@Telstra I cannot reach out because the person who's name it's under is currently overseas so I cannot access the account. I have however troubleshooted the network with IT professionals, an ISP professional and performed every single step that would be provided to me by Telstra support.

  • STEVEFI14205588 STEVE FISCHER (@STEVEFI14205588) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@gomichild Problem is Auspost is like Telstra these days. Difficult to tell which ones are employees or contractor couriers! They can sack a female CEO 1 year over a watch & next year pay male execs $1000's in bonuses. I mean WTAF???

  • RoylanceShelley Shelley Roylance (@RoylanceShelley) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @TraceySpicer @Telstra @NBN_Australia That’s terrible

On Saturday night I have caught a glimpse AFL game. The Ukrainian colors on the score line were a reminder of what virtue signaling POS the AFL is. Almost as bad as Telstra putting stay safe stay home 💩on the mobile devices !

@Telstra @noMercy_19 @Telstra same thing happened to me and the missus trying to buy iPhone 13 outright at Marion shopping centre in adelaide. We waited for ages then got a rude lady and told no stock so we went to Jb-hifi and the girl there was lovely so bought and left happy.

  • AltoCarol Caz (@AltoCarol) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Telstra - your so called Gold VIP help message service is failing miserably. Either employ staff who can understand a basic problem or don't bother. All you've done today is waste my time.

  • STEVEFI14205588 STEVE FISCHER (@STEVEFI14205588) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@scottyisrocky @KleinRevd Back in the day Telstra had a $35 Service Guarantee. We were told not to offer it. Amazing though how people would stop complaining though. Good luck with Services Australia.

  • iammrdom mr dom (@iammrdom) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@BoostAus Question: will 5G access to the Telstra network continue after the trial or will there be a higher charge to stay on 5G?

  • lateniteliamttv Liam (@lateniteliamttv) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Telstra The tips on the page you linked include "have you tried restarting your device?" And the troubleshooting service requires me to login to my Telstra account. The one that's not under my name. And I don't/can't have the details for. 2/10

  • HYP3RSTRIKE Hyper (@HYP3RSTRIKE) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Gotta love Telstra Wholesale techs. Reported to Telstra when we moved in that there's severe damage to the POTS relay near our house. They send someone to prop it up with a stake and some ziplock ties. It falls over again later, same dealio.

  • thebradfitz Brad Fitz (@thebradfitz) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Hello, this is Kevin from Telstra, I hope you’re having a wery wery good day. I see you’re having internet issues. Yes Kevin, I am (proceeds to tell Kevin life story) Beep beep beep… Seems Kevin didn’t want to know my issues

  • STEVEFI14205588 STEVE FISCHER (@STEVEFI14205588) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@VooDooRoo @LPOGroup So many LPO's think that they may earn money only to close down the track. There are plenty of Telstra licensed shops with similar tales.

  • STEVEFI14205588 STEVE FISCHER (@STEVEFI14205588) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@safm_adelaide Might want to say to Mark Soderstrom that having some tolerance, patience & understanding around mobile phone issues might be needed. Particularly when @Telstra pay to advertise on the show literally 10 minutes after his beef about customer service on air 😳 🙄

  • iammrdom Mr Dom (@iammrdom) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@EsotericSpod I’ve been happy with their service and coverage, pretty much identical to full Telstra but you don’t (yet) get VoLTE, instead voice drops back to 3G.

  • kenmaharchitect Ken Mah (@kenmaharchitect) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Our pm is doing a good job with fostering good relations with countries around the region including our pacific neighbours. But? Why do we have to pay Telstra, a private company, to help keep Huawei out? This is not fair competition, it has anti China components and unnecessary.

  • STEVEFI14205588 STEVE FISCHER (@STEVEFI14205588) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@lawrepforjesus @amandajanewd Micro management who use systems & QPI's to spy on you (Every screen is monitored, every device is monitored, if you fail to switch activity codes you get a please explain). Telstra & the banks do the same - they employ people to spy on others. Then they bully you out.

