    @Telstra 5253. Outage page says nothing. No connection to 4g, only 3g. Messages failing. Been going since 10pm last night.

    @Telstra As a customer, is there any way I can block it? It arrives with no "from" phone number, so I can't block it here. Can I block messages from "numberless" senders? (or is there a rule that forbids telcos from letting customers do that?)

    @MagdaSzubanski I don’t want to jinx it but I haven’t received one. Partner lots. He gets spam of all kinds, me none. I have an iPhone and with Telstra. He has Samsung Android and with Optus. Operating system and network dependent?

    @WendyfWilson @CathBird5 That sucks! They are a nightmare to deal with and charge like wounded bulls. I work with a lot of retired people and do my best to help them move the cheaper companies or at least better plans with Telstra if they have to or want to stay with them. Sorry you’re stuck with them 😢

    @SwoopLuke @HarbourISP Internode, mate. They’re a subsidiary of iiNet, with all customer service located in Adelaide. Good prices, great speeds, never had an issue, even when they were my ADSL2+ provider. They also used to do the WiFi for the MCG before Telstra took over.

    @Telstra How did they get my phone number? I never gave it to them. It's not an ordinary message, either, BC it's not from a number. Why can't subscribers block all messages that aren't from actual phone numbers?

    So working out how I could be suffering from mobile MitM problems seems at least one of my devices may be out of frequency - changes in the area may have pushed it back to 3G. So it & maybe even my modem might connect to (illegal) mobile extenders. Telstra said none in area but,?

    Gotta love telstra, 4 weeks of "go to store" "call on line" "go to store" "call on line". Another 40 min wait only to be hung up on when asking for the manager when they cannot reslove their mistake. Wtf. @testra

    @melbstormrocks @CathBird5 I’m over 60 and still with Telstra because there is no other choice here. I loathe the company and it’s appalling customer service. I’ve had major battles with them over the years. Get legal advice or join one of the legal actions agains mandatory vax.
