toy

  • Shaun76 S.C. (@Shaun76) reported

@sunriseon7 @Westpac It shouldn’t just be Westpac, ALL Aussie businesses need to bring their call centres back from overseas. Unfortunately, customer service has declined below the gutter since OS call centres started. Telstra is the effing worst.

  • PvHudaif Hudaif PV (@PvHudaif) reported

@shivadiaries @srinivasiyc The Australian approach to privatisation is nuanced, yielding some economic benefits, such as the sale of Telstra which accounts for $1 billion in government revenue, enabling the government to use those funds to combat climate issues and also repay deficits.

  • biggeralex_alex Alex (@biggeralex_alex) reported

@Telstra Telstra always thinks when i ring about an issue - its just a prank call !!

  • SerenaMoana Serena (@SerenaMoana) reported

and seeing as 5g plans on @telstra are powered purely through telstra and not held down by nbn pricing and the like, they should have more flexability

  • marcus_sellen Marcus Sellen (@marcus_sellen) reported

@Treyvaud @Telstra Hey @Treyvaud They are the worst! We moved to TPG about 12 months - never had an issue and much cheaper.

  • Rusticated Elizabeth Tout (@Rusticated) reported

@TIMOTHYJOHNART Aldi. $15 per month plan. Excellent. Uses the Telstra network. More than enough data.

  • LetUsRolll Ash (@LetUsRolll) reported

@Telstra yo my home internet stopped working. Are there any issues in the western Sydney area?

  • lucychip Lucy Jones (@lucychip) reported

@Telstra If you can get a manager to actually call us back and rectify the issue rather than sending bills for a service we are not receiving then great. But I doubt you can. We always get told 2-5 business days and then no one calls. It's truly abysmal customer service.

  • KITTYKOOLKAT35 KITTYKOOLKAT (@KITTYKOOLKAT35) reported

@Telstra I mean your service is a joke so dose not surprise me
