I…I don’t know how to answer.
-
ScubaSteve (@fanaticeel) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@peter__kay I think many will abandon Optus. At least the state governments have agreed to allow people to change their licences however that doesn't help those who used their passports. I hope it doesn't happen but someone could lose a lot of money
-

I twice had to call to cancel, going through the whole process twice. I was asked to reset my phone, remove my SIM card, change various settings. Each of these solutions were suggested multiple times despite advising none of them corrected the issue.
-
Todd Hacking (@todd42246896) reported from Brisbane, QueenslandHey @Optus - I’m so annoyed. The service I’ve received is beyond appalling. I have a personal account and recently changed the business account to you but I’m told your crm system can’t differentiate or create two distinct entities - causing confusion and mix ups. It’s 2021!
-
Bonshaquita’lafondria (@Flansq) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@_marty_k Ugh. No thank you. I haven’t used a SimCard at all since I moved to Optus. Just had to phone to get them to issue a new eSim to the app (transfer phone to phone didn’t work)

Optus Help (@optus_help) reported@Kennedy00766502 Hi Kennedy, sorry to hear you have yet to receive an eSIM to activate your service. I can appreciate that this is not an ideal situation. Did you get an email with additional instructions for downloading your eSIM? Alternatively, have you tried logging in to your My Optus app and going to Account > SIM Management > Activate eSIM and follow the prompts. If the above doesn't seem to work, feel free to send through a DM, so we can confirm a few more details and see what the next best steps are. -Athan

ARTCvan 🍉 (@ARTCvan) reported@Naymmm_ @stupidtechtakes *actually the governments fault for whatever stupid reason, they forced Telstra/TPG/Optus to do these blanket bans on VoLTE capable devices if they weren’t sold locally for whatever reason
-
Miss Igraine (@MissIgraine) reported@clarkes signing that deal last year for tpg to operate over Optus networks in regional areas. So that's good. We need to come up with a way for network failovers when these incidents happen. But it's tricky... if the biggest operator goes down, how would this work in practice.
