Using an @nokia 2.3 on the @amaysimAU (@Optus) network, regularly get (much) better @Speedtest results than using same device on @NBN_Australia networks.

@KevinAirs am I missing something? If an Optus customer, that's a reduction from $15 to $7? Got my wife's mobile plan on Optus for this very purpose.

@jonzey0 @VinceRugari Given my experience with Optus billing there's going to be a crap-ton of credits refunded to accounts during September and October as people realise. Competence in billing isn't their strong suit.

I understand why Optus had to do this, and if you're a customer it's a price increase that most people can absorb. But the reality is it's just getting more and more expensive to be a football person in Australia and the cost is continually being borne by the little guy.

@OptusSport Oh yuck, only reason I signed up with Optus was to watch the EPL, if I have to pay for it despite paying over 90$ a month for a plan, might as well cancel it and move everything back to Telstra

@OptusSport Hey @acccgovau looks like Optus signed up customers to 2-3 year contracts with free Optus sport as a benefit....but now seems like they are going to charge for that service. Seems misleading.......

@OptusSport upping fees while still showing ads through games so they can pay for the Women's World Cup, which no one is interested in. You have to be kidding right? I put up with ads when getting it as part of my optus phone service. There is NO WAY I'm paying for this garbage

@VinceRugari With this price increase, are they still going to be showing the bloody ads too?? I'm blown away that they have ads on a paid subscription service. I think this may be the end of me and Optus Sports. I'm a Man Utd fan so not worth watching anyways!

@VinceRugari Yeah I’d imagine they have surely been running at a loss the past few years. Nearly no one directly is paying for a product that has cost them hundreds of millions of dollars. Either an optus customer or using a mates account
