Spent 2 hours on chat to @Optus trying to arrange a new iPhone14pro plus sort out the families various plans. Only to have chat end when making the final confirmation of the order details agreed. End result not happy … no order… have to go through the same old **** show again

I'm sick of @Optus company. Several incidents of overcharging me and making multiple mistakes + slow customer service ( it takes hours for them to respond and a month to get an issue fixed) + Internet keeps cutting. I should have left them years ago!

When Optus was hacked, state governments were quick to offer support for victims with new ID, nothing for Medibank customers. Why the difference in response? The support from Medibank at this point has been pathetic. #thedrum

Anyone use Belong mobile? Any good? I’m with Optus but they’re giving me the shits - I can’t use my phone at home to make calls coz they’ve been ‘upgrading the network’ since mid-Dec! And I work from home 3 days a week. Paying $50/month for SFA service…

@cameronwilson Also v handy for checking “does X network actually provide service where I’m at /. Work or live?” Without having to sign a contract or >1 month typically. Where I’m at in aus Telstra and Vodafone seem to be the best combo, Optus just does NOT work. At all, YMMV etc

@BenSmee @Optus I was in this boat a few months back. After rebooting my router numerous times, they booked a NBN technician to come and have a look. And then I found reset button on my NBN box and it fixed the problem. I’ve since added Optus Technician to my resume.

Hey @Optus can you lot sort out your reception issues? Apparently you’ve been working on towers in my area since Dec 16, and I can’t make a bloody call. They can’t hear me, or I sound like a robot, or calls fail. I’ve restarted my phone, reset network settings and nada. One bar.

In 6 months I will have paid off my iPhone, never again will I pay off a mobile phone. I could have bought two android phones for us with the amount of money I gave Optus over the 3 years this September for my iPhone that I’m playing off.

@GladysB Why is Optus permitted to jeopardise COVID safety with a substandard service of 3G in Suffolk Park NSW which only last week was a COVID hotspot. 3G makes QR code sign in difficult or at times not possible.

@Optus Have before, was told that it wasn't a priority, and will improve as the 5G network is rolled out. So, indefinite time frame. But, the new maitland hospital will be using the same towers, causing the same issues.
