Dear @Optus it’s been a good 25 years. But, you’re testing us on our changeover to @NBN_Australia Still no internet & 3 no show tech appointments to connect our FTTC so far. Tired of waiting for a tech who never turns up. Now considering what other options are available to us 😕

@PJW719 @noplaceforsheep I want Optus to pay too - I want them to pay for 12m equifax for all affected customers. I want them to give everyone at least 3 months free service, just to compensate for short term change of passwords and 2fa arrangements. And a pool for compensation for any ID theft victims.

@Tbone_Flusher @Optus I don't follow Optus and I'm not a customer so I wouldn't have a clue, but by the look of their management team, probably not much

Despite what Optus say, the #OptusHack DOES affect accounts opened BEFORE 2017 Your app is not working .@Optus. Your so-called overseas ‘security expert’ call centres are hanging up if they don’t know the answer to questions .@Optus This is chaos! #OptusDataBreach #Auspol

Leading on from this, @Optus has poisoned the authentication well in Oz. The leak is so large, it's hard to see how any organisation can now use any of the compromised information (in particular DOB) to authenticate a customer. To do so would be arguably negligent.

@football_roos @mjrowland68 This is useless. Service NSW turning away anyone affected by Optus even if you have the police report. Shame on them.

@roromassa15 @ClareONeilMP Good enough is being super polite. It’s f*king despicable and yet they have no issues in an automated payment reminder. Pathetic @Optus
