@Telstra That I (and every other Telstra customer at the game) experiences congestion is self evident. My question was why the so-called “premium” network seems to have the worst experience of this. Other networks (@Optus and even @VodafoneAU) are more useable at these events.

I need something for my awful 3G/4G cell tower issue where I am mostly getting SOS level signals… I’m right in the middle of an area where three towers don’t overlap. Have to use wifi calling. When the modem goes down every few days (Optus NBN) I go into a comms hole

@Telstra It improves when I go into the city. It seems to be a signal issue in Brunswick! I would normally say it may be something to do with the walls/building but as Optus works perfectly fine I can’t see that being the issue!

Optus is such an awful Australian ISP. Routing to international countries is awful resulting in 300ms to Asia, dropouts are common and they dont even update their network outage pages on their website. My address has apparently had reduced service due to a 'fault' for months now.

Had a SUSPECTED SPAM number contact me last night, saying they urgently needed to contact the homeowner of an address I lived at 14 years ago, and I realised that as I get no paper bills I'd not updated my address with Optus in that much time, so the hackers got bad info from me!
