Dear @amaysimAU I have just had 2 messages stating my payments attempted has failed. I can't make payment until the @Optus network & @bankaust issue is resolved. This is not a failure of my willingness to pay but a wider issue. Please do not cut me off from my mobile service.

@Optus thinks fine to cut off someone's 5G home broadband for 15 days for a "network upgrade". No backup solution provided, and I'm supposed to be happy that I won't be charged for those days... This is the second time the same thing has happened! Reference no. 15357622337

The good news is, it means Optus can purchase more unrealiable copper lines from NBN without any return to their customer base. And we’re welcome to cancel without charge. Here’s a pat on the back from all of us who stayed with you. Well done, @Optus 👍🏻

@NSWHealth My son works for Optus in Bondi junction but lives in a suburb that is not affected.The manager at Optus is insisting that he attends work at their Bondi store, what is the point of a locked down when people are going to be moving freely in and out and infecting other suburbs?
