@Optus My expectations you would help were low. Mainly posted as a warning to potential new customers of Optus so they know to stay away. In the absence of your helping in the multiple avenues of inquiry I’ll be passing to the TIO (since this includes potential over billing for 2 years)

@OptusSport Streaming issues are stopping me watch the LFC game. I pay for Optus Fetch ONLY to watch LFC games live. NOT happy with Optus especially as the cost has got up too.

@Itsmyyear2022 I mean, maybe I’m biased, but there truly is nothing like AFL at a packed MCG. I have now been lucky enough to watch a game at almost every stadium (except Optus and Giants). Having said that- have never gone to a Grand Final- fingers crossed for this year 🤞🏽😝

Anyone else see the irony in @Optus calling their in market plans “Choice Plus” and *reducing* the number of ways to pay (no bpay, which I use to manage cash flow )… meaning LESS CHOICE?! I’ve been a customer for 20 years, this could be the thing that makes me jump. Not cool.

@manjusrii This is devastating for @Optus and so far they have done everything we want - they have owned the problem, notified customers and tried to minimise the scam damages. Compare that to the Government with the census, mygov, covid apps and whatever else crashes - always excuses

@GeorgeGolcar @RossFloate Yes. For at least six years. Having worked with PPI I am prepared to bet money the amount of resource allocated to purging old data was exactly zero. So potentially every Optus customer in recent history.

@prestonsoft @patrickkeneally Seems very unlikely - history would suggest this normally takes time, and often never happens. Is there any evidence? Is there any anecdotal experience that couldn’t reasonably be explained by other data breaches? Optus doesn’t need my defence, but we need facts, not emoting.
