Thorson *🏆 (@nathanthorson) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@DarrenKilminst1 @Mr_Brown__ @OptusSport I already pay enough for streaming. With Optus Sport I got it as part of my phone plan so never had to pay extra.
-
Chad (@ChadT_82) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@vesh88 Maybe Netflix will be the loser for AL fans. I think people will drop Netflix and take up Stan, then the addition of Stan Sport won’t be too bad. But yeah, please go to Optus instead

Maurice B (@BMOUSA1) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

For about a week now I’ve been getting texts up to 12 hours after they’re sent (@Optus). Is that, you know, likely to just fix itself ...?
-
Kate Browne (@KateBrowne7) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
Hey @Optus I cannot make calls without the voice cutting out every few seconds on the call at both ends. Are you having an outage in inner west of Sydney? Thanks.

Bradley Deacon (MAISA)🇦🇺 (@BradleyWDeacon) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
Great service @Optus for my home Internet, it’s a massive improvement compared to what I experienced with @Telstra I can now connect less than 24 hours from placing order and saving $30 per month! #winwin
-
Michael Turner (@realmicturner) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@sgardz91 A lot. The Waratahs are crap, the Reds are playing well. Sonny Bill is a pundit and figures are up. What’s evident is you have no idea what you are talking about if you genuinely think somehow Optus will have a higher national reach than Australia’s largest TV/Media network.
-
Sunny Sok (@sokyola87) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@KevinAirs I have been with Optus for 20 years, never have I ever gotten reception at a stadium with Optus unless it was when I got to the stadium early enough before the start of the match or concert or the crowd was a small number of under 10K
-
Huezee (@66Hughesy) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Optus is there an outage at postcode 2084
-
Jarrod McCloughan (@jazza1983) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
Hi @VodafoneAU Why is reception so poor around Burwood and Strathfield in Sydney? I struggle to get data or a text message out. My contract is expiring soon and I’m shopping around with the smaller guys. You have been better than Optus though!
-
Michael McGrath (@MichaelJMcGr) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Optus dismayed, frustrated and disappointed. Attempted to connect to internet service yesterday: three hours on phone, sent back to store to get a new SIM card. Then told due to @Optus upgrades #internet not available until April 25th. How can this be an acceptable level?
-
OnlyPhazz (@phazzles) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
Network connectivity at Mardi Gras is spotty at best @Telstra @Optus @VodafoneAU
-
Joan Wilder (@thepiedwanderer) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@Optus Lol. Clearly you have read this thread closely...I am thinking of changing services TO @Optus. Am starting to wonder if all AU providers do is blanket responses rather than customer service.
-
〰️Johnny Sockz 🗨 😷〰️ (@johnnysockz) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

-
Blake Currall (@bcurrall80) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
So my Optus 4G mobile phone is currently running at a solid 30Mb/Sec but the home broadband, also Optus 4G, is running at a bloody terrible 451kB/Sec. What the ever living **** is this nonsense?

@alisoncroggon As I am also an Optus customer I await..
-
Nathaniel Gritzman (@cynical_centre) reported
@troyhunt Was it worth the problem is the right question. However, to whom? Cost from this point forward will be to those whose data has been breached. As this won't cost Optus... Why should they care? Potential profits from hoarding data are huge. Costs of breach negligible to Optus.
-
confudled individual (@confudled) reported
@Optus Ohhh this am isn’t going to go down well
-
𝙹𝚘𝚕𝚢𝚘𝚗 𝙰𝚗𝚜𝚞𝚣 (@jolyonansuz) reported
@simone_au @Optus Yeah I know, consider sunk cost fallacy and split. Give them nothing else. Bad relationship, leave it.

So @VicRoads are you accepting driver licence cancellations and re-issues for those affected by the @optus data breach?
-
celerysorbet (@CelerySorbet) reported
@unfnknblvbl @joshgnosis Of course! But ransomware ransoms are paid by companies all the time. That Optus hasn't even sent a team to check this person out and what they are saying, and for such a tiny price, is telling. It's obvious these are Optus customer's records.
