@Telstra Hi Tom. I was told Friday evening my issue has been escalated and I’d get a call back yesterday. I received nothing. I’ve moved house recently and have poor coverage in my new house. I have excellent cover everywhere else. I feel they don’t understand this.

@Telstra You’re asking me to do a lot to fix your network. I’m telling you an issue, the customer focused response is to get it fixed. All you need to do is send someone around and test it. I realise this may not be the way you do it. But your way is broken.

@Magpie1954nBird @Telstra Tell Telstra you’re making a complaint to the telecommunications ombudsman. That gets their attention real quick.

  • RobBendigo Rob Stephenson FRSA (@RobBendigo) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

@Telstra Yes - Telstra eventually disconnected the service after we took the issue to the Telco Ombudsman. Happy to keep this discussion going in public, but the next chapter will get ugly, if you ask, “Why?”!

  • RuralProNews RuralProNews (@RuralProNews) reported

@Magpie1954nBird @Telstra Yep... their really bad.. you just need to ring the telecommunications ombudsman do it or lodge online its easy and will get it sorted and penalise them if they dont...

  • webprofusion Christopher Cook (@webprofusion) reported

@ZodmanPerth @Telstra So have you tried setting your modem to use an alternative DNS service like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 - that way you can (possibly) rule out DNS. If it still doesn't work then the block is ip/route based.

@Telstra our NBN isn’t working but everything on our modem says it should be. I’ve tried to reset the modem by unplugging etc but it’s not working still. Any ideas?
