    @Optus my NBN has been showing a reduced service for almost 24 hours and is still listed as ‘under investigation’. Any chance someone will get the investigation done soon. With downloads of 3.14mbps and uploads at 0.44mbps I can’t do anything currently

    @evilscootus @BigKev67 I'm aware of the poor cricket attendances in Perth from the early 1990s. When Tendulkar reached his 100 at the WACA in 1991-92, there was a tiny crowd. Optus isn't easy to access through public transport? That's a shame, for such a wonderful facility.

    The latest Optus ad deals with their cyber attack. Fair enough. My problem is they use the term 'learnings'. A word that doesn't exist in the English language. Lessons is the correct term, or 'what we have learnt'. If they can't get something that simple right, I wonder....

    @lesstenny @RNBreakfast I wasn’t listening this morning, but my thoughts are, rain - our infrastructure never considered there would be rain, mobile coverage infrastructure not keeping up with demand (I am 13km from Sydney GPO on a high point - hopeless with both Telstra and Optus), and NBN no doubt.

    @thegoodhamish @cameronwilson Apparently Australian anti-terror laws required it be kept, if so, Optus was Just Following Orders here. They’re still not off the hook, but the blame goes to govt as well (as always, government is more often the problem than the solution here).

    @Optus @RunnerSA18 Email I received was vague as to what information had been leaked. I expect that I would have been given a detailed email regarding my exposure. Also wouldn’t it be possible to offer free online monitoring of customers information. You’ve admitted human error, fix it!!

    @Jeremy_Kirk If this unauthenticated API was exposed on the public internet I struggle to see how any hacking or theft was even involved. Optusdata just used a service Optus had made publicly available. This is nothing more than outright incompetence by Optus

    @lawrepforjesus @Optus Big sprise I'm with ALDImobile inexpensive good service and they've been very good for the last 3yrs. Clarification - I don't use much mobile data, do most of that on the wifi.
