INCOMPETENCE of Telstra knows no bounds! There is a "ringer" problem across Telstra network with copper landlines (exchange problem). They have marked it is FIXED to HIDE the absolute stuff up. I made a complaint about the LIES, INCOMPETENCE; FUCKWITS sent someone to test my line

@Telstra All I’m saying is maybe Telstra and other telco multi billion dollar companies should charge accordingly and stop using every capitalistic ***** trick to overcharge for normal service . Anyhow have a good day

@telstra had a phone call today but because our service has dropped so badly I didn’t take it because it would have been futile! Turns out it was a near neighbour who had a terrible traffic accident! Luckily they got hold of wifey who is the ambulance officer. We need better!!!!

@twoshedslegit @angelar68197975 They sold commercial businesses, not core sovereign functions, worth around $72 billion, including Telstra, the Commonwealth Bank, airports, and rail assets. I thought selling the airports and rail assets was a mistake. At the time they were losing money, so a long-term lease arrangement might have been a better approach than outright sale. That said, it was hardly a “Thatcherite disaster.” In many cases privatisation improved efficiency and competition, telecommunications being a clear example. Critics often highlight the lost future dividends, but overlook the massive debt reduction, the interest savings, and the fact that governments are generally poor at running commercial operations. .

Physically walked in to a @Telstra store to buy the new modem and they literally would not let me buy it. I have to ring up and enquire about it. What kind of system is that? You have the modem on display. It's in stock. I want to buy it. I'm a decade long customer! Joke

@SophiaMoermond When John Howard defeated Paul Keating in the 1996 election, Australia's federal debt was $97B. He sold assets (like Telstra) plus set about paying down the debt. The debt was cleared in 2006 and our savings began. The Rudd govt inherited $17B.
