    @Telstra Haha. No, after 3 months of no internet, several days lost on hold trying to sort, Telstra refusing to help me, I gave up and went to internode.

  • TickHarris Victoria Evans (@TickHarris) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @MatthewBevan Since now moving to Australia and dealing with horrendous @Telstra customer service, wasting hours and hours on hold to them and paying for internet they didn’t deliver, I feel I’ve paid them back.

  • elwasofran oh i member (@elwasofran) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @JoelDTD They **** you if you need a phone but now you’ve got Belong who cover a fair bit of regional Australia (they use the Telstra towers). Roll over data and cheap plans ($15, $25, $40)

  • mselbyLFCSC Matthew Selby (@mselbyLFCSC) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @TKoutsantonisMP sadly I think the @VincentTarzia interview on ABC has just had an equal for being bad!!. The @Telstra guy was amazingly poor.

  • trck71 Mark Donnell (@trck71) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @Telstra still no outcome, boy that’s great customer service

  • trck71 Mark Donnell (@trck71) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @Telstra your consultants are a different breed - use this link to get help - department closed before link sent #nohelp #telstraliars #nocustomerservice

  • trck71 Mark Donnell (@trck71) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @Telstra your consultants lie and refuse to help customers #telstralie

  • Real_LukeMarch Luke Marchioro (@Real_LukeMarch) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @baxters I did 4 hours on hold to @Telstra last year. Quite a feat. (And they still didn’t fix my problem)

  • Ashaheem Ahmed Shaheem (@Ashaheem) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @Telstra Just DM you. Hope you can provide me the information I need to port my number to Optus. After many years with Telstra I have decided to find another provider due to poor service.

  • zzap 🦠 satoshi nakamoto (@zzap) reported from Gawler, State of South Australia

    @peterw @Telstra What’s the trouble?

  • Ashaheem Ahmed Shaheem (@Ashaheem) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @Telstra Upgrade info to Upfront plan misleading. Help desk assured me I could share the 60G data with my second phone. Now I find that the second phone also has to go on the plan. That will cost me twice as much as I’m paying now. Is this a scam?

  • KALHolman Ken Holman (@KALHolman) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    Any Telstra customers in Adelaide having trouble at all sending or receiving texts today? Or emails?

  • Richardshouse Richard (@Richardshouse) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    Note to the scammers calling & pretending to be "Telstra Security Services" "ATO legal department" etc Folks you can't run a voice based scam calling operation IF YOUR CALLERS CANT EVEN SPEAK CLEAR ENGLISH At least learn to pronounce the ******* words #australia #scam #stupid

  • LadyPoop2 Lady Pooh (@LadyPoop2) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @gwendabgilbert I get the TELSTRA Scanners, and we are with Origin,which is **** btw🙄🙄

  • pongoes Tony Brown (@pongoes) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    So @Telstra are getting rid of #AFLLIVEPASS that came with a mobile service and data free replacing it with @kayosports at a discount (albeit limited) and metered data. Does that just seem like a middle finger to consumers to make some more coin?

  • ikoeper Ingo Koeper (@ikoeper) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    So the home internet isn’t working, and @Telstra doesn’t seem to have a service phone number, directs me to a chat in their app, where nobody answers. Imagine I would have to give a life lecture now....

  • AxantCorp Geoff Thomas (@AxantCorp) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @Telstra Hi. There tended to be coverage where you state it is exists. The issue is that in the fringe areas it’s inadequate for web browsing or high reliability of calls. It’s a major tourism destination- you should be able to access booking apps etc wherever

  • fresheyrephoto Kerri Cliff (@fresheyrephoto) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @aewright91 I would talk to Telstra and make sure you get an AU approved device as some can actually reduce/shut down signal from the towers. I had a modem (approved) that went rogue once and took 3 weeks to track it back to me. Meanwhile the district had no phone service or internet.

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
  • lachieeAU LachieeAU (@lachieeAU) reported

    mums @Telstra has the best social media presence of any internet company. They might be expensive as ****, but im starting to think it's worth it

  • oce_dylan 15K Dylan (@oce_dylan) reported

    @crayolawtf @Telstra I have a problem.

  • guiltyfnt Guilty (@guiltyfnt) reported

    @crayolawtf @Telstra Yo! I need some help

  • aBagofDicks__ Daveeeeee (@aBagofDicks__) reported

    @Telstra Spend some money on your infrastructure in Port Hedland. We can all make phone calls, but no one can use their data because the network is so clogged up with traffic! Disgraceful. Dial up speeds.

  • mrjoeaston Joe Aston (@mrjoeaston) reported

    @peely76 @Telstra The whole telco industry funds Telstra’s payphones under a govt levy and their continued provision is mandated by the govt’s Universal Service Obligation. So no, Telstra could not have ripped them up nor did they “choose” society and the customer

  • DavidDeex David Deex (@DavidDeex) reported

    What Telstra's free to use payphones shows is that public phones are an essential service. They always have been, from the moment they were introduced, to now, and into the future. We must never again pay for this essential service.

  • AnthCondon Anthony Condon (@AnthCondon) reported

    @gleep23 @Telstra I think not quite, but yeah, it's like public transport, the cost of ticketing mainly covers the cost of having a ticketing system. This is why these should be state assets, not listed companies with profit motives. Essential/monopoly service + profit motive = inefficient.
