  @bjw68 @BenDooley8 @Telstra Hey Ben, just wanna say that speed is the speed between your mobile device and the router (effectively your wifi speed), NOT the actual speed of your internet service. You need to be looking at either “router - internet”…or “phone to internet” for your connection speed.

  @Killarneyag @nig_michael @Telstra @CasFarmerCD @Optus If you were lucky & had a real tuned antenna setup/low-loss cable, you might just be able to just connect... as long as no line of sight issues. If you were that bit closer south-west below the ranges you’d, almost be able to hook into the @Stirlings2Coast @Pivotel network 🤔

  @BenHobley @WheatWatcher This is a @BelongAU simcard sitting in my iPad Ben. Uses the telstra network, although I’m not sure if it’s got access to all Telstra towers. $40 for 80gb with data rollover and can get a simcard from Woolies or coles from memory!

  @Telstra Money and effort, all lost! Seems like the store workers didn’t even want to work - they are all like - go online raise a complaint! Visited 3 times, same experience.. this is pathetic!!

  @DavosChris @Asher_Wolf @TurnbullMalcolm You may remember they upgraded the network to ADSL2+ but only released services when a competitor installed competing DSLAM hardware. In addition to them fighting access to competitors. So privatised Telstra is part of the problem of where we are now.

  @Telstra To a prepaid service. - 150$ plan - tried all channels and no one can help? Telstra castle hill store tried as well - it’s stuck for more than 10 days! I was not given a refund in store and asked to raise a complaint. Now I can’t even port my number out of Telstra!! WTH

  @RedFiddler Re pre-paid phone, work out first what coverage you need. If you’re often in rural and remote areas you may have little choice but Telstra. I was happily on 3G Virgin (Optus network) until I moved to where only service is 4G Telstra. I hear good reports of Aldi (Optus n’work).

  @BazzaCC NRMA: worst value for money. They're like Telstra in that they trade on their name, not their ability. We had our house flood a few years back when the fridge plumbing gave way. Youi - who aren't everyone's cup of tea - sorted everything with a minimum of fuss.
