  A guy moved into a new apartment. Only “official” internet was FTTN NBN — $90/month for a pathetic 30 Mbps down max. He called Telstra and Optus. Both said “5G Fixed Wireless not available at your address.” He checked a cell tower map anyway. Half a dozen towers within a couple km.   @1amsharky @DeafMango ENG had better bowlers last time around. This time they don't have quality bowlers. They did really well in the last Ashes down under when they got bouncy decks in Optus, MCG. If theres a flat deck then it would end up in draw as neither teams could take 20 wkts on those surfaces

  Our nbn internet/phone service isnt working. A @Optus techician was sent to my home to find out why we dont have nbn internet. He told me there is something wrong with the fibre optic internet cable. The cable brings the internet to our home.

  @JordanTHFCFFC Freo is in trouble anyway. They need Brisbane in the 1/4 game so they can beat them at Optus. If they play anywhere else Brisbanes big game players will win it so they need to hope someone can knock the lions off

  @MichaelRuyg yep, when they built the NBN fixed wireless tower, that carries optus and vodafone as well, it had a backup generator. then the tower got "upgraded" with 6 months of regular outages and then next power outage we discovered the backup generator and the ability to call 000 was gone
