@GlennHampson Depends on how long for. In May I changed my plan with Optus to include 4GB international data and all calls worked a treat in US for month. Its a $40 plan with 80GB of data here too.

The longest felt run up for Ben Brown wouldn't definitely have to be down Optus Stadium. Boooooooooooooo #AFLEaglesNorth

@Energizer_916 @Optus Well then, it’s just complete and utter shit internet. These ISP’s take the absolute piss out of the shoddy service they provide, which they’ve all jacked up their prices for. Shittier internet for more money. New Zealand has better internet FFS.

Wayne Harris (@Wayne02Wayne) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus seems a little odd that I can only get a decent deal with you for a note 10+ if I get a new number. Not the best way to treat a 16yr customer who is still spending $3k per year with you despite everything being out of contract! Time to look around I guess!
-
A (@adrianpaIaz) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
You are honestly the worst 4G provider @Optus
-
Shamila Gopalan (@Shami2512) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus we signed up for nbn 4 weeks ago & hv not received a modem!! Hv called abt 6x, visited ur store & yet nothing! This is seriously ridiculous! Ur level of service is the worst we have ever experienced!!!

Alex (@Alex_I_88) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra It improves when I go into the city. It seems to be a signal issue in Brunswick! I would normally say it may be something to do with the walls/building but as Optus works perfectly fine I can’t see that being the issue!
-
Bella 🎡 (@itsabelslife) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
Hey @Optus I don’t know what you’ve done with Optus chat & now made it Optus Messaging. But it’s shit! 1 reply with a stupid question like is it still happening. Of course it’s happening. And now no response Bring back people who can help and bring back chat!

@thatdavidhooper I am having heartburn from Optus and NBN.Having them out to repair my NBN fault for a third time in a week.Thank goodness I don’t rely on it to work from home. I would be in strife. With pretty much a duopoly on services and monopoly on network, they don’t really strive to please.
-
AJG (@Aaron_Geary) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@eriantoinette @Optus They’re shit. As soon as I am able I am going back to Telstra.

Shakthi Warnakulasuriya (@Croos101) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus Hi Chloe, I have DMd you the details. Thanks. Hoping they would fix my connection today. Got a lot of online assignments due tomorrow.

Steve Scicluna (@stevescicluna) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus @NBN_Australia If the speed was at least getting above 50 Mbps, I’d attribute it to network congestion. However, 50 Mbps seems to be a hard limit, when I’m paying for 100 Mbps.

Eileen B Kenny (@eileen_1956) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus We’ve had all this. Tried raising a complaint and guess what .. put through to the Phillipines away from Sydney.
-
Davo (@DavoGunner) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus hope the EPL games tonight don't have buffering issues as per yesterday's games. The content is brilliant, (well done there!) but the buffering and delay is not. Thanks

@TIOAustralia I am having issues with @optus with regards with my internet. I have been trying to get a replacement modem which is PnP and they are suggesting a tech with no definite time, but a span of hours means I have to take time off work and hope that they will come or not

-
Nikki May 📚 (@NixLib) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia
Switched to @Optus 1 day a go and regretting it already. 1 phone call, 2 chats and now I have to go to a store because they sent me a dodgy sim. Surely as a new customer you would send them a new one rather than inconvenience them. RIP @virginmobileaus
-
Alan Hill (@ajhill_alan) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales
@perthovalman @kevinperry @TheWorldGame @SBS @ALeague @premierleague @Craig_Foster @LucyZelic A cash-strapped FTA network does its best but has no hope of competing with Foxtel (itself scaling back football coverage in the face of its own financial woes) and Optus. I'd blame the government before pointing a finger at SBS.

@Optus my 4G broadband at #stafford is so bad. Either that or the @Huawei modem. Not an isolated event. Really question the advertising around super fast 4g. Every night a snail pace speed. #nbn #broadband #nombps #slowinternet

Vel (@DemonicVel) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales
@LurkingWolfox @hendikins Depending on how plans shape up next year might switch to optus. I have 0 issues with the Telstra network, and you couldnt pay me to ever use Vodafone again as their coverage in the train to work is useless.

Kristy Maree (@kmhunt2014) reported from Bundarra, State of New South Wales
@Optus No problem. #Bundarra
