@canberraseal @Telstra @Optus But if the customer actively follows up faults, poor service, missing modems etc - silence... or an automated ‘take a number’ response. Same applies when given a 4hr window to be at home for a tech (who are usually very nice BTW). But have an overdue bill... whoa!

@Optus Explain how a senior case manager can have such a poor understanding of your products? Your roaming doesn’t work, I can’t make outbound calls and your case managers would rather argue with me! Stop the modern day slavery and bring your operation back onshore as @telstra have

How absolutely garbage is @optus ? I went to activate the equifax credit monitoring subscription they provided, and the code isn’t valid, I am completely unsurprised.. so absolutely typical of the standard of garbage service this corporate junk pile gives its customers.

@optus have been giving me the run around for 2 1/4 hours so far as I try to find out if I will get my phone back after 3 weeks at repair, or if they can just cancel the contract and keep the phone. They keep asking me to tell them the codes that they are sending to the phone.

@optus has just transferred me to person number eight, another person who is too stupid to live. Giving up for the night, which is the whole point, I guess. ******* around for nearly four hours until I give up.

@Optus Yes, and I have confirmed, over 40 times, that you have the phone, it never worked, and you've had it for a month. Also, no, I cannot send you the code that you sent to the phone as you have the phone, and I will not pay $1,500 for a phone that does not work and I do not have.

So... after ten hours, @optus are now saying that if I pay $4,500 they might refund me the missing/broken phone, but I'll still be out of pocket $3,000. But I can pay that off in 3 x $500 monthly installments. Or maybe I'll just be in the hole for $4,500.
