@albericie @Optus Good luck! Feel your pain. Left the big telcos a few years back. With a smaller isp now - much happier with the customer service

  • dorrian_peter peter dorrian (@dorrian_peter) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

Hey @Optus I moved house today and notwithstanding 3 weeks notice - guess what - no internet connection at my new house - and btw your “customer service” sucks - just time wasting useless conversations- how does a very long term loyal customer speak to someone who might fix this?

  • JoshO567 Josh Howe (@JoshO567) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@simonhill1894 The A-League won't be the same without you. Football in general won't be the same without you. Thanks for your service. Hope to hear you somewhere down the road. Maybe some place called Optus

Damn the girl from Optus that told me my personal data had been hacked never texted me back

  • ThatAussieMel M 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 (@ThatAussieMel) reported

@alex_1899_ @Optus I haven’t gotten a further email… yet. Waiting to be told my passport info was proper leaked and then I’ll be off to get a new one. Thank **** Optus are covering the cost of replacement passports. But still. Should never have happened.

  • btcnasia btcn asia (@btcnasia) reported

@DeniseBeale Yep. We're all on our own. Current customer. One generic email received. Several unsuccessful attempts to speak to a human, or even god forbid, a chatbot. #optusfail #OptusHack Future ex Optus customer when my contract expires. RT @intrepid144

  • Harvarine Harb (@Harvarine) reported

@ItsTheHermit tbf it's not every month but it happens often enough that it's pretty annoying. Telstra service is okay where I live but I also live right next to an optus tower so it's usually fast

  • taitoko_naomi Naomi outsourcer of parenting Watson (@taitoko_naomi) reported

@karenandrewsmp Well maybe if Optus actually had any appropriate security of its customer data… Wait wasn’t it your government that allowed Optus to weaken its data security? Hmmm.

  • annieljensen Bye Bi & GLTQIA Smoko (@annieljensen) reported

@karenandrewsmp Reminding us to never let a Lib/Nats government into power ever again. You know, the ones who allowed Optus to get away with a lax privacy policy. The ones who love getting rid of red tape. The ones who let corporates do whatever they want & then bail em out.

  • justinjonesblog Justin Jones (@justinjonesblog) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

It’s the “Dear Justin” to “Dear Customer” for me. This really looks like a suss email that is doing Optus zero favours. #OptusHack #OptusDataBreach #Optus

  • PeterRand13 Peter Rand (@PeterRand13) reported

@JoshButler @arielbogle So what’s the story when the phone service is bought through a retailer, say Virgin Mobile but the underlying provider is Optus? Who is sitting on the data? And what about tourists buying a prepaid at an airport? Optus’ parent Singel totally MIA. #OptusHack

  • KyloRenButIDo Claire (@KyloRenButIDo) reported

F**k me! Just received notification from Optus that I am part of the ‘hacked’ list and I need to get a replacement drivers license. Haven’t even been a customer of theirs for nearly 2 years Better safe than sorry but the inconvenience 🤬🤬🤬

  • SimonCollins74 Simon Bloke Collins (@SimonCollins74) reported

@kathryn_shine @Optus Pathetic- #OptusHack just handballing their ****-up to some govt website. Bye-bye! Enjoy going broke you hacks.
