@Jane_L_Kennedy @Telstra I should also point out that the @CommBank weren't much help either, as they never called him to say some random person was trying to take $19,000 out of his account and never bothered to refund the money for their negligence

  • _TimMcMahon
Tim McMahon (@_TimMcMahon) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@vertikar @NBN_Australia @Telstra I received an SMS later to expect 4 days of no internet. 💀 I've got a backup service running at full speed through another telco. Best not to put all our eggs in one basket if nbn HFC and Telstra mobile are both unusable while WFH. 🥵 Fortunate that there's overlapping coverage.

@Telstra Thanks, but if the Samsung store is unable to resolve this issue in their store I don't think Telstra can. I will continue my discussions with Samsung and hopefully get a refund on this S22 and go back to an iPhone.

  • TizmWorld
Tizm™ (@TizmWorld) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@Telstra I walk into a store to buy a phone today and I was told you won't accept my money until at least the first to second week of April. As a customer for over 10 years, this is the worst service ever.

  • TimothyJ_23

  • marbledspout

Shall I discuss invoices sent by Telstra without identifying which service I was paying for ? Or the self populating services I was paying Optus?

  • MitchRobinson_
Mitch Robinson (@MitchRobinson_) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@bkubel That’s Telstra, did #StayHome March last year then #StaySafe most of the last year or so, and updated to #LetsVaxx around like June. So far as I know it’s on all phones they support

  • _TimMcMahon

6.32 Mbps down and 15.3 Mbps up when I use a SIM card for a different telco in my Smart Modem. Telstra 4G backup SIM card is too slow. 0.16 Mbps. Dialup speeds. 😱

  • VeteranDave

Asking for @telstra help from my Twitter friends. I wasted 3 hours with their help service on Friday. Cannot view Kayo footy because download speed is too slow. Recent occurrences. My question. HTF do you get someone to come to your house and fix it? Is that still possible? 😡

@_benny4 To be fair Telstra is the only “reliable” service in the bush. But yes, now at least they should explore Starlink

  • RebelNews_AU
    Rebel News Australia (@RebelNews_AU) reported

🚨 Labor Government Says It’s Time for Telstra to ‘Face the Music’ for Not Putting Australians First Communications Minister Anika Wells said the Labor government will hold Telstra to account following a network outage that she said had made the last few days “really difficult for many Australians.” She said Telstra must demonstrate it is reliable and puts Australians first. Critics have argued the Labor government is also responsible for the disruptions to Australian's lives as a result of the network outage.

  • Qldaah
    David Marler (@Qldaah) reported

Telstra is a great Australian company to work for. I've worked there. You want Telstra to be the very best. The problem from the worker side is getting those technical improvements up through the layers of management. I suspect this is a factor in the current outage. #auspol

  • Phillip58377964
    PJ (@Phillip58377964) reported

@MikeCarlton01 @Telstra Hmmm well they are descended from the Post Master General in 1975 when they became Telecom, then privatised in 2006 and became Telstra. They haven't really screwed up since that time. Customer service may be abyssmal but the national framework has operated well in a big country.

  • ausnotes
    Powell's Other Glasses (Ausnotes) 🌸 (@ausnotes) reported

@88888sAccount Best to wait till Telstra or the NBN is down again and then really rub it in the face.

  • shionrespecter
    ImoutoImperium (@shionrespecter) reported

@caracal_fandom A privatised Telstra didnt fail to build broadband, Sol Trujilio went to John Howard and asked if he could build the network in exchange for having a monopoly and Howard couldn't or wpuldn't approve it.

  • KeithSutho_OAM

Just another @LiberaAus MP who thinks they can use the terrible Telstra outage as a point scoring issue because leader Angus Taylor will support them 👎🤬😈 #auspol

Telstra faces outage investigation as expert says legal gaps may let it off- abc The debate when Telstra was privatised was it was a critical piece of Australia’s security, should not be on private hands. This reinforces the case. Thank you Barnaby

@MikeCarlton01 @Telstra There is a lot of ignorance in this feed.., I’m not an expert but I know more than the average Joe Telstra has likely got the best technology and infrastructure and IT. Better IMHO that the other full service telcos These networks are incredibly complex 1/2
