Good work @Optus I recommended you to my father, but after buying a SIM he’s spent hours failing to get it activated via your automated customer anti-service system which is apparently designed to thwart victims from getting to speak to a person. Never recommending you again.

@Optus hello, we got a new plan yesterday and the sim is not yet activated. Not in store, not later as told, not thanks to the online chat agent today, and I can't find the way to do it. Kinda need to be able to use the phone... please help.

@Optus Thank you. It’s a pity your chat help couldn’t check this. Or at least advise me to look at it. I was asked to reset my phone, remove my SIM card, change various settings. Each of these solutions were suggested multiple times despite advising none of them corrected the issue.

dearest @optus , I phoned you, and asked to be put through to the customer retention team. So far, I have been transferred 4 times, and am now on hold.. after being told that the wait time will be 15 minutes. #optus

@GaryNunn1 Aldi mobile uses the Telstra network without the Telstra price... but not sure if it supports things like multi devices or Apple Watch - I put my husband on $35 Optus plan (plus $15 to link iPad and the watch was free for the first year) with 30gb

@Optus @RunnerSA18 Also the causal way you notified customers who have had data taken is shameful an email saying ohh yep we deffo lost your data - you should be calling every customer impacted - not leaving the onus on customers to call to get equifax set up and plead for support

@QuentinDempster Optus wasn't hacked. Their system was wide open for anyone with advanced computer knowledge to access their files. I understand from my reading on the issue it maybe still open. How do they have any customers left?

@BurkeHellibee @AlboMP When Labor tried to censor the internet. Google and buisnesses where up in arms. Because to do a Nanny filter it would stop Australian buisnesses being high in Google searches because nanny filters slow bandwidth. I won't be surprised if they try again. Optus hack etc.
