@Telstra may I just say how frustrating it is to accomplish simple tasks via your silly chat system in the app, a simple messagebank change should not take 2 months of waiting days for a reply, then when I reply being kicked back to the bot! Fix it or answer calls! #TelstrFail

@KWF @misullivan Because of people who think pinging a core router is a good idea. It happened at Telstra with the CRS-1 roll out, and caused a PR issue because of the rate limiting. While it’s not sensible, people do it, and a tiny amount of extra hardware in the forwarding ASIC would fix it.

  • 7RockLists 7RockLists (@7RockLists) reported

Anyone care to share some of their phone/Internet bills costs. I went to @Optus b/c @Telstra were ****. Started well. No recent plan, they are charging $367 for 5 phones (not the latest) and Internet (that is NOT unlimited). So much for family plan. $60 per device?

  • emmadaboutlife emma (@emmadaboutlife) reported

@mindev_ telstra shut it down in 2019 :(

  • stilgherrian Stilgherrian (@stilgherrian) reported

@michaelneale @Telstra This is all quite weird. If other customers were experiencing this then surely there’d be acknowledged faults all over the place. Fwiw I have an iPhone 12 Pro and the current iOS release. But the problems started first thing Monday morning, not when software changed.

  • jen_browning Jen Browning (@jen_browning) reported

I’ll vote for whoever can sort comms on my farm, @Telstra now out for 3 days with no eta of restoration & there’s a national outage of our satellite wifi @Activ8mesocial so I have left home to my MIL. To not have a way of dialling 000 from home is outrageous. @elonmusk

  • DrCnfzd Nigel Wehr (@DrCnfzd) reported

So nbn... 100% increase in landline cost, 400% increase in data/internet cost. Telcos dont give a **** about pensioners, all they care about is profit, dont you @Telstra #rippoff #CostOfLivingCrisis #pensions

  • sean_reynolds_ Sean Reynolds (@sean_reynolds_) reported

@missfit22627816 @MeckeringBoy @HuffPostPol Then, surprise! Malcolm Turnbull announced the new crippled NBN Co with replacement Telstra executives on the board were buying back all the obsolescent coax holdings of Optus and Foxtel for a further $10 billion to provide a network at one-tenth of the speed of fibre.

  • SuperMario343 MrTron (@SuperMario343) reported

@imfallfromgrace @Telstra Unless you have 10Gbps internet speeds, you'll never see the full potential of Wi-Fi 6.

  • DrCnfzd Nigel Wehr (@DrCnfzd) reported

@Telstra The existing copper network is being retired. If your internet plan is on that network, you’ll need to switch over to an nbn plan. If you choose not to move over to the nbn, your phone and internet services will be disconnected as mandated by the Australian Government and nbn.

  • DerekDeedok Derek McCord (@DerekDeedok) reported

@Spitb0x @wbuxtonofficial Australian companies help support Australian drivers though, look at Webber who for the longest time had Telstra or Fosters sponsorship. Plus he was also backed by Paul Stoddart after the Benetton deal fell through.
