  • coelmay Coel (@coelmay) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

Using an @nokia 2.3 on the @amaysimAU (@Optus) network, regularly get (much) better @Speedtest results than using same device on @NBN_Australia networks.

@joshgnosis @PatsKarvelas Ah, 10M accounts had their details stolen... the attack wasn’t shut down that quickly. How many accounts were untouched before Optus stepped in?!

  • AllySultana ally😷Christine😷2570 (@AllySultana) reported

Hey lovlies .need your advice.I've been with telstra for 5 years but before that I was with optus. I have a new number but wonder if I should check and see if my old number was one of those affected. If they kept the info that was on it is there a chance I might be in trouble

  • nim_jpg NIM (@nim_jpg) reported

@Optus any help or are you just going to ignore

  • Sinkofix Sinkofixx (@Sinkofix) reported

@AnnieBrownie4 @cambo5157 It was an Optus press release. Telstra is having a quiet laugh at the moment. Mick Fuller reckons Gladys needs to be trotted out to do her thing, but I am not sure it would help.

  • TerriQuilty Terri Q - aka WA Loose Unit Sewer Rat (@TerriQuilty) reported

@Zadimum63 @hughriminton If the @Optus store is open. Walked past one in Subiaco, WA yesterday - closed due to “staffing issues”. More probably unwilling to face hostile customers.

  • brad_withyman Brad Withyman 🎯🌊🎱🇺🇦 (@brad_withyman) reported

@jaimyn_m Just to double down a lot more, @Optus offer victims a years subscription to @Equifax to monitor their stolen data. Equifax were found guilty of a Data-breach of 50mi customers. So far has cost them over $2billion in fines & compo.

  • thekennethen (the) kennethen (@thekennethen) reported

@joshgnosis @lenoretaylor Optus is a joke. Sorting out an older relative's internet plan that was never going to work in their area took 3 months to sort out and over a dozen phone calls. How older people or people with little IT experience are meant to navigate this is beyond me.

  • choosing150 choosing (@choosing150) reported

Be wary of people 'reaching out' to offer help in relation to optus hack. Huge warning signs include new accounts, no followers, a dozen tweets, no reliable history to check. Dodgy as, don't trust them

  • IntBystand Interested Bystander (@IntBystand) reported

Hey, @Optus, I’m still waiting for a response via the Yes app from Thursday night. Your chat bot is bullshit, with nothing but formulaic responses. Your customer service is as atrocious as your data security standards. When TF will a human respond??? #OptusDataBreach #auspol

  • chucklunch1 Chuck lunch (@chucklunch1) reported

@ScomoFails @Optus Aldi, $25 plan, unlimited calls and texts. Great app. Uses Telstra network.
