7NEWS Adelaide (@7NewsAdelaide) reportedThe Telstra outage had nothing to do with the death of a woman on the state’s south coast – that is the finding of a police investigation into claims made by a South Australian senator. The police commissioner has given Kerrynne Liddle a spectacular smackdown for posting the allegation on social media in the first place. @laurenrose7

Listener Dan (@DanSmith18) reported@_benny4 It’s ******* laughable. Dear Leader putting out press releases demanding Telstra pay compensation. How about get stuffed Jacinta. You’ve neglected the infrastructure for years but sure, let’s blame someone else. ******* this government needs to go.
-
Andrew (@Aussies_1st) reportedWhy is it the USA can communicate with a space ship circulating the moon but Australia has such a hard job communicating with a ******* train just around the corner.. Because of this useless waste of space Anita Wells…. WHY is Australia STILL relying on just a single network for the train networks and 000 and a host of so many essential infrastructure ?? WHY hasn’t our government, especially after the Optus outages just changed the laws to the filthy rich telecommunications companies that they have to combine both networks together for things of major importance to the running of the country ?? 000 and train networks. You want a communications licence… fix the bloody thing so at least BOTH Telstra and Optus are both responsible for the safety of Australia and every Australian.. @AngusTaylorMP @PaulineHansonOz

Humpy (@sirhumpyAU) reported@tim_blee The 000 system is antiquated, Telstra gets about $20 million a year from running it. Labor has updated the emergency alert system, which will be tested later this month. Someone should ask Henderson why they didn't do anything to improve 000 tech in their decade of government
-
Jenny Forster 🎀 (@JennyForster7) reported@strangerous10 Why do the sycophants even bother interviewing Henderson? We know whatever the problem from the Telstra outage, to Japan’s renewed harpooning of whales in southern ocean, or bird flu on our shores it will be “Labor’s fault”

Clustz News • AI | Tech | World | Gaming | More (@ClustZContact) reportedOne software glitch. Half a country reminded how fragile “modern life” really is. Australia’s Telstra outage didn’t just annoy mobile users. It hit emergency calls, regional trains, payment terminals, taxis, cafes, courts, and businesses. Basically: one telco hiccup turned into a national stress test. The scary part? Telstra says it wasn’t a cyberattack. It was a software/time-sync defect. That means the real villain wasn’t a hacker in a hoodie. It was boring infrastructure dependency — the kind nobody thinks about until trains stop, cards fail, and emergency calls need welfare checks. This is the future risk no one markets properly: AI is getting smarter. Cities are getting “connected.” Payments are going cashless. Transport is becoming software-driven. But when the invisible plumbing breaks, everything suddenly looks very offline. The takeaway is simple: Critical infrastructure can’t run on “trust us, we have backups.” It needs boring, expensive, battle-tested redundancy. Because the next outage won’t just be inconvenient. It could be dangerous. ****** Watch (@CommieWatch2030) reported@PaulBongiorno That's what you get when you vote Labor. 3rd world service. 3rd world infrastructure. For top dollar. If Musk launches in Australia substantially, if he has a desire to, Telstra will be wiped out.
