  • AGhostMachine 𝔾𝕙𝕠𝕤𝕥𝕀𝕟𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕄𝕒𝕔𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕖 (@AGhostMachine) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra @Telstra you have now slowed my 'backup' 4g to the point I cannot even load netbanking or the public transport site. And thrboutsgrbstillnhas 2 days (which will take it to 8-9 days down) unthrottle this backup immediately please .

  • KoparaFallsKid Robyn D (@KoparaFallsKid) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Pamelanicholls6 @andrewofoz @JaneCaro @Telstra In my view, they should provide free additional phone data when broadband is down.

  • AGhostMachine 𝔾𝕙𝕠𝕤𝕥𝕀𝕟𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕄𝕒𝕔𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕖 (@AGhostMachine) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus Yup - bought some extra data and continued to use the Optus 4g to power my household. I will be sending the bill the way of Telstra if they ever try to resolved the issue :(

  • tweet__j_b_ Jonathan (@tweet__j_b_) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra ... and then you’ll charge $100 a month for a pitiful data allowance, like you have elves with a good union digging in your data mine or some shit.

  • AGhostMachine 𝔾𝕙𝕠𝕤𝕥𝕀𝕟𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕄𝕒𝕔𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕖 (@AGhostMachine) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Last night's (amazing) stream took 30+ gig of mobile Data - unfortunately I don't think I can keep that up. 11 days into this Telstra outage they gave me a return time of 7pm tomorrow... Let's cross or fingers/toes/other bits.

  • topher_1976 Chris (@topher_1976) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@UndaSthnXiStand @larry_blunders @OptusEnterprise Telstra has NOT started switching 3G off. They did turn their 2100MHz network off a few years ago, but the 850MHz network has not.

  • maisysh Maisy Hutchings (@maisysh) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Your message is considered commercial in nature as it contains a link to an advertisement (for a product/service I’m not a customer of). Asking me to provide my contact details again in order to unsubscribe is pretty dodgy and not the level of customer service I expect.

  • kevdee4 Kevin Rankin (@kevdee4) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra worst decision ever was to sign up with Telstra. Not one single person who I’ve spoke to can identify the problem. 4 weeks without working adsl, you even sent the first months bill through the week I signed up, shocking service.

  • coachbear mikey (@coachbear) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra nope no outage, still one bar

  • AGhostMachine 𝔾𝕙𝕠𝕤𝕥𝕀𝕟𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕄𝕒𝕔𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕖 (@AGhostMachine) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Telstra outage continues with the status as still 'investigating' pretty sure we are on day 11 now.

  • kevdee4 Kevin Rankin (@kevdee4) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

.@Telstra you have said it will be 24-48 hours for 4 weeks now and I still haven’t received a phone call. Your customer service is absolutely terrible. I’m canceling my service with you so I’d like a call back to find out where I send your modem back too.

  • TeamBloomart Guy Incognito (@TeamBloomart) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@JohnBirmingham @Telstra @Optus I used to pay my dad's bigpond account (in his name, my cc direct debit deets). When he died I tried to cancel the account. Imagine how that went.

  • ajphelo Andrew J Phelan (@ajphelo) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@JaneCaro @Telstra I reckon if you wanted to win the election and you promised to fix the telcos you’d be a shoe in!

  • KoparaFallsKid Robyn D (@KoparaFallsKid) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Pamelanicholls6 @andrewofoz @JaneCaro @Telstra I do that too, using my phone as a hotspot. But that chews through the data allowance and they (in my case Optus) don't let you have extra phone data because the internet is down. They still charge $10 a Gb for extra usage over the monthly allowance.

