If @Optus had of kept the maintence of the cable up to standard before selling to the NBN then it wouldn't have been an issue.That being said I don't get why the NBN didn't just fix the issues.

I no longer have email.(Optus has no online techicnical team). It took me an hour and a half to get through to Telstra. My washing machine is broken. My TV doesn't work. All I have is Twitter. TGFT.

It’s the streaming channels that take ages to start and give streaming errors. Catch-up like BBC First are really bad and often fail to start a show, showing a streaming error. Looks like Fetch service prob.

I have a personal account and recently changed the business account to you but I’m told your crm system can’t differentiate or create two distinct entities - causing confusion and mix ups. It’s 2021!

In effect Kitching was sacked To fix it? Requires a referendum. Factions are funded by outside interests unions businesses, individuals with an agenda etc. That's hard to remove NEXT

At one stage it was supposed to be finished by mid Jan, but it is still dragging on! In the meantime I get 4th world service! Download speed 10.3, upload 1.16, and this is on 5G

I don’t think there’s been a day since Christmas that we’ve had a full day without network outage and connection dropping to the level where the internet just can’t be used. Wayne Reardon (@WayneReardon) reported@hakluke About 20 years ago I was with Optus, and back then if you were late paying your bill Optus would disconnect your SIM so you couldn't even receive calls. To get it connected again you'd have to ring Optus and they'd tell you it would be back on within 4 hours. That never happened, so you'd have to ring them over and over again until it eventually got done. After wiaitng for over a week for my phone to be put back on and again being told it would be back on within 4 hours, I said "no, I'll wait on the phone with you until it's done. He then passed me to another team who enabled my SIM again while I was talking to him. Anyway, that night I noticed that when my Dad who has a private number rang me, it showed his phone number with a hash tag before and after the number. This happened with every private number and I realised that when my SIM was turned back on, something went wrong and I was able to see private numbers. It was the greatest thing ever! I would get telemarketers all the time who would abuse me when I'd tell them to stop ringing me, but now I had their number to call back. You should have heard how shocked the first one was when I rang him. I kept ringing him and he begged me to stop and kept asking "How did you get this number? I don't even know this number". That ended when that phone was stolen 2 years later, but it was great while it lasted. I've since had Optus tech employees in our pubs and ask them if they can do it, and they tell me that it's impossible, but I know it's not.
