Dear @Optus it’s been a good 25 years. But, you’re testing us on our changeover to @NBN_Australia Still no internet & 3 no show tech appointments to connect our FTTC so far. Tired of waiting for a tech who never turns up. Now considering what other options are available to us 😕

@albericie @Optus I cancelled Foxtel recently and the experience was traumatic. I was repeatedly grilled as to why I was terminating an account I had opened 22 years ago. When I told him, he refused to accept it. I had never been rewarded for loyalty and now it as if foxtel had done me a favour.

@albericie @Optus I tried to cancel online then on the phone. The tech still turned up. When i complained they had a record of the chat that proved i cancelled and was refunded the money

I've been trying to cancel an installation appt with @Optus all day. First I tried with the chat bot no luck with a call back. On phone with a "consultant" in Phillipines now who says she doesn't think it's possible to cancel. I've been on this call for 25 mins already. Why?Why?

@albericie @Optus I'm with Optus. I declared war on them. They're hopeless. I can't even watch a video in HD. I'm stuck on speeds slow enough to barely deliver SD.

@albericie @Optus I have really disliked any interaction I have had with Optus. Once you're up and running, they're fine but heaven forbid you need to relocate or you have a technical difficulty. That's when you get taken down into their nasty little hall of broken mirrors.

@albericie @Optus Telstra is way worse! Took a month to get someone to help me cancel a duplicate service. The bot sent me in circles, phone line redirected me to online chat, online chat person overseas was incentivised to make me keep the service. In the end I had to stoop to tweeting at them!
