  @gerardmmkl Are News Corp possibly nervous that Foxtel may lose the NRL rights? Because I'm quite sure that people will follow the NRL to Stan or whichever other streaming service the coverage may end up at instead, just as there was a kind of exodus from Optus to Foxtel about 25 years ago.

  @FOXFOOTY @GerardWhateley No problem with Gather Round staying in SA but to say it wouldn’t be the same in any other state is completely facetious. It could be easily replicated in WA, imagine a game at the WACA then a walk over the bridge to another game at Optus. Play Freo at Freo Oval for fun even.

  @ProudLeftyHatr @AustralianCelt @SkyNewsAust Petal, those flights have been checked and passed by the parliamentary office. She had other flights booked, they were cancelled as Wells dealt with the Optus fall out. Last minute flights were secured. Acting like this has never happened before is just pathetic. Born yesterday?

  @itsiclassic Waaaaaay harder, my Galaxy S21+ died after I tried replacing the battery myself, and my carrier Optus made it hell to replace my eSIM, I had to wait in a store for 2 hours, and the store couldn't even do anything so they just let me borrow their store phone to call support 😭

  It would now take full two days to send a message to Voyager 1 and receive a reply. Still better than Optus’ mobile network.

  @MattM_78 @optus_help Will be interesting to see what they can offer. I got nothing the last time and when I was wanting to upgrade my phone was told I couldn’t have a cheaper plan as it was only for new customers. I’ve left and gone elsewhere. Just waiting to activate my new SIM so I can cancel Optus

  @Justme136160 @robb_j_m To be fair, David is not wrong. Telcos will use the NBN infrastructure as they see fit. It’s cheaper to pay to use the NBN infrastructure that is already there than to lay down their own fibre. In fact, telcos like Optus and Telstra are already NBN providers.
