    @annaspargoryan Years ago I called up Telstra ti change my service and we were getting along so well, she was “hang on I’m pausing this “ and we chatted for an hour. She warned me when we were back on recording. It’s a shame she lived overseas

    @garystark @Telstra @VodafoneAU They actually are taking action. I write on this regularly. It's not as easy as just saying "stop" because of how they come in, though, and means users need to be educated about what they are and when to hang up.

    @lotus2955 @Telstra This may help: scam calls/messages just do this: in Android settings ( top RH corner > Two Dots ) >SETTINGS >find "SET RULES "> "BLOCK MESSAGES" >"KEYWORDS for SPAM MESSAGES" > then add these words/symbols :www >http > > | > Voicemail > message > Incoming > notice

    @Telstra @AngryNana4 I have been known to answer 'Australian Federal Police, Communication Fraud Division' they normally ask you to repeat it and the hang up.

    @BreakfastNews I try to mess with some of them, but often get disconnected (sometimes they hang up, sometimes Telstra's scam monitoring kills its).
