@JennaPrice @Optus I get many scam calls. Was with Telstra now with Optus. No difference in number of calls. At the end of 2019 I changed electricity provider from Momentum to Alinta. I think Alinta sells customer data.

  • Jagermeester Erik (@Jagermeester) reported

I switched to Telstra end of last year, thinking it was the superior network in Australia. My work phone is on the Vodafone network and usually gets better speeds and reception. Not staying with Telstra after my year, that’s for sure.

  • gcoving GAC76 (@gcoving) reported

@Telstra Text is probably best. The @Telstra supplied network does not support telephone calls at the moment with any clarity.

  • gcoving GAC76 (@gcoving) reported

@Telstra No Evie, there are no known outages at my address. So you are just choosing to deny us what we pay for. What is it called when you charge someone and do not supply them? Oh right, Fee For No Service.

  • RoadknightThe TheRoadknight (@RoadknightThe) reported

    2. I repeated all of my complaints from previous correspondence. Back they come again saying they're now going to refer it to their 'technical department' for investigation. This was done months ago with Telstra saying it was 'a known poor reception area' and.../3

@Telstra It shows bill date issue even on app but then says it's paid

  • tuppaware Adam Ware (@tuppaware) reported

@Jagermeester Really depends on where you live. Here Telstra is far better, voda 5g is really bad.

  • RoadknightThe TheRoadknight (@RoadknightThe) reported

    3. ...they 'refused to upgrade the tower to deliver speeds of 2 to 50mbps advertised'. Telstra seeks to wear down those who complain with re-tracing its steps, asking for information it already has, performing investigations it already has. It's corporate bullying. /4

@Telstra Hey Ash, thanks for replying… I just thought that a call from one device to another in the AU network would be discernible to one that originated from another country. Phone call packets contain the foreign country of origin, yet with a local number aliased aren’t filtered ?

  • the_LoungeFly Arioch (@the_LoungeFly) reported

@Telstra @OnceWereRadical How are you stopping a call with a fake alias number making a call? Are the nodes/exchange’s validating the end to end call traffic? These two types of scams are automated and both give the scammers the signal that the target numbers are active.
