It's come down over the years but the convenience of an esim when travelling is pretty cool. Still expensive if you just use the Apple provider interface.

Also convinced my elderly neighbour same bullshit and deal with NBN.BLOODY SCAM

Optus does very well vs Telstra in regional these days.
