Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • RodGullickson Rod Gullickson (@RodGullickson) reported

@AmyRemeikis We had issues when it rained, Telstra switched us to a different pair from a nearby pit to the node which is a few blocks away, has been much better. As others suggest, we got a cat6 cable run from where the cable entered the roofspace straight to the modem.

  • oberonsghost Maria, Comrade Ghost (@oberonsghost) reported

@Telstra Thanks and that’s all understood, but is Telstra being at all proactive in involving law enforcement agencies, given that scammers are clogging your network and ripping off some of your most vulnerable customers?

@Telstra Lol yeah but ironically turning everything off at the wall for a few minutes seemed to fix it all. Everything on Telstra TV was taking for ever to load up & it kept dropping out, so yes was weird. Internet on my laptop seems ok this morning & currently watching 7plus . Thanks.

@Telstra they have assured me so frequently that they will help me, it's beginning to sound like desperation...

  • SEdwards0108 Scott Edwards 💉💉💉 (@SEdwards0108) reported

Good morning @Telstra I have just received a text message from Telstra advising of an issue with my home internet and a link to reply. I thought it seemed a bit suss.

  • SallyLawry 💧Sally Lawry (@SallyLawry) reported

@ElianeMayer6 @AmyRemeikis By contacting Telco I had one contact, or Case Manager, who was very helpful . We have had lots of problems with connections and speed . Main problem being old copper wire and distance from the node . Got a good refund as Telstra was simply not providing promised service

  • noreasonspec The Skywalker Chocobo (@noreasonspec) reported

@Telstra informing people of a planned outage after the outage had begun is not good enough. People need to plan around especially with wfh.

  • NettlePot Pam Swanborough (@NettlePot) reported

@Telstra I did spend over 90 minutes on chat with tech support who kept trying to fix this and speaking to second/third line support to try and fix this and not at any point did they say Oh we don't do this any more.

  • NettlePot Pam Swanborough (@NettlePot) reported

@Telstra Hi Sven. it's not going well. First they said i could get international roaming on my prepaid account 🤯 Then they said I could call overseas from Australia🤯 I'm currently retraining your support staff in your own products🤯

@Telstra I want heaps credit for not once using the stream of foul language this situation deserves You know when I lived in the UK my mobile service just went 'Hi I see you're in another country. Have a nice holiday' and zero issues. what is wrong with Testra??
