@Telstra No, I waited on hold for 3 hours and nobody answered. Also waited for an agent in chat for 4 hours, and when someone finally helped, they left for lunch... absolutely useless customer service...

@rubin_angela @JaneCaro I gave up on Telstra, went with another provider since the initial set up 2.5 years ago I haven’t had to speak to them and the service hasn’t faulted. If I billed Telstra for the hours spent on the phone to them with issues it would have payed my annual bill with credit

@rubin_angela Recently Telsta performed enhancements that disconnected my service. Border closures prevented me from visiting a store, and I have no service other than Telstra. I have WiFi with another provider, so I messaged Telstra on thier app. Eventually I got a Tech savvy employee ✅

@On_Da_Ball3 @lynlinking At a guess (an educated one) its one of those not so rare 50 pair 0.40 Telstra cables. If you want to fix it the colour code is blue, orange green, brown, grey.

@rubin_angela When we built our new house it took Telstra 6 months to get the internet connected because they kept telling us it was an existing dwelling despite us giving them proof the old house was knocked down and we purchased the land and built a new one!

Pleased to report that Franz Kafka is alive, well, and working in customer services at Telstra.

@rubin_angela @KayeJon32736745 So the first rule of Telstra is that you need to stop thinking that it’s one company because sadly it isn’t. For marketing purposes it might look like one company but if you realize it’s more like 5 and sometimes 20.. it helps figure out why things are so broken
