@9NewsAUS This is getting out of hand, OPTUS TELSTRA WOOLWORTHS etc. we spend a lot of money in those establishments and we do expect our privacy. I think they should lower their prices until they've pulled their finger out and manage to resolve this major problem.

@BcEvolution @CryptoCyberClam @9NewsAUS Sounds like a bad deal to me, "Here's a new phone for the data that was stolen, our bad, the data may enrich those that stole it, & it may also make your life more difficult due to it being used fraudulently" - Telstra (probably) I'd tell them the shove the phone up their ***.

@Telstra Nah. Not going to bother. I got through on your phone service and they made it very clear it's still 1999 for Australia telecoms and i need to go to a store. It would be literally easier for me to get an esim from a European provider with a good global roaming plan.

@bethydavies @AnnieBrownie4 I'm glad you finally got through. I help my mum with these sorts of calls, usually to Telstra. I'm not sure how people cope. I reckon a fair few don't and suffer the consequences.

@LoveNotGreed @engagedpractx @iiNet I changed from Telstra at the beginning of the pandemic. I had a very expensive plan, and the service was hopeless. I’ve got so much data now.

@Telstra Yeah. 100 points. But in the last 10 minutes I settled a little girl down for a nap and bought an esim from the first result for the search "esim global roaming" and installed it and now have the mobile data i need, and a snoring child.

@Telstra you are absolutely ******* hopeless. For the last 3 years your signals have gradually gotten worse. Now I can’t even make a call in my office or at home without the call failing! I think I’d rather my information had been hacked at this point. Disgraceful!#telstra #fail

@ozjimbob They use the Telstra network too, if that's a consideration.

@Telstra I was, but stopped now. I can't keep going on circles for longer. It seems I'm going to have to go to a store tomorrow to fix the esim issue cause somehow the functionality of a esim can't be managed digitally for some reason.
