Hey everyone, unfortunately no improvements with my internet. Apparently the outage is resolved in my area but there’s nothing fixed on my end. Trying to get in touch with Telstra is a nightmare but I’ll keep you updated and give a heads up when we can finish it all off 🙏

@ElenaOanaMarti1 @Telstra It was probably an Indian scammer, did they sound Indian? (If yes it was a scam). These people are criminals who are trying to get access to your bank account. Tell them off! And then hang up. But also telecom is the worst company in 🇦🇺 js

@kristin8X @Telstra Kristin, you can track down media phone contacts & names by going to the ‘investor relations’ site of Telstra, dig into asx announcements from 2020. You’ll find a couple of names and numbers in October statement on group exec role changes and in November statement on revised ROIC

@bymysidebritsau Just be careful with the switch - MVNOs like Aldi only use "parts of the Telstra network" which could mean you get less coverage than actual Telstra especially in regional areas.

@Telstra So turns out nothing can be done in 6 hours!!!!! Offshore call centres, that have limited ability to do anything that is not on there script is not customer service! I said three weeks ago that if this connection could not be done promptly to let me know and I would go elsewhere

I have had a chat going with support people at Telstra for nearly 5 hours. I am convinced they are paid to infuriate you so you disconnect. Absolutely no service @Telstra . If you are connecting a service go anywhere but Telstra

@Coopsy25 @Telstra I’ve done many 2hr+ phone sessions with Telstra. Worst customer service ever. Took me 20 years to finally leave them but it’s the best thing I’ve ever done
