    hey @newscomauHQ saw your article on @Optus about their incompetency and the hecking! They told me I wasn’t hacked and then a month later told me I was! Being trying to find a resolution and they are useless. Reach out if you want the story!

    @EVillainess @markrayfield2 @Jeremy_Kirk Better check the ACMA carrier legislation and then the audit requirements. 👍 Optus have failed to maintain customer privacy. Failed to secure the private data AND have failed to protect data IMO this was a deliberate act from cabal to force a cyber security event in the future.

    @Optus @glendat45 My house burnt down 14 months ago and they charged me for not returning the fetch box. That burnt along with it. Impossible to get any service from them. Hope it gets sorted out soon for you.

    @TheSportsFreak @OptusStadium That’s really poor I did agree with your point about the WACA the only tests that should be played at Optus are Ashes and India They probably should have given perth a South African tests given the expat population as well

    @Yeahbutnaahh @Optus Optus informed me last week that my Australian passport number has been compromised. Narrator: James didn't have an Australian passport when he was an Optus customer. He is confused.

    tbh private health insurance shouldn't even exist (neither should private telecommunications - looking at you optus) and should be shut down immediately as they've proven they can't be trusted with our data, but that's another story /rant over

    @haruki_zaemon @Optus I’ll try again when I upgrade my phone (which arrives in a couple of weeks). That will include shifting to a new 5G plan, which will hopefully fix the weirdness.

    After telling the optus chat line that my house had burned down and that I had tried repeatedly to get the nbn cancelled (which I am still paying for), she asked me, and I kid you not, if I had tried turning it off and turning it back on again. I…I don’t know how to answer.

    @TGUZ72 @Optus That’s one thing about hiring people to provide front line support when they are not adequately equipped to work through issues. Sometimes that will result in someone letting out more information than they should.

    @Optus No I completely understand the strain on couriers. That’s not the issue here. You guys haven’t even SENT the order yet. You haven’t given it to the couriers. Not packing and sending an order in 4 business days is ridiculous for a company your size.

    @Telstra after spending an hour today on the phone (including getting hung up on twice) with unhelpful techs in India ... nothing. No resolution, no apology for this lack of service. I guess time for a TICO complaint and try an Optus prepaid SIM and see if their coverage is better

    @Optus Customer of 23 years. Tuesday you cancelled my email account, Thursday you cancelled phone and internet accounts. I’ve made over x12 calls/chats to fix this issue. You cant even find my account. I’ve been promised a call back x3 and never got one REF 100975147 #optus

    @sackers1 @JamesSaretta We just moved the family away from ALDI mobiles family plan. Service had degraded significantly towards end of last year. Went to Optus’s family plan which is a bit more $$$ but 5G and more data. It gave me the idea to go for a 5G plan at home as we’re about to have cable cut

    @Kate3015 Albo, as NBN minister, got a report from NBNCo detailing delays, cost over runs, cost of upgrading the Optus network they bought for too much $. Election coming up, Albo sat on it. Lost election, then blasted NBN minister Turnbull for the shambles that NBN had become.

    @ohnoletsgocrazy @Optus I've been with Optus since 2007 & prefer not to do direct debit for this precise reason. Just upgraded with them & was forced to set up direct debit & then, voila! Month 1 & they've taken 2 payments for the same bill. Pretty angry as such a loyal customer.

    @Se77Evans My NBN was so **** I abaondoned it, but now I pay through the roof for a 500G, 5g or 4g account through @OPTUS and the cost is killing me. We always go over. And now it is almost as unreliable anyway :(

    Very disappointed with the service with @Optus. Someone cancelled my order without any notice but still sending me the 5G modem. WTH
