KT (@kt59601) reported@JustJenKing @woolworths @Telstra Whatever happened to manual transactions that they used to do when eftpos machines first came in? When things went down you would get out a machine, run the card through, add the details and get the customer to sign, send it to the bank. We rely on technology too much.
-
Cath Stuart (@cathstuart68) reported@JustJenKing @woolworths @Telstra Why isn't the government providing emergency food supplies to homeless flood victims who have lost everything?
-
Scott (@scott_thewspot) reported@prleeds @R_Chirgwin But yeah, I like the ota updates telstra keeps providing, but the thought of them shutting of access to a car completely is a bad thing.
-
Lisa Jones (@Lisajones1986L) reported@Telstra I understand the shear amount of damage however this is a safety issue not being able to make/receive calls. It hasn’t been 1 day, it’s been 6 and no one has a solid eta on fixing it.
-
clapz (@Clapz7Oce) reported@Telstra my internet has been down for 5 days please help
-
Kerrie (@kezza512) reportedHey Dutton why are our defence personnel helping Telstra to restore services. I am sure there are things they could be doing for individuals. Your governments support of big business is disgusting and these businesses, if operated well should be able to fix their own problems.

Llewellyn Comms (@llewcom) reported@Telstra I have sent a DM. Am in tweed heads sending work emails and making calls. The map does not show Kingscliff as being impacted by the outage. Would love a clear rather than nebulous explanation. I feel devastated for those in flood affected areas who have no comms at all.