  • GregRandall1 TheWeed (@GregRandall1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@JohnBirmingham @Telstra @Optus Oh I feel your pain. I had to organise internet with a fixed IP address for my Mum’s home security cams. She kept cancelling her internet account because “I don’t use that rubbish” and setting up new, costly phone accounts that involved cancel fees. #dayslost

  • AGhostMachine 𝔾𝕙𝕠𝕤𝕥𝕀𝕟𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕄𝕒𝕔𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕖 (@AGhostMachine) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra It has just updated and is down again for another 2 days :(

  • AGhostMachine 𝔾𝕙𝕠𝕤𝕥𝕀𝕟𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕄𝕒𝕔𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕖 (@AGhostMachine) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra I assure you it is nothing to do with the on site equipment. There has been close to thirty outages in two months. I simply want to report this node/leg as still being down

  • mikedoeslife Mike Stevens (@mikedoeslife) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Turns out the fastest way to get service in a Telstra store is to walk in with an Optus bag in your hand

  • dgoodlad Mr. David “Esky” Goodlad (@dgoodlad) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra There’s no update just a ticket to escalate in the morning. Still no acknowledgement of a broader outage despite neighbors with the same problem.

  • 6r3tt Brett (@6r3tt) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@andy_penn Telstra are just *************** now - wasted 4 hours of my day waiting for a BOOKED appointment and just got a call saying technician won’t arrive cos he has another priority. 2 hours to drive here to be here by 8am as requested by you- rude bastards #TelstraSuck

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • JfkWhitlam JFK Whitlam (@JfkWhitlam) reported

@FusionPartyAus @DesigningOpen @ACOSS With tax as a back stop for economic shocks Governments that steal public assets through fire sales, such as telstra The party should be held accountable for financial damage to the nation The NBN is the current public asset, that should be delivering cheaper internet

  • EchoRadios Echo Radios (@EchoRadios) reported

@KingOfSardonica No additional charges beyond the annual service fee. First year FREE, then $20/year per radio which includes unlimited usage. Supports all major carriers globally: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular (US) Rogers, Bell, Telus (Canada) Telstra, Optus, Vodafone (Australia) EE, O2, Three, Vodafone (UK) Spark, Vodafone, 2degrees (New Zealand) And many more worldwide.

  • Samlester609 Sam Lester 🇦🇺 (@Samlester609) reported

@Telstra your support service is terrible. You haven’t resolved my problem.@NBN_Australia won’t show up to fix the nbn service and your service team just talk in circles. I will be moving to another company unless you resolve this issue asap

  • Bartlett_DJ David Bartlett (@Bartlett_DJ) reported

    2. Once available I ordered a NBN service via @Telstra in late November. The NBN Co contractor came on time to install the box and the cable from the street. The old conduit was broken so he said he would need to dig a new conduit or string over head.

  • julerin8 Weird Uncle Bob (@julerin8) reported

@tuppaware Not as stark as the difference between projected (no guarantees of course) and actual service at my house. Despite the Telstra and NBN sales staff using an impressive simulator to assess the service I "should" have. Image if any other business non delivered on contracts so often

  • WorldlySandS Worldly Sights & Sounds (@WorldlySandS) reported

@optus_help @Optus any issues with Optus NBN or 4G/5G in Glen Waverley, VIC? Multiple reports of high Intermittent drops and high latency via both mediums. All devices have been powered cycled. No issues with Telstra!

  • MisirStan blocked by a lefty (@MisirStan) reported

@BADALEX_ @KatyKray73 the government ended up reacquiring almost everything they sold with Telstra. The government owns the NBN network. We prob own more of the system than we did back then.

  • truth_barrage Truth Barrage (@truth_barrage) reported

@Telstra I just went to Telstra store and was informed that not even buying a new apple iphone 17 was guaranteed to fix this problem, his only solution was to use an old samsung...he then blamed apple for the problem.

  • DFactualists Aussie Diana S 🇦🇺 (@DFactualists) reported

Thanks once again @Telstra I have a house full of family from interstate & your damn internet to the TV in the lounge is not working I pay extra for @Foxtel & that's f***** after downloading a pay movie!! Merry Christmas to you too🤬😡😳🙄

  • NBN_Australia nbn® Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported
