Scammer calls. Tells me they have identified issues with my (non-existent) Telstra internet connection and they need to test it. I start to ask what I need to do before he bursts out laughing and hangs up. I don't think he will be scamming for long.

  • ozmarshall Marshall Hughes (@ozmarshall) reported

Telstra has throttled my grandfather's internet. Trying to fix it, Telstra needs his Telstra ID. Doesn't know. Go to reset using landline number. Telstra sends him an email. His email address is his Telstra ID.

@iDGiam @fenelladavidson I know ! I’ve told Telstra and they’ve said they have one number but a system that uses millions of numbers and therefore can’t be pinned down.

SMALL BUSINESSES, YOU CAN’T AFFORD TO BECOME #Telstra VICTIMS. @Telstra @andy_penn The stumbling disaster that is #Telstra is all over the place when it comes to delivering accurate, timely service. Trouble is, @Optus is no better, and both have cost me too much time and money.
