@Telstra Yes it has 4G and that is sooooooo slow - or was yesterday and today the NBN is back by mainly very slow - occasionally it picks up. Been like that all day in district 2089! The slaves are going at half pace....

@Telstra I never thought it was foolproof, my point is that the calls have increased in the last fortnight.

@Ben_Searle @mickmurray23 Yeah agreed. Most is 15 sec or even 2 X 15 secs then mid and post roll ads but that's fine on 30 mins to hour long content. When we started selling to Telstra/AFL they never saw the potential of ads in podcasting now I see ads everywhere and saturation.

@whophd @DavidBe53174057 @PhillipQuirk4 I would suggest it's important to separate performance of Telecom/Telstra itself from the provision of a public telecommunication service. Once upon a time every Australian residence had a right to a phone service. Now you have to pay.

@IanSyson @phil_withall They're fantastic if you own your phone. Uses the Telstra network. I have unlimited calls and text, insane amount of overseas calling and more data than I can use (any I don't use gets saved) for 25 bucks a month!

So after all that faffing about it actually works with @Telstra now and I'm too tired of this to actually try transferring anywhere else. But generally eSIMS seem to be beyond the capabilities of Australian Telcos to actually support.

@Telstra Yesterday there were Testra works happening that affected the NBN connection - are they still ongoing? Slow progress on internet - had to put everyone on Vodafone - will get the test going shortly - but pointless if the ongoing works are still under way?

@Telstra My previous reply deleted after taking so long to get through on the network. Yes it has 4g and it kicked in and was sooooooooooo slow I put everyone on Vodafone. That was yesterday - today its still slow and variable - so right now its unusable and everyone is back on vodafone
