Really need to switch to @Telstra from @Optus.. can’t get any service in the emergency department I’m working in now at Palmerston... makes it kinda hard to get teams to call and discuss patients..

@Telstra I ended up getting there through the online chat - not before I was transferred to a ‘saves’ team tho. It’s not the fact I can call... my issue is that I can do everything else I want online but you make it hard to cancel my contract. I know why, but it’s not a great XP.

@RickWatt9 @strangerous10 @softhardworker I had thought of that but I think the damage has been done. Will Telstra seize the moment now to inflate their fees and charges as customers flee Optus?

@JJKALE2 To be honest I can't complain about Telstra. Odd hiccup, poor mobile service, good on fixing landline.

.@telstra Hello why when I have global roaming and the extra data pack I’ve paid for do I not get my email when traveling OS? It’s also very slow and I cannot always connect to the internet.

The CEO of Optus was surprising to me, but then again, not. I stupidly changed to Optus about 4 yrs ago.Had nothing but trouble! Drunk & drugged franchise staff! Hopeless net coverage etc. Changed back to Telstra few mths ago. CEO seems very young & TOTALLY out of her depth!

@nineislands I use Moose Mobile. All free calls and texts in Australia and around $16 a month including mobile data. They use the Optus network and are based here in Brisbane so customer service is great. Was previously with Telstra. Hair pulling stuff.

@nineislands We have to use Telstra because the others are worse in our area! Luckily we haven’t had too many issues.

@Optus You didn't answer my question. How long will it take? I'm done. I am leaving optus. I have been a customer for 20 years will be going to telstra or someone else when I have a day off. This is messed up situation and handled very very poorly.

@bustdboozehound @nineislands I do too. Great plan. Everything included. My modem died at home and the family all used the 25gig I'd rolled over to access the internet while I got a new one. They use the Telstra network.

Ditched Optus years ago. Pretty sure the only reason they exist is because our Government gave them exclusive access to Australian infrastructure. No one else is allowed to lay cables down your street. Optus & Telstra are however. It's called a duopoly #auspol

@Markysegarz @JJKALE2 Telstra imho should have been split, the cables/infrastructure held in public ownership, the service part sold off. All the hardware should be public owned.
