When I ported from vids phone on the iPhone 12, I just activated via the app. Same deal with the 14PM. Just had to phone to get them to issue a new eSim to the app (transfer phone to phone didn’t work)

Telstra would have been a big slow behemoth that got pants’d by Optus and Vodafone. Our gas wouldn’t have been developed - it took 15 years from sale to production. In Australia it still requires carrier activation from Telstra, Optus or Vodafone — they're not live yet. Rollout still looking like mid-to-late 2026. Toggle should appear in Messages once your carrier enables it.
