@AndrewS94820225 @KirstyWebeck Thank you. I am not in favour of giving those scum any money. And I'm an Optus customer and I'm furious at Optus.

@rossbalch @Optus I'm no longer a customer. Was one in 2020. Data goes back to only 2017 I think. I got an email.

  • pitdroidtech Max (@pitdroidtech) reported

@PJW719 @noplaceforsheep Yes I'm impacted by this myself. I'm furious at Optus. But giving the scammer a free million bucks when they are just going to monetize the data anyway isn't going to help anyone. Okay pay the million bucks whatever. But it won't do any good.

@billytae_cyrus omg elena 😭 have u received a text? because if u get a text from optus, that’s when it’s real bad and they’ll offer help in id protection 💀

@Optus thanks for your lack of vigilance n poor cyber security. I spent lots of money on internet security to protect my cards, passport, DOB etc now they're leaked in hack when I last used Optus back in 2018! They can sell my data to other hackers 😡

  • needlesineyes needleineyes (@needlesineyes) reported

@9NewsSyd spam calls from around the world started last months ago, became really frequent last month, suddenly stopped after 13th September. If that will help authorities chasing the culprits #Optus

Gladys - ICAC>OPTUS. Disaster after disaster. A crook never changes its colours.

@danilic What's the best way to switch off Optus without experiencingtoo much downtime? Do I just sign up with another telco and then cancel with Optus. Someone should write a step by step guide. I'm sure a lot of people would be eager to read it.
