    There has been an @optus outage in 3109 for the last THREE DAYS and the only status being reported is "under investigation". Pull your finger out. Maybe also have enough staff on hand during long weekends to at least find out what is actually wrong.

    .@masterchefau Optus Stadium is less than two years old and is named after a telecom company with irritating commercials and spotty service. Let’s just say it isn’t necessarily ‘hallowed ground’.

    @Telstra That I (and every other Telstra customer at the game) experiences congestion is self evident. My question was why the so-called “premium” network seems to have the worst experience of this. Other networks (@Optus and even @VodafoneAU) are more useable at these events.

    I had my mobile with Telstra but had reception issues at my house as it's an old tower the network uses. They wanted to install an antenna at my cost. I changed to Optus and no problems

    @NBN_Australia ❌❌ Big crosses 4 u. No internet for 5 weeks; no solution for 5 weeks. A lot of blame & being thrown backwards & 4wards between Optus & you. Family dependent on me having a l/line as on emergency alarm. ❌❌

    Hi Phone service suspended after being told by @Optus team member Perry on Friday 31 May 19 account is in credit and next bill due 11 June 19 Not good enough and no customer service by this international company, it seems they forget they have customers to look after #nothappy

I need something for my awful 3G/4G cell tower issue where I am mostly getting SOS level signals… I’m right in the middle of an area where three towers don’t overlap. Have to use wifi calling. When the modem goes down every few days (Optus NBN) I go into a comms hole

    @Urchin_LMS @ian_ianm8349 @PeterTOWNSV1LLE You probably won’t know for a while. Maybe not even this year. Which means you’ll end having to pay for a service that monitors your credit rating & applications. This is something Optus should now offer free to all those affected. It’s not cheap.

    @clarkes @lesstenny @Optus If the data was stored on the same server though, it's possible it was taken. It comes down to how much you trust their integrity vs their desire for damage control/prevent widespread panic

    @Jeremy_Kirk Interesting - looks like I’d be in the second quoted range and Optus customer service said it didn’t appear that I was impacted. At a guess they’re still working on flagging accounts (sequentially?).

    @agarner Optus have failed to keep accurate customer records for the last few years. Not sure if this is due to outsourcing IT or incompetent management or both. I've been struggling with them to fix my info, but they all seem to have no idea!

    @PeterTOWNSV1LLE Shocking that this happened in the first place. You would think it would be a priority to invest in cyber security, obviously it is not important and profit is. I’m with Telstra but I feel for all those who are an Optus customer.
