Now I just spent 20mins on the phone trying to speak to a manger who didn’t have the time to deal with my situation. Good work @Telstra, A+ at customer service from all of your team 👏🏽👏🏽🙄

@hipstergeddon @mektronik It is a Telstra employee number, based on the Australian Government Service number. My AGS was 39538983. Telstra changed first digit to corresponding letter and last AGS digit is a check digit: C953898

@AlanJDixon @Telstra No not really lol - just constantly frustrated by the extremely bad timing in their outages or the inflictions on my business account which never ever get resolved at first point of contact. If they were a small business they’d have sunk ages ago.

@Telstra It didn’t, but I found that independently. It said everything was fine, and that 90% of issues were resolved using the online service.

Have just ticked over 1hr on hold with @Telstra support. Home internet doesn't work. Tried "helpful" self service diagnostic to no avail. Wonder how much longer I'll be on hold for...

I’ve adopted a new approach with @Telstra. When they stuff up a request I will cancel or downgrade something. After 4 chat sessions I was still getting stuffed around with a plan change. I cancelled the service. That’s $100p/mth not going to @andy_penn. Not paying for bad service

@Aerohaveno @OperationalInc1 Then there’s those on Telstra Wholesale, duped into thinking they’ve got better service than Optus, when in fact it’s the opposite.

@Telstra So you can reply to this Tweet within 1m of posting but the case manager assigned to us never calls back. This has gone all the way to the Ombudsman but you still can’t get it together. No, the number hasn’t been ported, we have no NBN and the promised 4G back isn’t working.

@Telstra No definitely not as you keep saying it's the best available instead of giving us a high speed box or send out a technician to fix the problem we have been over this several times

@WeekOnWednesday @mariewalsh18 Fun times. I’ve been waiting on @Telstra to fix their f*ckup for 6 months now. Unstable internet as a Virtual Assistant means I’ll lose my business because I’ve run out of savings to live on and have lost multiple clients to their incompetence.
-
Aiden Howlett

@Aerohaveno @OperationalInc1 I’ve given up on public wifi, especially on moving vehicles. Most of the time it’s a Telstra connection anyway, of which my phone handles it better through my personal 5G service.

@Telstra You’re really clutching Winona. Did I need so get granuler more or do you want to keep flexing the frivolous marketing names of the service telstra offers through an iOS application? I had to go though sales via phone to find someone that could comprehend the issue. It’s done.
