@lavosaurus Ooh that’s sick! Someone told me to complain about my wifi being shit (Optus as well) and they’ll give me free stuff, so maybe I do both and get all the benefits haha

  • gb7004
greg bradley (@gb7004) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

Dear @Optus you are a disgrace, cancel my ADSL as I am signed up to NBN well I would be but still waiting for a modem from you from 10th Oct, rang help desk and Annika CB690949 was going to ring me back in 10/15 minutes 40 minutes.

  • AlexJSmithy
Alex Smith (@AlexJSmithy) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@Telstra Matthew, thanks for the offer but @Telstra mobile coverage is so poor at my house that extra data is not much use. In fact I have to rely on wificalling to use the mobile. Fortunately our other mobiles are on @Optus which has great coverage.

  • AlexJSmithy
Alex Smith (@AlexJSmithy) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@Telstra It has a yargi rooftop antenna. Installer says the issue is alignment of distant cells and jumping from one to other and dropping out. Have 4 bars on Optus.

@FearbySoftware Optus for over 20 years.. Never had a problem.. Fingers crossed

@Optus DM sent. I’m not sure you can help. I was simply told I should have read my contract better.

I’m so disappointed with your service tonight @Optus, chatted with 3 people who disconnected on me 3 times, I just called & the guy said he cldn’t access my details to call back in 2hrs. We haven’t been able to get connection. #nothappy

  • WhiplashUnited

Can’t even watch a five minute video because .@optus is useless. Worse still it’s NBN.I pay $85 month for a failing service. Rort.

  • brandonlung_
brandon (@brandonlung_) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@lavosaurus Oh shit that’s decent! A while back I saw Optus doing a specia that was $40 for 80gb, so that’s what I’m realllly hoping for eventually. Also just realised my plan ends in October so your way might be able to happen sooner than later haha

  • JaseSmith78
Jase Smith (@JaseSmith78) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@GaryNunn1 Aldi mobile uses the Telstra network without the Telstra price... but not sure if it supports things like multi devices or Apple Watch - I put my husband on $35 Optus plan (plus $15 to link iPad and the watch was free for the first year) with 30gb

  • gb7004
greg bradley (@gb7004) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@Optus Dear @Optus I havre tried and spent over 15 hours trying to sort this out, including your ‘help’ desk which does nothing, as you can see from the images all you people do is lie

  • mycrouch
Jason Crouch (@mycrouch) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@Optus Bit hit and miss. If I turn airplane mode on and off it reconnects just fine. I’ve also reset my phones network settings. It’s happened a couple of times today. I’ll monitor it.

  • debmberger
Deb Berger (@debmberger) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

@Optus Thank you. It’s a pity your chat help couldn’t check this. Or at least advise me to look at it. I was asked to reset my phone, remove my SIM card, change various settings. Each of these solutions were suggested multiple times despite advising none of them corrected the issue.

Watching Liverpool this morning on Optus Miss 12 walks down the hall waking from her slumber and spots the Nike Ad. “Look Dad!, it’s @samkerr1!!”

  • davidjfindlay
David Findlay (@davidjfindlay) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

Good work @Optus I recommended you to my father, but after buying a SIM he’s spent hours failing to get it activated via your automated customer anti-service system which is apparently designed to thwart victims from getting to speak to a person. Never recommending you again.

  • david_odonoghoe
David O'Donoghoe (@david_odonoghoe) reported from Brisbane, Queensland

dearest @optus , I phoned you, and asked to be put through to the customer retention team. So far, I have been transferred 4 times, and am now on hold.. after being told that the wait time will be 15 minutes. #optus

@cathywilcox1 @Optus I hope they're a having a good hard look at themselves after loosing my phone 18 days ago, and refusing me a loan phone, refusing to suspend my network access charges and refusing to replace the original handset, which was still under warranty

I am in southern rural Victoria and I have good Optus 5G coverage here so everything goes through my mobile phone to my computers and TV and it is 250mbs inside the house and 300 to 400 mbs outside, if I ever move to an area where only NBN fixed wireless is available I wont be touching it as it is slow and costs a fortune, I'll be getting star link

  • acsmith54

@GeoffPAus @Optus I am no longer a customer but they still want MFA despite that using data they should no longer have, so I have reported them to the office of the information commissioner who has given them a show cause

  • bozwhite
    Boz (@bozwhite) reported

@optus_help Will let that customer know when they receive July bill they should not get charged. They kept paper bill before they had attempt by Optus for NBN when NBN hadn't been installed. They got a refund after initial charge

  • KoiGaz

@ALeighMP @acccgovau Now hang on hypocrite Why dont you hold the government to same same standards as optus? The gov is ripping off the people everyday with high energy prices..high taxation...wasteful spending leading to more taxation...you need to do alot better!👎👎

  • AndiC1
    Andi Csontos (@AndiC1) reported

@optus_help @Optus I’d accept this but I can be standing still in the Main Street of Berry and not have service. And there are plenty of towers around Coniston.

  • ScipioSubutai
    Subutai Scipio (@ScipioSubutai) reported

@optus_help @JamieDoer I have been getting extra charges for using Optus data (which I am not using). I called on phone and online but your customer service people appear too simple minded to understand that I DO NOT USE OPTUS DATA! I watch Optus sports using data from another provider.

@GuyFawkesRetro I remember Cartoon Network on Optus Vision back in the mid to late 90s. So many Hanna Barbera classics played on there. The Cartoon Network originals were fine, but I enjoyed the Flintstones, Jetsons & Tom & Jerry more.
