  I’m sorry but in 2012 I paid $350 or so to attend two Soundwaves and saw System of a Down amongst like 15 other good bands I’m not paying $300 to sit in the back row on level 3 of the Telstra Dome surrounded my people who discovered nu metal ten minutes ago. I’ve been waiting 14 years to see SOAD again but that is taking the absolute piss.

  @ChinaSelect Australia has had two major telecommunications network failures. As a result of the Telstra failure, three people died, including a baby. One person died as a result of the Optus failure. No infrastructure should have any exposure to foreign adversaries.

  @TopherField One of our clients had an existing telstra router just wanted an NBN connection. 2 weeks. $110 per month. I got her to contact starlink. 5 days later delivered and installed. $75 per month. Get your act together telstra. Can't be so slow anymore. There are choices.

  Seems perfectly legit, reward people for failures …. 🙄 Telstra has paid its chief executive, Vicki Brady, $6.8m for the year ending in June, after docking 20% of her bonus in response to the network’s nationwide outage in July. The company reported financial results on Thursday. Its board met on Monday and decided to cut Brady’s bonus by $607,000 – but she still took home a $700,000 pay rise as she was awarded a total of $6.1m the year before.
