@canberraseal @Telstra @Optus But if the customer actively follows up faults, poor service, missing modems etc - silence... or an automated ‘take a number’ response. Same applies when given a 4hr window to be at home for a tech (who are usually very nice BTW). But have an overdue bill... whoa!

@Optus Thanks for replying Tigs, will do, I'm not so much mad about the money being taken out—mistakes happen. It's more that getting hold of someone was so difficult, hope you can help point me to a person who can sort this out!

Just received a spam email from “Support Desk” with an invoice attached amounting to $500 supposedly from EBAY. I blame @Optus for this BS! I’m unimpressed!

@ProfRayWills @iiNet We were with iiNet for 22 years Prof.Ray, but problems after Michael sold out, only got worse. NBN out by lightning, 2 years running, with month long repairs. Ret village of copper. Optus 5G Home in Wanneroo, for 2.5 years now. No complaints. Feel safer with cell towers.

@AussieSenpai @9NewsAUS Optus has control, you need to ring a number though. @Optus should be doing more, not having to require a customer to ring a number for a refund of Passport replacement.

4. Other than some fee raise restraint (on the back of endless CPI x 2 increases), really no effort on customer retention. Surprising. At least Optus did this - not well, but at least they did it.

@Optus you have been sending me those texts abt “improving speeds” for over 6 mos but my net is dropping out multiple times a day for weeks now. If you’re not capable of providing the service I pay for then you need to let me terminate the contract

2. Glib comms from Medicare. The “we’re here to help, but really we’re not, you’re on your own” is marginally better than the Optus “radio silence” response?
