@bollgare @BurkeHellibee @AlboMP You likely have access to the NBN. It may just be the poor connection types like fixed wireless or satellite. I wouldn't blame you for not wanting either. Starlink may be available to you. As for mobile, talk to Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, etc. Nothing to do with the NBN.

@Telstra Really? If the outage went for many days, would *I* be glad? Or would I expect a professional organisation to have a handle on its inventory & know when an item was about to expire (for no adequately explained reason) and act so as not to inconvenience the customer?

@SophiaMcGrane Maybe they can put a rocket up Telstra’s arse too…no point having high speed NBN if Telstra wind back bandwidth / limit services…my 5G mobile needs to be sitting on top of the Telstra tower to get average service these days. 😾

@StuddertNatalie It's really hard if you need to accept a call. I just got the LINKT SMS scam text for some reason...they probably sold their customer data, or let the script kiddies take it. I hope Telstra fixes this soon!

@LewisHoldenNZ would have been Telstra, but it decided to invest by another means, and ultimately the RMA and Councils made the costs of installing a full third network seem prohibitive
