Has anyone actually established that @PRGuy17 was connected to Telstra’s 5g mobile network at the time of creating the account or whether they were just connected to a Telstra IP in general. Either way I don’t see Telstra handing over the records willingly.

  • drivetrucksinoz idrivetrucksinoz (@drivetrucksinoz) reported

@purlenko @OzraeliAvi phones have IMEI numbers attached which registers on the network. Telstras mobile IT system will show which phone IMEI is attached to whatever simple card. same as when you report your phone stolen Telstra will block that IMEI number from being able to be used on any network

@simondotau @PRGuy17 Why do you think Telstra won’t be compelled to hand over customer data if Twitter was?

  • ben14271032 ben (@ben14271032) reported

@simondotau @PRGuy17 But they have established three very important facts @PRGuy17 is indeed 1. a Telstra customer 2. uses an iphone phone 3. uses twitter... Rules me out.. Android / Vodafone. But the net is getting tighter you Telstra iPhone twitter users....

Hi @Telstra; my modem has been showing up as “Your Broadband service is working in backup mode” for the past few months and is incredibly slow. Outage map confirms no interruptions in my area! Can someone please assist.

  • simonwaight Simon Waight (@simonwaight) reported

So @Telstra, security and protection of your customer’s accounts can only be performed “during office hours”? Guess that’s fine because no hacker works outside those hours. Horrendous.

@OzraeliAvi Wow glad you’re thinking your rights are being protected, while I’m reading this thinking - F me what about my rights? A top cybersecurity expert..? Seriously WTF their unprotected Telstra mobile? Retort with intelligence not a cyberattack on an individual.

Both companies saying completely different things to me. Telstra says go into the store as they can't do anything. I go in and the good guys say porting order is stuck. Needless to say I will be cancelling my order and never buying anything from @Telstra or @TheGoodGuysAU 7/7

  • lakeside_farm Lakeside Farm (@lakeside_farm) reported

@Telstra I shouldn't have to buy a booster if telstra provided a better service. Bit like buying a new car but then you have to bring your own battery for it. Seem silly to be honest. Not your fault Angela but if you pass it on who knows

@Telstra My wife is still waiting on a smart watch as part of a package she signed up for last year. No help from Telstra in redeeming it from Samsung, took our money though.
