Dear @Optus it’s been a good 25 years. But, you’re testing us on our changeover to @NBN_Australia Still no internet & 3 no show tech appointments to connect our FTTC so far. Tired of waiting for a tech who never turns up. Now considering what other options are available to us 😕

@Optus so if you are moving house today it’s all the cyber attacks fault and you have to go in store. Stop using this as an excuse and help your customers rather than hiding behind a script

@nadinevoncohen @patrickkeneally Only contact I've had from Optus has been apologies for our NBN dropping out. Which is roughly about ten times a day. But hey, who could have foreseen the copper technology solution not being up to the job?

@catedempsey Absolutely. There won’t be any real punishment for Optus. So of course they won’t take it very seriously. If they had to compensate each customer and face heavy fines, they may think twice about hoarding unnecessary data

@SkyNewsAust Morrison couldn’t even hold a hose! why does the Coalition now think it’s the Fed Gov’s job to fix the slack security for Optus? They have run a second rate business for years. Labor need to reset the telecommunications industry in Au & bring in more professional businesses.

@simone_au @Optus This is an organisation that exposed customer and former customer PII via a public unauthenticated API and the claimed the attacker was sophisticated and that Optus was the victim. We're way beyond tone deaf.

Optus won't talk to me so delete your credit card info from the login portal on auto pay. Let's see when they ring me

This Optus hack has really put into perspective the significance of me getting drunk and losing my wallet the other week and having to cancel all my cards & DL and get them re-issued. 4D chess move from drunk me if I do say so myself

I spoke with Service NSW. You can't apply to change your license number if you've been stung by the #OptusHack and want to protect yourself. Apparently they are working with Optus to define "next steps" and will directly contact those customers impacted.