  • iammrdom Mr Dom (@iammrdom) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

I’m stuck thinking about my mobile carrier, so I stay with an Optus MVNO or go to a Telstra ‘full service’ MVNO. It’s complicated. There’s $10 a month in it between the two companies.

  • footyindustryAU sportsindustry (@footyindustryAU) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@johnsonleung @oethesaint @Tenash921 My understanding is that the afl website and associated network are Telstra assets. Telstra recieves all the advertising profit.

  • KateHalena Kate Halena (@KateHalena) reported

@Telstra I can't see my multiple phones listed on the app or internet browser--they've disappeared from my account. I've done all the recommended trouble shooting. What's going on?

  • tradedispensary Trade Dispensary (@tradedispensary) reported

@ahmhealth @bkwcz Had the same issue. Now back in Oz for a few weeks & still can't get anyone on the line. Tried online but of course, if u want to cancel a policy, u need to call. After 46min on hold, I get a message from Telstra saying I'd used all of my call minutes for the month then disconnected.

C’mon @telstra, second day in a row your signal is failing at the @ausgrandprix

  • MillinBear Millin Bear+FSD helping you profit from AI (@MillinBear) reported

I am too lazy to proof read and edit the below from grok, we had a chat in the car and below is the direct output for a post from grok, 85% my intent but could use some polish… (it gave me 3x image prompts, images from grok attached are also not proofed.) - enjoy: Why Starlink Roam Falls Flat in Australia (And How to Fix It) Honest opinion: Starlink Roam is brilliant on paper—$80 a month for 100GB priority data, perfect for caravans, motorhomes, or pros working on the go in the outback. But in reality? It’s poop for mobile use. Australia’s endless trees, dense bushland, and tunnels (think Bruce Highway or any regional drive) block the line-of-sight to satellites constantly. You’re crawling along at zero bars half the time, burning data elsewhere or offline entirely. Great for static campsites, useless in motion. The glaring hardware oversight: No LTE/cellular failover. Starlink Mini (or next-gen) should’ve shipped with an eSIM slot for Australian carriers like Telstra or Optus. When sats fail, auto-switch to 4G/5G local network as a hotspot—seamless, like your phone. Caveat: ACMA spectrum rules (IMT bands for terrestrial mobile) might need carrier partnerships, but it’s doable—Telstra/Optus already partner with Starlink for direct-to-device sat-to-phone using those bands. NBN fixed-wireless modems do exactly this: SIM failover when fibre/cable drops, approved under existing regs. If it’s green for NBN, it should be for Starlink Roam. Pricing fix for AU market: Base $19 add-on for up to 10% cellular failover (10GB on the $80 plan), covering Starlink’s wholesale data costs. Double to $38 for 100% cellular option if you’re in eternal tree hell. Keeps it affordable, competitive with eSIM hotspots, and actually usable. Starlink, take notes—Gen3 Mini or beyond, make it hybrid. Aussie travellers deserve better. What do you reckon? Roll it out! [Image 1: Insert here after intro] Grok prompt: Photorealistic image of a Tesla Model Y parked under dense Australian eucalyptus trees in outback Queensland, with a Starlink Mini dish on the roof struggling for signal—show obstructed sky view, frustrated driver checking phone, red dust road nearby.

  • Sriramcse31 Sriram Narayanarao (@Sriramcse31) reported

Customer care asked me to recharge roaming packs, validity packs, and top-ups, but none work because the SIM cannot connect to any network here (Telstra, Optus, Vodafone AU).

  • con_nikitas Con Nikitas (@con_nikitas) reported

  • con_nikitas Con Nikitas (@con_nikitas) reported

@Telstra what the hell is happening with out internet in Caulfield, ppl do WFH and rely and bloody pay for this pathetic service that does not work

  • RickGainsmith Rick Gainsmith (@RickGainsmith) reported

The @NBN_Australia has costed Australian Taxpayers $3727 per connection ($32 billion). You can get connected to @Starlink for free. What can you do to help with Government waste? Today I cancelled @Telstra nbn.
