Dear @Optus it’s been a good 25 years. But, you’re testing us on our changeover to @NBN_Australia Still no internet & 3 no show tech appointments to connect our FTTC so far. Tired of waiting for a tech who never turns up. Now considering what other options are available to us 😕

@smh @natassiazc In one locked down LGA - in the Carlingford area - many have not had Optus mobile internet or calls for days. Optus are saying they will fix within '10 working days'. There is a vulnerable ethnic population here who rely on communication!

Hey @optus what’s the SLA for a tech support case allocated to L2 support? I think I’ve isolated what’s causing the issue but L1 keep telling me to wait for L2 to call me back.

@Optus Hi Jono, checked the outage site you suggested and it’s saying no outages in our area! But we have no internet! Both boxes just keep flashing!

Something big is happening August 2nd thru August 11th. I believe 5G will be coming on in Melbourne Vic. Why? I've received texts from Optus claiming service interruption for 48hrs at the same time as a Census letter requiring information about who "exactly" will be home Aug 10.

@newscomauHQ In Epping carlingford NSW the Optus service has dropped to next to nothing for 3 days- we are in deep lockdown w vulnerable population of non English speaking background - no calls in or out. People can't communicate if they are sick. This isn't covid management.

@ssharwood @NBN_Australia Hmmm, I get Optus notifications about NBN maintenance v. often, have never actually experienced any noticeable change let alone an outage. Granted many are overnight, & none of this is a strong predictor for what ur TLS/NBN experience will be.. But I'll be interested!
