Hey @Optus trying to transfer to nbn on pc but your chat is not working
-
Mark G (@msg621) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
still no internet - how long do I have to wait for @Optus to sort it’s operation out. After feeling pushed to switch to nbn within a few months rather than the allowed 18 months, a stuff up with connection dates and now no internet. Rubbish effort Optus. Truly awful
-
Walker (@walkerhell) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus criminally overcharge for a service you can get, at a fraction of the price elsewhere. Will forever warn people against Optus.
-
Alex DC (@notout50) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@zachyp35 @Optus I've been having massive issues as well. Sometimes no coverage at all for an hour.
-
Wayne Harris (@Wayne02Wayne) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus seems a little odd that I can only get a decent deal with you for a note 10+ if I get a new number. Not the best way to treat a 16yr customer who is still spending $3k per year with you despite everything being out of contract! Time to look around I guess!

Adriano Di Prato (@AdrianoDiPrato) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
+ Hello @Optus, I’ve now returned to Oz and the iPhone still hasn’t arrived. Additionally I was promised that within 5 days someone would contact me regarding my complaint. This hasn’t happened either. Clearly the incompetence previously stated just continues. #OptOUT
-
Steve Scicluna (@stevescicluna) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus @NBN_Australia If the speed was at least getting above 50 Mbps, I’d attribute it to network congestion. However, 50 Mbps seems to be a hard limit, when I’m paying for 100 Mbps.

The Correspondent (@EFCcorrespond) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus NBN outage in Thornbury 3071. Dead at my place...
-
Adriano Di Prato (@AdrianoDiPrato) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus + 2/3 @optus just chose to send the “stock” to another customer and make me wait longer after the rekeying of the order. Basically they cancelled the original order and simply re-issued a new order with a new delivery address. #OptOUT
-
Dusa Shah (@DynamicDusa) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
Thanks @Optus after messing up my address on a NBN order I'm waiting over 3 hours to get through to someone to get the address fixed. Funnily enough they can't see what the problem is!!
-
Pez (@Pezzamystic1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
I bought a new 4G LTE Modem today, it appears to be providing an enhanced user experience on the @Optus network 🤩
-
Nik Nadiya Farisha (@yayafarisha7) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
It's official. Optus is shit
-
💧Robyn D💦 (@KoparaFallsKid) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@SydneySwitch I can't change that, Optus are in charge of their infrastructure arrangements, not me! The test just tells me Optus are using a Telstra server in the provision of their service to me.
-
Mark G (@msg621) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus just wondering if there is a status update on my internet connection issue
-
Mark G (@msg621) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
NOT GOOD ENOUGH @Optus. Feeling totally stuffed around by your inability to communicate (ironic) to me as a customer of several years
-
g1nchy 🦐 (@G1NCHY) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

3/ two @Optus guys come. Nope, it’s gotta go in here. Come back a week later. No, the folks down the back need it to do work. Well, ya might need a booster. Ok, I’ll pop down and check.
-
The Correspondent (@EFCcorrespond) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@NBN_Australia Thanks, Optus have smsd re local outage. Nothing on Twitter, crazy!
-
Eileen B Kenny (@eileen_1956) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@MitchRobinson05 Don’t touch the Optus deal. We had 10 weeks of problems, arguments .... and no internet! Go with 200GB Telstra landline/internet deal for $75 pm.

@7NewsAustralia @Optus Wake up Australia. NSW Service and Centrelink have all had multiple cyber security breaches in the last 2 years. The same places that refuse cash purchases. This is no accident. Go digital free!
-
Ben 🏳️🌈🎸🏍🏈 (@8StarMedia) reported
@Optus, I ported out of your service, yay! Your millionaire CEO will pay for my last bill. And please, if she is professional, her initials in the emails sent should have been her entire signature as I can copy her initials.
-
Gavin (@g_mann43) reported
I'd hate to see #Optus go down in flames due to the #optusbreach . But the CEO needs to resign, they've been absolutely aweful in both their culture and how they've handled the situation.
-
Jacob Pittolo (@jacobpittolo) reported
Everyone I see sharing their “you got hacked bad” Optus texts also has HUNDREDS of unread text messages. How?? How does anyone have maybe more than 5 unread texts?
-
Evan Gibson (@Kinesia23) reported
@JohnLutge Not just of Optus, of every company. They add zero value and do zero work. They leech off everyone below them but then blame them for mistakes instead of taking the responsibility they are being paid for. They are parasites which only cost value and never add.
-
Mel Graham 🤘 (@mellovesmusicau) reported
@broncook76 I'm not stressed. I'm pissed off. Why ******** did it take so long to send the email? The whole thing is a massive **** up. I'll never be an optus customer again.
-
😺 kitty (@Kitty97676872) reported
@7NewsBrisbane @Optus @JoelDry7 I wonder what they would do to these scumbag hackers if it happened in America or China or North Korea or Bali? Maybe jailed for life or worse!. This is Australia. THE SUCKER COUNTRY! Our leaders are crap and so are OPTUS. We have been easy pickings for yrs!I I curse you hackers!
-
Pat M (@mistermouse666) reported
@joshgnosis @tanharrison Josh, any chance of an explainer article on licence vs card and licence number? Ideally calling out whether we should be concerned in states like NSW where advice has been sent that because service NSW requires both, that replacement licences are not required for optus customers
-
Anna Smith (@annaRoseShadow) reported
@networkservice @TheEnbyperor Here in Aus that's for sure. Telstra (Which is ASX listed) is worlds better than Optus. Also I found Three to be **** when I lived there.

Keira (@ladytimeoin) reported
Looks like my husband and I weren't in the group of customers that had ID numbers leaked. I still don't feel comfortable staying on as an Optus customer. I've had issues with coverage and this is the last straw. I just need to get out of the device contract (12m+ left or $400)
