  @WaterfordJack @vjmahon I reported alleged AFP corruption to ACLEI. They pretended to be sympathetic. When I didn’t get back to them (nameless, they never even gave names) in a timely manner, they rang me on both my phones. I asked how they got my new Optus number. They said they looked it up.

  @optus_help @Optus the optusnet email service seems to be down again. I can’t send or receive emails. Why does this happen every few weeks?

  @opf_pk Australia switched off its 3G network in 2024 and Jazz IR roaming stopped working in Australia. Community raised it many times with Jazz, to always receive standard replies, to no avail. Please raise with Jazz to talk with Singtel/Optus to restore Jazz IR in Australia.

  @Zaica71 Hi there, as mentioned by my colleague, this is a built-in safety feature within the phone. Based on the notification, it seems that the change is not permanent and will unblock all numbers for a 2-hour period to ensure that you are reachable by emergency services.   @KobieThatcher It is same with Telstra Optus and Vodafone. Network monitoring is also done from India.

  @Kimbo_Ramplin @_BradleyWilliam The problem is at Optus there will only be a few hundred tickets at $35. They lie by omission about the split between ticket prices. Most seats at Optus "no bad seats" Stadium will be category 1 or 2.

  @Optus ordered a phone upgrade and eSIM. Got the email saying the order number would arrive next. But nothing. Told the order wasn’t processed ‘yet’. Had this before. They say order again and you end up with 2 accounts. When you cancel one, it incurs fees and a debt agency. Scam.

  @KobieThatcher @Ann19851873 Agree 💯 Also with the recent Telstra outage and formed Optus outage. Both affecting Eftpos networks and ATM’s. Cash is king for many reasons including privacy. Do not let cash die out.
