Grant Dewberry (@BigunitGrant) reported from Hervey Bay, QueenslandDear @Optus it’s been a good 25 years. But, you’re testing us on our changeover to @NBN_Australia Still no internet & 3 no show tech appointments to connect our FTTC so far. Tired of waiting for a tech who never turns up. Now considering what other options are available to us 😕

David Limbrick MP 🌸 (@_davidlimbrick) reportedWhy was Optus collecting passport numbers? And what sort of protections are there for medical records now that employers are collecting vax status? Emergency powers are ending soon. Employers still demanding vax status after this are all on their own. They should be worried.

Dawson Street (@DawsonStreet2) reported@Monocotyledon Without defending Optus, it wouldn't be surprising to hear that they've collated a bunch of info they probably don't need from bad legislation (to protect consumers) which has been exploited by an IT mishap. I wouldn't think the matter is systematic to call for a full review.

JazzMan (@JazzMan61684199) reported@stilgherrian Such poor service from Optus. Vic roads please let us change our licenses number before any Fraudulent activity happen. Such a stupid policy you have I'm place, makes no sense!

Terry Constanti (@tezlefty) reported@DrKate_Miller @emmaandollie @Optus I changed from Optus when their customer service dropped. Then swapped to newbie disrupts after Telstra also unhelpful when I needed help. Recommend Aussie Broadband for internet & bundles or Exetel for low cost mobiles. Both use Telstra and NBN networks .

Baxters (@baxters) reportedYes. @Optus is 100% responsible for the lack of security of their customer's personal, and valuable, private information. @Optus? YES. As a former customer, I want to know if they were still retaining MY information!?
-
ꕥNekoꕥ (@miss_neko_nadi) reported@katvic8080 @applepiestoday I left optus 4 years ago, I got an email today to say that my data was taken so I gave them a call and the agent said my account was flagged as data taken. I don't understand why why needed to hang on to my info after I left. Smh!

gailo (@thebiz_2) reported@Optus @RunnerSA18 you should have customer service 24/7 now because the app is not working !!!

Mama Goose (@sirbellabop) reportedOh fun facts. I've received two Optus bills since Friday. Still haven't been explicitly told about the hack. Happened to open my Optus app (to cancel my nbn account lol) and there was a banner up the top about it but... That's it? ******* ****.

💧Robyn D💉x4 Insufficiently Feminine (@KoparaFallsKid) reported@meggsy46 @AlanBixter I'm sorry, I don't know the answer. iPrimus is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) that runs on the Optus Network, which may explain it. I don't know if that means they share customer data. Maybe ring iPrimus?
