Dear @Optus it’s been a good 25 years. But, you’re testing us on our changeover to @NBN_Australia Still no internet & 3 no show tech appointments to connect our FTTC so far. Tired of waiting for a tech who never turns up. Now considering what other options are available to us 😕

@stu6162 @redruby17 @Optus Yup. I use Aldi Sim, pay $15/mth, great speed in Metropolitan area and good enough in the country, they use part of the Telstra 4G/3G network, good speed, I'm near Penrith and receive around 120 Mbps. Not bad at all.

  • bloominspring1 Michelle 💉💉💉 (@bloominspring1) reported

@Sarah_Alice_X If there are more (there will be), it's a much bigger indication they aren't (ignorance) / can't (change process too slow) / won't (don't believe they're vulnerable or a likely target) learn from the likes of Optus, and obviously now Medibank.. they don't care about your data..

@redruby17 @stu6162 @Optus That is very slow! Wow! How do you get work done?!

  • svatmann Swatman (@svatmann) reported from Ceduna, State of South Australia

@Minus777 @Asher_Wolf @Optus Yeah that ship sailed when their left their root login as ADMIN - PASSWORD

  • psg_au Peter (@psg_au) reported

@ServiceNSW Optus should have NEVER been recoding card numbers….

  • elee_bella Ella Lee (@elee_bella) reported

@redruby17 @Optus I’m with Belong and I get 100GB of data and unlimited calls and text in Aus and some OS minutes for $50 per month. The data rolls over, so I never run out.

  • the_LoungeFly Arioch (@the_LoungeFly) reported

@redruby17 @Optus If you have 5G in your area then consider 5G internet service. Either Vodafail or Telstra. Make sure the speed is not shaped. For example 5G can reach speeds of 800megabit. But they my cap the speed to 100. So don’t bother with that. I’m on $80/month 800gig data, no speed cap.

  • AnnKreger Ann Kreger (@AnnKreger) reported

@ClareONeilMP I am an Optus and Medicare customer who received a very plausible Telstra bill look alike scam email today. Companies must be required to their improve cybersecurity and have expensive consequences for not protecting customer data.

  • KylieSWine Kylie 🌏🌿🦘❤ (@KylieSWine) reported

@redruby17 @Optus Wow, awful treatment! I'm so sorry you had to go through this. 😔 I'm up after November, I still never received any apology from them and I was told to simply wait and see what happens. 😡

  • stu6162 Tech, Creating Jobs, Tranquility, a better world (@stu6162) reported

@redruby17 @rick_rampal @Optus I'm out of the country so can't test mine ATM. But sufficient for zoom calls video streaming and I get advantage of telstra network geographical coverage.
