Further to this, you can't speak to anyone at @Telstra Plus. When you call, you tell the AI that you want to speak to someone relating to Telstra Plus and are put through to Disconnections. Must be hoping that those poor souls can save the customer from walking.

@Telstra Hi Ryan, reception has been poor for a couple of years. Have changed from iPhone to pixel - still drops out on reg basis. Others in this street and next have same prob. 3-4km from Adel CBD. Pretty flat. No obvious obstacles I can see re reception. Help.

@Pleasure_Lab I hope it’s not QANTAS @Qantas I was on hold for 4 hours then heard a message “This call is being terminated”. Rang back & on hold for a further 1.75 hours before some poor harassed call centre person answered. Vying with @Telstra for worst customer service.

@Telstra See the tweet I linked to before from Jan 2021. No, there’s no outage. The signal strength is high. But data speed is terrible, barely 1mbps. Same as last year and the year before. Other tweets refer to same problem in neighbouring Nelson Bay. How can this always be the case?

I'm so glad I've never had this issue with @iiNet in the last 7 years it just sucks because they sent out a technician 2 days after I contacted them but their technician wasn't able to work on it since it's Telstra equipment

Sooo ummm… Do we remember how I was cursing the ATO last week? Guess who hadn’t cleared the cache… And guess what the issue was… And this is why I’m nearly always polite to call centre people (at least I always start polite, sometimes Telstra asks for me to be stern).

Apparently @telstra (and maybe @optus) reception is still down in the Toronto 2283 area due to tower damage (If I left my yard I'd probably realise but since I'm on wifi and noone ever calls me I kinda don't notice, there has been a letup in span texts though!)
