Joshua McKinnon (@corduroy) reported from Blaxland, New South WalesIs Telstra mobile really crap in the Mountains, or is it because I’m using a cheap reseller? I can rarely watch a 3m video without massive pauses, even with 2-3-4 bars of reception.
-
Chris Bowen (@TheBowen) reported from Wilberforce, New South Wales@alborzfallah @trevorlong @PaulMaric @Telstra I think you better talk to Paul. I sense there’s mini crisis in the CarAdvice office about phones. Hope the bosses can fix it. #prayforcaradvice

The Apostropher Royal (@GrammarTsar) reportedTelstra didn't just wait a bit too long to replace servers. They were 10 years beyond their maintenance life. And I'll bet all the senior managers got bonuses for driving costs down & profits up by not replacing them. #Insiders

Benjamin (@BDollisson) reported@Telstra Single worst company to deal with in Australia.
-
Giordano Bruno (@hellenomania) reported@NetworkChuck Hi mate Australia just had its national network carrier Telstra go down because it lost time Sync. SOmething I know you would be interested in with server time sync videos in the past.
-
Justin (@Justin065241190) reported@Telstra Your network up time is commendable. All the experts here in the comments don’t understand the complexity and that sometimes mistakes happen.

💧Rodent. #Goyim. UpScrolled @Thornintheside (@SchoonerLita) reported@jaraparilla @TimLooker @ABCaustralia Same, Telstra always had tidy cabling and the best server rooms. Everything was planned and well thought out. All the others had either ups issues or suffered from old gear or spaghetti cabling. I believe they're buried in OHS these days, too hard to access.
-
UndoubtedlyDoubtful (@undbtlydoubtful) reported@WInsufficientia @Totally4yeah @PaulBongiorno Aside: My understanding is you should never privatise a natural monopoly. So Telstra or Transgrid, SECV etc would fall into that category. Banks probably ok as numerous.
-
Abul Rizvi (@RizviAbul) reported@michaeljames947 Telstra is an 800lb gorilla. It was never going to be possible to keep them behaving properly. That was the case from day 1 when the govt & Telstra were at legal loggerheads. Then they took govt to the cleaners over the NBN saga.
