@Telstra who is the #Genius that came up with the idea that, when Service is down the ONLY way the customer can contact the support by a email? how does that even work!! #Belong @Telstra_news @TelstraBcast

  • helliebells HellieB (@helliebells) reported

@TraceySpicer @Telstra I found out my 80+ mother was paying $350/mth for mobile & home phone, on a 2 yr contract. Mobile was owned outright. She never signed a contract. It took months to fight, never had a refund & moved her elsewhere. She now pays $25/mth for same service.

  • _Liz_S_ Liz (@_Liz_S_) reported

@TraceySpicer @maddiepalmer @Telstra I reported landline/internet issue. Telstra couldn't get me via landline so sent an email. I didn't respond within the requested 3 days, the case was closed. Problem fixed apparently.

@TraceySpicer @Telstra Am sure that's why but maybe if he can have "medical condition" added to his file and that he requires phone service...instead of cutting him off they could just contact NOK.. ? Good luck , hope you get some resolution xx

  • maddiepalmer Maddie Palmer (@maddiepalmer) reported

@Mcali4 @Telstra I agree. In a pandemic, all care needs to be given to assure that elderly/vulnerable people can call for support and help. @Telstra made a good move last year in making public phones free - there’s an opportunity here to make sure homebound people have similar access.

  • Richard30507524 Richard Shaw (@Richard30507524) reported

@Telstra Hi Vicky, sorry lost my twitter login/new phone The service here is still very bad. I have reset everything, made sure there are no devices hogging the bandwidth, and tested at different times. There appear to be massive slowdowns intermittently that can't be rectified on our end

  • Lala_Firehawk loud Australian 🧻🧽🧼🦠 (@Lala_Firehawk) reported

@TraceySpicer @Telstra Yeah, they probably sent him email to his Imaginary email account, telling him his service was suspended. My ISP just issues a late fee charge. But my service doesn't get interrupted.

  • getgavin Gavin McDougall | 麥格文 (@getgavin) reported

@Telstra I did get to a store. Achieving my goal was more difficult than needed but it has been resolved. More importantly, I hope the CS LINE issue has been resolved. A default "heavy call load" message isn't a load issue - it's a lack of staffing issue! 2 hours wait is ridiculous.

  • TraceyCoulton Tracey Coulton (@TraceyCoulton) reported

@TraceySpicer @Telstra Currently in protracted conversations with @Telstra due to NBN to my house stopped over 5 weeks ago. They’ve sent me 4 modems that don’t work and they can’t fix nbn because it is already connected.

  • TheAndrewLeRoy Andy Le Roy (@TheAndrewLeRoy) reported

@TraceySpicer @Telstra For Telstra, yes. They made my 83 year old dad sign up for internet saying his phone service would be cut off due to NBN rollout. They gave him ADSL because their fibre was available at his house, and by the time he died several years later, NBN was still not available either.
