@GladysB Hey Gladys, if you put customers first, why is your network so consistently ****? Why is Telstra so much better and reliable? Why is your service always down? Oh, and how is that Singtel-Optus electronic spying for the Singapore government going, Gladys?

@Telstra apparently the issue is resolved...bullshit it is! Can't make or receive phonecalls! Not good enough!

@ordsomefarmer @Telstra @Telstra systems are filtering out any complaints about reception. Their automated systems have a bug, and loop to the coverage map that is out of date. The only way to check a service at the moment is through the ombudsman.

Spent 2+ hours on @Telstra Messaging about an issue. I was very dissatisfied with the service so in the end I asked what the complaint process was. I was told I couldn’t complain, that my situation did not warrant a complaint, and I quote “there is no complaint process for you”.

@GladysB What merger? TPG and Telstra are entering into a limited equipment sharing agreement! Nice to see that you have maintained your loose grasp on truth as you transition to the private sector. As an @Optus customer myself, I may have to become an ex-customer soon if this goes on.

@GladysB Thanks! Just changed my mobile carrier to Telstra as your reception sucks in every rural area.

@Telstra No. But when I use the support site to check if the device is protected it says yes on multiple devices (android and iOS). They aren't even weird sites, one is a jewellery site for instance, or I can't use the Twitter app on wifi but can't on 5g. I've rebooted modems and booster

@faully33 Long history. Keating started Optus to create competition for Telecom Australia (now Telstra), in 87. By 90, Telstra had stopped being the slow benevolent monopoly of the past, and become the arsehole monopolist we hate today.
