  So the answer to the @Optus breach by @VicRoads is to issue everyone a second card, effectively 2 CARD # FACTOR AUTHORISATION which will need to later be quoted to companies needing license info. Looking forward to the day I have a full deck of License cards. #OptusDataBreach

  @Zaica71 Hi there, as mentioned by my colleague, this is a built-in safety feature within the phone. Based on the notification, it seems that the change is not permanent and will unblock all numbers for a 2-hour period to ensure that you are reachable by emergency services.   @JordanTHFCFFC Freo is in trouble anyway. They need Brisbane in the 1/4 game so they can beat them at Optus. If they play anywhere else Brisbanes big game players will win it so they need to hope someone can knock the lions off

  Go digital they said. What that has got us? MyGov, Telstra, Optus hacked. Stolen identities, etc. This isn't even 1% the problem. Why keep pushing something that causes many problems & stress to everyday ppl? Tracing private citizens every move is the objective.

  Orbital robotics is quietly becoming a real commercial business, not a DARPA demo. Northrop's Mission Robotic Vehicle just launched on a Falcon 9 with two robotic arms and three detachable Mission Extension Pods. In 2027, it will autonomously dock with the Optus satellite at ~27,000 miles up and bolt on a pod to extend its life by 6 years. The Optus bird launched in 2009, designed for 15 years. It's not broken. It just needs propellant. That's the whole thesis here. The business model shift is what stands out. Operators buy and own the MEPs permanently attached to their spacecraft. That frees the MRV to keep servicing other vehicles, more like a mobile repair truck than a dedicated tug. Two MEVs have already delivered 10 years of combined life extension across three customers. The unit economics are starting to close. Autonomous proximity ops at GEO velocities, with no margin for error, is the hard part. Does the MRV's dual-arm approach give it enough dexterity to handle satellites it wasn't originally designed to service?

  @optus_help I’m not entering my personal details to one more Optus representative. This needs to be escalated to the Ombudsman. No one can respond or communicate with me about this issue. And there has been absolutely no effort to restore services.
