    @Haydztweets @Jacko_GFreak @Telstra @Optus @iiNet Well no, some POIs have a higher capacity then others and it comes down to if they can actually support the speeds. If you're on a POI that is at almost capacity then the chances of getting higher speeds are limited, which is why people hit that 7pm slowdown.

    Why am I not surprised it’s this hard to cancel my @Optus broadband account after they told me my ADSL connection had been cut, with no notification.

    You just have to love @Optus. 2nd time in a few months they have cancelled our work email. Whole account system is attached to it. No warning. Just cancelled. Thousands of dollars at a stake. Service response, ‘nothing we can do’.

    Nothing like spending your spare time in an @Optus store because the customer service call centre are so inefficient & haven’t cancelled two numbers, one dating back to October 2017, despite being asked to on more than 2 occasions. $120 p/m charges need to be reimbursed, too.

    @Optus I cancelled my Optus adsl connection at the end of January after significant problems and more than a week without service & now I’ve had my previous direct debit used to take funds out on 17 February. There is no end to the terrible service by optus.

    @yodaberg @Optus I’ve had alot of problems with them lately & the only thing that worked was going into a store. Chat is probably the next most helpful & you can get a transcript of what they’ve promised to action.

    @Optus I had two wireless broadband plans and as soon as I terminate one my speeds slow to under 1mb/s. Been two weeks with no solution from your tech support.

    @DocB__ Never had a drama with iinet. Currently have mobile plan with them. Previously had internet with them in Perth(bundled with phone). Only slight issue is they have gone from The Optus network to Vodaphone, therefore signal wants a little sometimes in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

    @optus it would be great if your service indicator would have an estimated time for restoration of NBN service to a searchable address. I realise there are wide scale outages however the uncertainty about service restoration does not help 1/2.
