  • iambrendanlloyd Brendan Lloyd (@iambrendanlloyd) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus hey hey, I'm in Brunswick West and have been having NBN drop outs for nearly a week now, terrible wifi speeds while sitting right next to the modem, one person can stream while the other struggles, I've restarted NBN box and router multiple times. What's up?!

  • Shuttlecock Brad Stephenson☕️ (@Shuttlecock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus I've had it for almost a month. It's been set up and working fine. Am asking about an outage for today in particular.

  • siyon_x Siyon🌹 (@siyon_x) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus is there an outage because my nbn internet couldn’t connect for 24 hrs :(

  • glensarsero Glen (@glensarsero) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hey @Optus I’m getting daily dropouts with HFC NBN. The support team have been unhelpful. Concierge service is useless. I keep asking them to log a request with NBN but they keep giving excuses. On the one occasion a ticket was logged, they closed ticket immediately.

  • AntKaplan Ant Kaplan (@AntKaplan) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@HansOrph @Optus @NBN_Australia Yikes. That is pitiful. I’d be asking for a technician to come out ASAP so I wasn’t paying for service I wasn’t receiving.

  • bearlen Allen Foo (@bearlen) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus Thanks. Looks like an issue with th optus tower. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon!

  • Shuttlecock Brad Stephenson☕️ (@Shuttlecock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus is there a network page right now? My 5G internet has been completely dead for the past two hours now. In South Yarra, Melbourne.

  • abhijeet_1986 Abhijeet Kulkarni (@abhijeet_1986) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus Doesn't work. Whenever I talk to a customer care at this time, they ask me to call 5G broadband help desk number in the morning..in the morning the internet works ok. Vicious cycle

  • AMcFeeters Anastasia McFeeters (@AMcFeeters) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus you just sent me a survey about my mobile data purchase but you didnt ask how satisfied I was. Answer: it was appalling and unusable and I will never use Optus again. Your coverage outside metro is shameful.

  • plunger007 PlungerVax (@plunger007) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Any suggestions for NBN provider in inner nth Melbourne? @Optus 5G is fast ... when it works. Which is less and less. I've wasted dozens of hours & $$$ on this **** service which was dodgy from beginning. Think the Nokia modem is the problem. But support is almost non existent

  • EmJaeCaer Michael Carmody (@EmJaeCaer) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@ORDER_army @Optus @puma_oce I seem to be at some support group of order fans about to grapple with a loss. This an official thing?

  • bearlen Allen Foo (@bearlen) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus any 4G or mobile broadband outages in Melbourne? Both terribly slow tonight!

  • abhijeet_1986 Abhijeet Kulkarni (@abhijeet_1986) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus Ask for the supervisor and I get no calls. Irony - working from home and I have to login using my phone hotspot. What good is it to pay $75 for no internet. There is no urgency #Optus

  • mikjcal Mick (@mikjcal) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@wimmerachic I just saw the word Optus and knew it would be an absolute **** show. Good luck 🤞 I’ve personally never had a good experience with them, and everything was just way way too much effort which is why I’m glad I have zero services with them.

  • Shuttlecock Brad Stephenson☕️ (@Shuttlecock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus is there a network outage right now? My 5G internet has been completely dead for the past two hours now. In South Yarra, Melbourne.

  • mrjamesmoore James Moore + (@mrjamesmoore) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Jessee0923 From ABC attempting a skit show before the LFCvSYD game, to Ch7 having Johanna Griggs popping up to spruik some **** during their ‘soccer’ broadcast, think FTA would be a step backwards. SBS/Stan/Optus I can get behind. We should be able to watch it in 4K by now as well. Amazon??

  • SumiWumi Sumi (@SumiWumi) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus your NBN in Toorak Vic is horrible! I have had to reset the modem atleast 10 times - dial up in third world countries gives better network! And conveniently Sunday there is no help

  • abhijeet_1986 Abhijeet Kulkarni (@abhijeet_1986) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus - three weeks of complaints, 1-2 hours daily of talking to customer care and replacing the modem, still pathetic 5g broadband internet. 50mbps promise and you hardly get 1mbps #Optus #optus5g (1/2)

Optus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • dylancirca93 Dylan (@dylancirca93) reported

Anyone else concerned that Optus mentioned that they had kept "past customer records"? Like is that allowed?

  • twtkk65946080 KakKakKak (@twtkk65946080) reported

I've just been notified by Optus about the information breach has been occurred and my information was in it. I supporse no one would help me about this incident because I am a visitor, not the resident of Australia. I am just desperate... #OptusHack

  • JackRhysider Jack Rhysider (@JackRhysider) reported

@Heyagarn @DarknetDiaries @Optus When the stops being news about it, that's when it'll be ready to tell. I'm a slow news junkie so I'll read up on this in a few years, see where it's at and if it's ready to tell. Seems like if I publish something now, I'll miss most of the story.

  • AlexLCMedia Alexander Liddington-Cox (@AlexLCMedia) reported

I got scam called by people claiming to be from the NBN and ACSC, claiming my IP address has been compromised. Seems too close to Optus to be a coincidence, but I haven't received any comms from the company. Anyone else had this problem?

  • kokolopa kokolopa (@kokolopa) reported

CBA "added customer protection includes access to SavvyShield via the Credit Savvy App, “which makes it easy to temporarily ban access to your Credit Report if you think your identity has been compromised.” ITNews...the continuing Optus shemozzle, Medicare no.s taken too, fekkers

  • chrisbellwrites Christine Bell (@chrisbellwrites) reported

@susanfranciswr1 @Optus It seems so. When did customers start having to jump through hoops to talk to a person to solve an issue? In these hi-tech days everything is so much slower and less efficient if it involves communication or interaction! I don't get it! xxx

  • Valma_Bunce ValmaMemeQueen (@Valma_Bunce) reported

@RavenZech2 @Optus Apparently the ones worst hit have yet to be contacted by @Optus I received mine via email.

  • andrewmacfnz Andrew Macfarlane (@andrewmacfnz) reported

@Optus I'm aware of at least TEN NZ passport entries shared online in yesterday's leak of 10,000 customer records. DIA says it can't waive the fee for re-issuing passports for legal reasons, but warns customers that they could now be victims of identity fraud.

  • DPRA_Official DPRA News Service (@DPRA_Official) reported

I wish companies like #optus would focus on their core business instead of virtue signalling and pushing woke nonsense. The Optus CEO must resign over the dismal manner in which they've handled customer data and the fallout. Let this be a wake up call for all Australian companies

  • mary_tambling63 💧Wake Up Australia! (@mary_tambling63) reported

@cheryl_kernot @abcnews @abcnews giving #LNPsinkholes airtime to tell us that "Penny Wong has taken too long to fix Passports, & Butler has taken too long to fix Medicare". And now we have SnotNosedTravesty to accuse the Govt Ministers of lying to us about Optus! I give up! #auspol Is Sally still on?
