@hipstergeddon @mektronik It is a Telstra employee number, based on the Australian Government Service number. My AGS was 39538983. Telstra changed first digit to corresponding letter and last AGS digit is a check digit: C953898

  • unintimidating tim moss (@unintimidating) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

i decided a while ago that @telstra was no longer worth their high price and terrible customer service. during a lengthy call i told them i was ceasing the use of their services from that date. now, i have a(nother) incorrect bill from them. 1/2

  • Sbarry86 Shaun (@Sbarry86) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra this is the staff ID of the person who is rude and not customer focus D869563

  • davmoro David Morison (@davmoro) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra 1.5hrs on hold, no one can help, it’s not rocket surgery, it’s you system!!! 250 elderly residents without phones... come on!

  • skwashd Dave Hall (@skwashd) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

I’ve adopted a new approach with @Telstra. When they stuff up a request I will cancel or downgrade something. After 4 chat sessions I was still getting stuffed around with a plan change. I cancelled the service. That’s $100p/mth not going to @andy_penn. Not paying for bad service

  • asteroidproject Damian Marley🚀 (@asteroidproject) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus you are just as bad. Tried connecting via you but you cancelled order 4 times, hence trying Telstra again.

  • dafoshowsc shauncampbell (@dafoshowsc) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@SJFoxy1979 @Jen2310 #wowoeful I never forget the game at Telstra dome

  • trevoryoung Trevor Young (@trevoryoung) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@digtoolsonline It’s not my day! @GeelongCats app doesn’t respond, so deleted it and am now trying to download from App Store. Of course, it won’t download (and it’s not an internet issue - I’m putting the blame on @Telstra - they’ve never really got this app business).

  • CorinnaSladey CrinInfluenzer🥂💕🚜🏇💎 (@CorinnaSladey) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra seriously you are a piece of shit, spoken to your call centre over 15 times in the last few months and still problems not resolved. ****** useless 😡🥵🤬

  • elizaalanz Liza✨ (@elizaalanz) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra I sent you a DM, (using my 4G because I’m in my bedroom and I don’t get wifi in there due to the horrid connection ) 😊

  • YAYASISTAR Andrea Scott (@YAYASISTAR) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@HelenWolff @Telstra Tweeting sometimes gets things moving faster 😜... hope they fix it soon

  • ianjroberts Ian Roberts (@ianjroberts) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@telstra shocking customer experience. Still no Internet, still can't get through to technical support #terrible #CustomerService

  • davmoro David Morison (@davmoro) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

No business phones @Telstra 1hr on phone and apparently no one can help, 3rd transfer because no one can help... not very good for a business custom. #pullyafingersout

  • devilboy77 Simon (@devilboy77) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Sbarry86 @Telstra Muppets the lot of them and yes they are so bloody rude very un-Australian

  • OliveWahh Oliver-Todd Hunter (@OliveWahh) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Now I just spent 20mins on the phone trying to speak to a manger who didn’t have the time to deal with my situation. Good work @Telstra, A+ at customer service from all of your team 👏🏽👏🏽🙄

  • MdmAbsentMinded 💧Résistez Maintenant! (@MdmAbsentMinded) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

We all wrote "no dams" inside a triangle on our ballot papers in 1983 to show support to save the Franklin wilderness. Howard returned none of the $$ from the mining boom to society. Sold everything so "mum & dad investors" could 'own' Telstra. All of Aus used to own it.

  • ogettings Oliver Gettings (@ogettings) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Thank you. I’ve never set up an account myself, online in-store so I don’t know what has happened.

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • PeterRelph 𝙋𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙥𝙝 (@PeterRelph) reported

I hate my Telstra Shop, I feel lost & confused when I'm anywhere near it. Having to explain my problem to a teenager after waiting half an hour or more for them to do their fingernails only to be told to ring Telstra. Once it was friendly advice & a cup of coffee, now automatons.

  • FukaiRio_ 深海リオ🍣🧜‍♀️Rio Fukai【3.0 Debut|10.8 22:00AEST】 (@FukaiRio_) reported

I bet with my boobas they're gonna stalk who typed the word "Telstra" on twitter and say "oh sorry to hear that perhaps you can throw us a DM see what we can help?" to ACT LIKE they did sth for you in public lmao

  • Hipcatprintery Lawrence Finn (@Hipcatprintery) reported

@WhistleOut_AU They don’t have choices and the Telstra network was privatised before it was complete leaving most rural areas absolutely useless in terms of coverage regardless of who you “choose”!

  • Farmer_Dave999 David Ward (@Farmer_Dave999) reported

@JasonofSyd @RavenZech2 Optus is a lot better than Telstra I've complained about service to both & Telstra is like talking to a brick wall, too thick to be able to get through #arrogant

  • corduroy Joshua McKinnon (@corduroy) reported

@stufromoz I’m in the city now, so I could walk into a store. But this is taking much longer than I want it to already, and it’s a bad sign that other things will be harder than they should be, so I’m thinking of just jumping to Telstra.

  • FionaLakeAus Fiona Lake (@FionaLakeAus) reported

@Telstra Excellent change, win/win from absolutely every angle, having call centre jobs located in genuinely regional locations - regional Aus $ injection, society benefits, higher customer satisfaction. Fingers crossed @Qantas follows suit as O/S call centres also infuriating. @VicBStard

  • amazingali9 amazingali (@amazingali9) reported

@egirrrlie @slsandpet I had an optus mobile phone account until I cancelled it when I went overseas in 2011. I returned in 2013 and got a telstra mobile phone. In Feb 2021 I found out I had a bad credit report from Optus. Someone had gotten a mobile phone in my name, using my ID … 1

  • andrewl5059 Andrew Deakin (@andrewl5059) reported

The @Telstra app & general retail service is exceptionally unhelpful - treats me as a business, despite always being a residential user, & fails to respond when change requested.

  • mmmaxi mmmaxi (@mmmaxi) reported

@Appit15 @Anthony_Klan They’re not because who else would you go to? Telstra is good but too expensive and Vodaphone coverage is awful in so many places. They need to sort this mess out and he forced to maintain better security.

  • bazscott Baz Scott (@bazscott) reported

@tomizaks Unlikely. But they will be able to help with creative ways to say "we're not going to help you". (I moved to Telstra last week. The rest of the family are awaiting Telstra SIMs now. Four customers lost not because of the event, because of Optus' ****** response to it)
