7 months after informing TELSTRA we are moving and no longer need our land line and NBN service we are still being charged multiple calls emails and 3 visits to a service centre still being charged

I have a @Telstra Bigpond email address (for years) but ever since getting a new @SamsungMobile Galaxy S10, I can't get my bigpond email to work on the App at my local Telstra Shop, that there's a glitch with this, and there's nothing I can do, but webmail. Is this true? Help! 😕

For the past four months I’ve received all correspondence for a Telstra customer called Yanwen Bao. The past week, I’ve had 10 “No Caller ID” phone calls. I answered three of them, all looking for her. @Telstra say I have to negotiate with the caller to have my number removed

@Optus so just called and got to a operator who transfers me and the line gets cut. Good work for a communications company. This poor service is too common with Optus and I’m really looking at taking the family and business back to @VodafoneGroup or @Telstra.

Further to this, you can't speak to anyone at @Telstra Plus. When you call, you tell the AI that you want to speak to someone relating to Telstra Plus and are put through to Disconnections. Must be hoping that those poor souls can save the customer from walking.

@EmCharlotteAnn @Telstra The biggest issue affecting rural communities, especially during fire. Majority of fire risk info is now online, which you can barely access. Power to tower compromised, then you lose comms, putting communities at a higher risk.

@Rawalak_Farms @Telstra We’ve done Starlink too and I love it but it doesn’t solve the issue of no reception in a phone call required emergency. Nor does it solve the issue for our entire area struggling with internet needs outside home areas.

What other businesses do this, I.e. charge a flat rate to everyone but provide poorer service to some? It’s very frustrating, especially when you rely on your phone for your business..

Thanks to their customer service I’m no longer a @telstra customer. But they have sent me an e-mail wanting to confirm my previously authorised account contact person. The trouble when you give your details to these big badly managed companies, they never delete your details.
