  Dear @Optus it’s been a good 25 years. But, you’re testing us on our changeover to @NBN_Australia Still no internet & 3 no show tech appointments to connect our FTTC so far. Tired of waiting for a tech who never turns up. Now considering what other options are available to us 😕

  @7_columns @Andrew_McCallum If you listened to her, the government mandated after the Optus issue, that with emergencies, the people using the network that is down, should be switched to a working network. She said she wanted to test that her phone went to Optus if Telstra didn’t work. It didn’t, and that is important.

  @Michael83424242 This started under the LNP are you senile, stupid or deliberately been disingenuous? Communications outages & breaches occurred under the tenure of Paul Fletcher, who served as Minister- 2019 to 2022. The 2022 Data Breach: In Sept, Optus suffered a massive cyber-attack!

  @twensor @FetchStep sadly its totally on form for telstra. remember when a small fire in their chatswood building took out the national SMS network. where i live telstra, nbn, optus and vodafone are all on a 4 hour battery backup, while essential energy schedules regular 8 hour outages.

  @Kate3015 Long ago I recommended to Optus the reasons they should not consider Huawei, I had a techo team from Huawei walk me through how they would treat the Data Centres and the router installations, they insisted only Huawei techo engineers would install them, it was open to anybody dialing in and accessing, so it was a big no. This smells the same, very much so.

  @MelbOnTransit @Urban_Immerser Why don't V/line use a back up telco provider beside telstra? So if one goes down they got some form of commication. V/Line should back up Telstra with Optus in case on goes out!

  @strangerous10 And they pushed back at global roaming as well. Happens as a default in most countries. Would save a lot of problems if Telstra or Optus shared their networks when network problems arose with any communications provider in Australia 🇦🇺 @AlboMP
