  So the answer to the @Optus breach by @VicRoads is to issue everyone a second card, effectively 2 CARD # FACTOR AUTHORISATION which will need to later be quoted to companies needing license info. Looking forward to the day I have a full deck of License cards. #OptusDataBreach

  @theheraldsun Telstra’s outage affected many states but Victoria’s train network was most affected. Why more than other states? State government stuff up. Optus has had outages too so you shouldn’t be fully reliant on these telcos.

Imagine my frustration when a major corporation that keeps increasing their prices can’t even get a service working which puts people at risk 🤡.   @HaveeSnowball Actually, the infrastructure and technical side is still handled locally, only the CS is off-shored, but if you looked at the Optus situation involving the numerous problems caused by Singtel, you'd know Telstra is in a much better position to deal with these problems.

  @PaulBongiorno Oh woe is me ! Just purchase a sim card supported by Optus [this is redundancy contingency] when Telstra goes off line swap out their sim & slot in the backup & vice versa. Alteratively purchase a dual sim phone which allows you to switch between service providers

  Back when Optus went down I was a Telstra customer. I moved over to amaysim which is Optus, and now the Big T has gone down. #winning
