Fast forward to this month when @telstra email me to say they’re having a #telstraday & lots of offers. Essentially I get ~$50 off a new phone and plan. Seems good, and I’m fed up of not getting service when I go bush. So I go to the website, order a new phone and plan 3/🧵

Been in SW Queensland for the last few weeks and phone reception out there is absolute shite, I'm with Optus and have had virtually no signal once we left Roma, my wife is with Telstra and while she did have reception most of the time it was 3g at best; but I'm back now....
