Dear @Optus it’s been a good 25 years. But, you’re testing us on our changeover to @NBN_Australia Still no internet & 3 no show tech appointments to connect our FTTC so far. Tired of waiting for a tech who never turns up. Now considering what other options are available to us 😕

@sassycarrie Looks like passwords were salted and hashed, so those are safe but change your optus one anyway. The really bad part is that it looks like, in the cases of those whose data was hoovered, they got more than they need for a little casual identity theft. You'll have to be vigilant

Well I was a happy #Optus customer of 20 years but the extremely poor communication around the iPhone pre-orders, and now the lack of effort to actually tell customers how affected they are by this data breach has removed that good will entirely.
