Sheeds (@Sheeds_au) reported from San Remo, VictoriaSo the answer to the @Optus breach by @VicRoads is to issue everyone a second card, effectively 2 CARD # FACTOR AUTHORISATION which will need to later be quoted to companies needing license info. Looking forward to the day I have a full deck of License cards. #OptusDataBreach

Emma’s Last Stand (@EmmasLastStand) reportedMillions of Australians may have had data accessed by “hackers” after Origin Energy confirmed it is investigating a cybersecurity incident. It could be one of the biggest “cyberattacks” Australia has faced following similar strikes on Optus, Medibank and Qantas. Most of the cyber “hacks” on Australian companies have actually been leaks due to incompetent, lazy IT staff—Origin received and email from the “hacker” but because said hacker didn’t reply to questions from Origin, the company pretended it didn’t happen until the hacker contacted the median. As I said, incompetent lazy IT staff.

Rob (@hkrob) reported@johnreader @Optus @optus_help An AI bot would be better than most Optus support I've dealt with tbh!

yjb (@Sark64754Farhan) reported@aravint_2107 Yes for WOR optus is the ideal pitch It will hide his weakness of giving width and elevate his strength Only ground where giving width is not a problem His test will be the other grounds

JD 73, IQ 71, JH 65... OS is his third worst ground and WC are his 4th worst team to play against. Houston at OS 2025, 52 2023, 66 2022, 47 I dunno 🤷

allyann (@me_allyann) reported@hardenuppete @originenergy They should be forced to pay for credit tracking for each customer that has had their account hacked for 12 months like Optus had to with Equifax.

rach (@rachael18536941) reported@6bretto9 I’m worried hawks won’t go deep in the finals as the first game for us if we stay 4th we have to play Freo at Optus and that sucks

J Labs (@jnj_pro) reported@Optus It is fine you don't store conversation only when the problem is solved. Otherwise it causes huge inconvenience and waste of time. Sometimes I lost history right after log in back again. How long do you actually keep it before you delete?

Satoshi Goy (@satoshigoy) reported@Optus Thanks, but that doesn’t address what actually happened. I was in the emergency broadcast area with a compatible device. There was no Optus coverage, but there was coverage from another network. Despite that, I never received the AusAlert. If emergency alerts can’t be delivered when your carrier is unavailable, even though another network is in range, that’s a significant issue. In an emergency, people shouldn’t miss life-saving warnings because of which carrier they’re with. Can you clarify whether AusAlerts are expected to be delivered in this scenario, or is this a limitation of the current system?
