  • cwgardiner Craig Gardiner (@cwgardiner) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Tried to get @telstra to upgrade my internet plan using the MyTelstraApp and Gold member support. Yep they are totally useless. Two reference numbers issued and still no change. Time to move to @optus I think

  • EmJaeCaer Michael Carmody (@EmJaeCaer) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@ORDER_army @Optus @puma_oce I seem to be at some support group of order fans about to grapple with a loss. This an official thing?

  • abhijeet_1986 Abhijeet Kulkarni (@abhijeet_1986) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus Ask for the supervisor and I get no calls. Irony - working from home and I have to login using my phone hotspot. What good is it to pay $75 for no internet. There is no urgency #Optus

  • Shuttlecock Brad Stephenson☕️ (@Shuttlecock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus I've had it for almost a month. It's been set up and working fine. Am asking about an outage for today in particular.

  • AntKaplan Ant Kaplan (@AntKaplan) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@HansOrph @Optus @NBN_Australia Yikes. That is pitiful. I’d be asking for a technician to come out ASAP so I wasn’t paying for service I wasn’t receiving.

  • mrjamesmoore James Moore + (@mrjamesmoore) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Jessee0923 Yeh I’d prefer Optus but doesn’t sound like they’re interested. So putting all my eggs in the Stan basket. But nobody can be as bad as Fox. Completely dropped the ball after all the lay offs and budget cuts.

  • mrjamesmoore James Moore + (@mrjamesmoore) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@AFoxApc @Optus Optus got back to me via DM and said they’re aware of the issue on Samsung TVs and looking to fix the issue.

  • cpjones44 Chris Jones (@cpjones44) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@darrenbennett76 @Telstra I switched to Telstra after being with Optus for years thinking I’d be right with “best 4G network”. I had calls drop out in CBD, no reception at the back of my house in Heathmont. Telstra support were hopeless. After two weeks I moved Vodafone and have never looked back 1/2

  • Shuttlecock Brad Stephenson☕️ (@Shuttlecock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus I'm sorry too but I've spoken to several customer support people on the phone directly about this and have just been told every single time to be patient and wait because there's nothing that can be done.

  • Shuttlecock Brad Stephenson☕️ (@Shuttlecock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus is there a network page right now? My 5G internet has been completely dead for the past two hours now. In South Yarra, Melbourne.

  • Shuttlecock Brad Stephenson☕️ (@Shuttlecock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Genuinely physically feel like I'm on the verge of having an anxiety attack over this whole @Optus thing. 5G net hardware ordered on Weds, delivered to wrong address and returned to warehouse on Fri, and is still there 6 days later despite 2 support calls during the week.

  • siyon_x Siyon🌹 (@siyon_x) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus is there an outage because my nbn internet couldn’t connect for 24 hrs :(

  • stirlospace 𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚛𝚕𝚘.𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚌𝚎 @𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚍𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚜.𝗰𝗼𝗺 (@stirlospace) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@infinitereality @stirlo Legit will take @SingtelSupport to court; for all this stress. But that would be way more stressful I think will just probably get a real network easy man just get rid of Optus honestly that is that bad it’s not worth it the amount of pain they cause? is not worth $1000/Day.

  • LeedsLibrarian Leeds United Librarian (@LeedsLibrarian) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@1079marting @rodchristopher9 We get all the premier league games live on @OptusSport for thirty quid a year (or free! If you are an Optus mobile customer)

  • mikjcal Mick (@mikjcal) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@wimmerachic I just saw the word Optus and knew it would be an absolute **** show. Good luck 🤞 I’ve personally never had a good experience with them, and everything was just way way too much effort which is why I’m glad I have zero services with them.

  • parrottrees Ben Holley (@parrottrees) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hey @Optus seems like your 4g is having issues and NBN is down in Croydon area as well.

  • abhijeet_1986 Abhijeet Kulkarni (@abhijeet_1986) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus - three weeks of complaints, 1-2 hours daily of talking to customer care and replacing the modem, still pathetic 5g broadband internet. 50mbps promise and you hardly get 1mbps #Optus #optus5g (1/2)

  • Wayne02Wayne Wayne Harris (@Wayne02Wayne) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus hi there. Need help. The new firmware update or the sagecomm fast5366lte-a (SG4Y1L003031) that you lirolled out to my modem over the weekend is stopping me using my work VPN. Need help. Your cust service team has been no help. Need to talk to a real tech pls urgently.

  • byronbache Byron Bache (@byronbache) reported

@optus, your “Financial Services” number redirects to the general enquiries line. I’ve spent more than 45 minutes on hold. I need to speak to a human today to make a payment arrangement. Please help. You’re engaging in misleading and deceptive conduct by redirecting those calls.

  • stevefirth13 steve firth (@stevefirth13) reported

@Optus Hi. Given up. I called the Philippines and got them to fix it. 26 mins on a call to an agent. Wouldn’t it be simpler fix the My Optus App. So much for pushing customers to your digital channels to alleviate phone calls. #NoCX

  • freddstid whisaldolf (@freddstid) reported

@yobigbird @Optus Every one with optus here are having the same issue. Especially using @iiNet as it drops in and out from 11pm last night

  • JakeEddy1 Jake Eddy (@JakeEddy1) reported

@Optus been waiting over an hour on your 24/7 service for someone to talk to regarding my internet connection not working. What’s the point of a 24/7 service if no one responds?

  • byronbache Byron Bache (@byronbache) reported

@Optus Yes. That’s the number. Try calling it yourself and ask whether you’re speaking Financial Services. I’ve now resolved my issue, but you guys need to stop deliberately redirecting vulnerable customer’s calls to waste their time. I’ll be making formal complaints.

  • rory_manchee Rory Manchee (@rory_manchee) reported

@Optus It’s not possible to address here on Twitter the litany of issues I have experienced thus far - I will be submitting a full and formal complaint once my connection is completed

  • Scaryone05 Anthony shearer (@Scaryone05) reported

@Mr_Wolf_15G If they launched a service like that for ps5 I would subscribe for a couple of months when a game that tweaked my interest came out like forbidden west for example either that or team up for an all access type service like Telstra does Xbox in Australia ps5 could do Optus

  • JimRHoughton Ignoble Jim Houghton (@JimRHoughton) reported

NBN down again this morning. No warning from @optus. Caused by routine power line work by @JemenaLtd. Seems nobody bothers talking to each other or communicating with customers about predictable outages. Boo to you both.

  • adammw Adam [he/him] (@adammw) reported

@fwmelb @JB_AU Only one of the three household members got a cryptic SMS that we eventually worked out was about the Preston cluster (bc apparently Optus/Voda can't get **** together).. but the link in the text had no detail about the cluster at the time the SMS went out so we were all confused
