@WeekOnWednesday @mariewalsh18 Fun times. I’ve been waiting on @Telstra to fix their f*ckup for 6 months now. Unstable internet as a Virtual Assistant means I’ll lose my business because I’ve run out of savings to live on and have lost multiple clients to their incompetence.

hey @telstra, could you update your mobile bill you send to people to include the total data used - this way we can migrate down to smaller plans where we arent going close to the data on the current plan. Included but no total - to avoid exactly that?

One advantage of this asymmetric routing was that any customer doing a traceroute to find out why their Quake pings sucked so badly would see the generally direct Telstra hops, not whatever weirdly circuitous route it took their packets to get back to them.

@stilgherrian @BoomerDea Resellers like Boost can't offer it because the wholesalers like Telstra refuse to support it for them. So all consumers will probably lose out, forced back onto legacy telcos. I also wonder whether telcos in most non 1st world countries will now move to eSims, I doubt it.
