Francis McF (@FrancisMcF1O) reportedRegional reality check: Telstra = service. Optus = maybe. Vodafone = forget it. If only one network works outside the cities, that’s not a market — that’s a monopoly.
-
The Technician (@TheTrader_76) reported@SimonSperling Are they pulling his statue down outside Optus Stadium ???
-
Peter Colbert (@PeterJColbert) reportedHere is the kicker. I was there b/c my father has Parkinson and border line Dementia which Abu knew at 383 George St. Abu tried to get the attention of the manager who was with a customer along with another Optus colleague and he brushed Abu away without even acknowledging Abu. Being also brushed off angrily by the guy at World Trade Square (witnessed by another angry customer) and had not opened the store at required time only shows Optus has a serious cultural problem which I’m sure Ben Fordam at 2GB will find interesting tomorrow when I email him.

Alison Kyteler (@ali_kyteler) reported@Togetherdec Australians can buy a mobile phone without identification but they can't connect to the network to use it without identification. Telcos are collecting & storing vast quantities of personal data. Optus iiNet TPG iPrimus Dodo already breached/hacked. Our Privacy Act is a joke.
-
Warren (@Wazzels5) reported@Optus Sorry Tam, not a great response. I have now spoken with a senior person within Optus and emailed the CEO with my complaint along with sending the recorded conversation with your customer service team to him also. I guess you no longer value loyal customers. Gee 24 years.

J (@jcotteri) reported@SSendybez8 @MelbourneBlokee Exactly this. WTF. It’s worse than Stan/Optus

💜⁷ ~🇦🇺 (@btsohteeseven) reported@googiespjm Optus! And I literally messaged them like x3 times a week telling them to fix my internet because it keeps cutting out!! I don’t understand this luck 🥹

Phantom Da (@stopbeingguilty) reported@Ishaan071007 @1no_aalsi_ Aesthetics ke liye paisa nahi lagta. Sense lagta hai. BCCI is richest board in the world. May be the Vranasi Shiva inspired stadium will be good. But most stadiyms made by Indians look bad. Austrakias latest stadium in Perth. Optus, just see it.
-
Mustafa Jones (@mustafa__jones) reported@SkullSpeedDeal I called Optus support the other day. The Indian guy on the phone literally couldn’t speak coherent English, misunderstood 5G and NBN, and sounded like he was calling from a scam centre which he probably was. Got escalated to an Aussie girl, problem was immediately solved.

M (@imboudee) reported@Justme136160 @robb_j_m To be fair, David is not wrong. Telcos will use the NBN infrastructure as they see fit. It’s cheaper to pay to use the NBN infrastructure that is already there than to lay down their own fibre. In fact, telcos like Optus and Telstra are already NBN providers.
