@meggsiek @Telstra customer care is well short of acceptable. My complaints were ended without telling me and promises made and then rescinded.

@elisdee_one @Telstra I've had both Google Nest (since day one) and Amazon's Show but Alexa is just stupid compared to the much more natural sounding Google Assistant.

@benhoad @Telstra 25mbps cap is not unexpected — that's what I pay for on the (now) inferior Velocity network in South Brisbane. The bigger issue is the price differential (which would get worse if I decided to pay for the best available Velocity plan which is still slower than LTE.)

@Telstra That’s why I feel so patronised, I clearly told them I’m not the only one having an issue, yet they ask me to turn my phone off then on!

@meggsiek @Telstra different provider but i had the same experience with nbn repeatedly a while back. Entire local area down for several days, and they would insist on treating it as "drop outs" at my address. Infuriating.

@rmcq @Telstra My mobile plan is only 20GB/mth but I (almost) never use it and the plan I'm on rolls it over indefinitely. Which is why I said 'effectively' unlimited. There's now almost no chance I'll run out of data on mobile.

I recently upgraded my phone through my provider and now, instead of a single bill, Telstra direct debit me once for the service, a second time on a different day for the handset and then send me a postpaid bill for my Xbox. As you can imagine it's *super* convenient.
