@Telstra Not offensive but thank you. And not at all. They issued a new SIM card which will supposedly arrive today and we’ll see if that sorts out the issue. Cheers.

@AlanBixter @JulianBurnside @Telstra Yes, they respond. It’s the next step. Actually getting someone to fix it. Been that path, hasn’t been a joyous one. 😐

@DrKrissyH @JulianBurnside I had a similar experience. Was told house was not connected and never had been. I did offer to send a picture of the Telstra lead-in box, complete with logo, on the outside of house … but instead i had to wait for a technician to visit some days later

@Telstra Ivan, I can't access the tool. Twotter is the only internet based service I can use at all, it must use minimal data. I will DM.

@NBN_Australia When I did get through I was told to call back in business hours at 11am on a Wednesday, 1pm on a Thursday. I was told I needed to employ a technician to fix the problem. Fixed it myself and moved on from Telstra.

@JulianBurnside @noplaceforsheep Sorry to hear that Julian - I had 2 weeks internet disruptions due to a system failure. Not only did I not get the promised discount for loss of service - @Telstra charged me for an ineffective technician visit they insisted on! Anyone else for the Communication ombudsman?

@Telstra @AlanBixter @JulianBurnside Do we need to post on twitter for service? As opposed to waiting on the phone for hours or chatting to some useless unhelpful chat box
