No wonder @Optus had a data breach. Same company cannot supply full strength internet or phone line for over a week. So called help line incompetent. Technician baffled. Blame game has started with @NBN_Australia. @Telstra here I come.

@Telstra I’ve called the Faults Team and they said wait 24 hours. Red/Orange mobile signal light for the mobile network. I can’t believe it cannot be escalated. Everyone else I know is up in 5-15 minutes.

@extremely_wet @lochlanrocks another way to look at it is that you're guaranteed to get one when you opt for a plan. Instore stock is much better than it was, but theres still areas where retailers are waiting weeks for more to come in - this doesnt seem to be an issue with telstra/vodafone etc etc

@Telstra Upset again…. Swapped from Velocity Network to Opticomm as part of upgrade. Technician left with no internet and said call Telstra. 24 hours for activation I’m told when working from home. Was not advised before migration. Neighbour had a 5 minute outage. Not happy.

@GrahamY You are a knuckle head, Howard insisted Abbott buy the copper back from Telstra and wrote in to future access to the national system contracts that the copper must be used. Everything was hobbled to slow the terrestrial internet down. Do some reading

@Telstra So I just spent 50min with your tech Support team ... who kept sending pro forma cut and paste responses on how to set up MacMail ... with out even reading my problem statement where I provided them with confirmation that my mail client settings were identical with Telstra's recs

@EnergyWrapAU @GrahamY Very few people realise that Telstra (once Govt owned) sold the copper network (pillar to house) BACK to NBNCo (Govt).

@BrowntownBrew @LordSoth123 From people I knew in Telstra, they weren't actively recording individual line conditions proactively. They waited until customers complained their service was shite. This data would have confirmed how poor the copper was and not in LNP interests of course.
