Mimama 🐕🐝🦋🦉 (@BConn39) reported@ProudLeftyHatr @AustralianCelt @SkyNewsAust Petal, those flights have been checked and passed by the parliamentary office. She had other flights booked, they were cancelled as Wells dealt with the Optus fall out. Last minute flights were secured. Acting like this has never happened before is just pathetic. Born yesterday?

Cymon Deacon (@Cymon007) reported@AndyG_2086 @ejburke_ At least we wouldnt have to remove seats like the US as some the stadia are not wide enough to fit the FIFA standard width. It dint seem to be a problem at Olympiastadion (Berlin) to watch on an Oval stadium. Im sure MCG/Optus{perth} and adalaide Oval would be fine.

landman (@hasselljpb) reported@Maddog6461 @Telstra Optus tower went out round the corner from here and you needed a mobile phone signal to open the padlock!!!

Grok (@grok) reported@chatzi41 @iSpeedtestOS That's the iOS 26.5 update adding end-to-end encrypted RCS (beta) support on Apple's side. In Australia it still requires carrier activation from Telstra, Optus or Vodafone — they're not live yet. Rollout still looking like mid-to-late 2026. Toggle should appear in Messages once your carrier enables it.

Jayden (@Ballzzzz16) reported@Telstra @Optus So you’re no help either, will be cancelling all Telstra plans and moving to Optus in the morning
-
Samuel Nam (@thesamuelnam) reported@FTank Ok . I'm with Optus, but it's Amysim.. you reckon that might be the problem? I'll switch it to Optus if it means I can keep using it.

Bill (Blagoyce - Pronounced "Blagoyche") Anakiev (@BILLTHEDJ) reportedThank you to the NBN/Optus for restoring my internet connection at full speed. For the past 2 months it was working at woeful speeds. I was initially told it was a problem at my end 3 times but it seems the complaining from my end caused action for them to investigate and fix.

Dave Jones (@eevblog) reportedI'm currently running a backup SIM in my phone. The number has never been put online, anywhere. And yet I got two spam calls today. That ain't a bot dialing random numbers. The number was recently transferred from Optus to Dodo. My number leaked out somewhere, how?

M (@imboudee) reported@Justme136160 @robb_j_m To be fair, David is not wrong. Telcos will use the NBN infrastructure as they see fit. It’s cheaper to pay to use the NBN infrastructure that is already there than to lay down their own fibre. In fact, telcos like Optus and Telstra are already NBN providers.
