Tony (@tonyvibo) reported@Mr_Fanta_Pants @jagjetfly @Telstra You’re not the only one in the Southern Phone pulling the landline plug problem in rural areas boat either. Last hope, chat to your local Federal MP’s office and get them involved in a solution.

Sven (@Sydneyberlin) reported@robb_j_m It is outrageously slow and expensive, and I’m not talking about Telstra and the likes only. But most Aussies will defend it regardless these days because they don’t know any better. And here you have it: This is why we/they re-elected such a government!

Will G (@willgotsis) reported@Gatty54 Same thing happened to us few years ago. Telstra, JB Hi-Fi, lucky it was all at like 3am and our bank put a hold on our card (debit card). We found out it was a girl in reception at a hotel we paid for. We confirmed details with her of card over phone. Never again. Ours was $9K.

Loftwah (@loftwah) reportedWent from $200 a month for Telstra to $55 a month with Aldi Mobile, which given our location is practically the same network and performance level as what we had before. It is so easy to bleed money without realising.

Chuck Stone (@chuckastone) reported@AussieVal10 It took Telstra, a lot of gold sold at record low prices by an idiot treasurer, and who-knows-what-else, to pay off that $96 billion. It's never about productivity; always about short-sighted asset fire sales in this country, and it needs to stop.
