Go digital they said. What that has got us? MyGov, Telstra, Optus hacked. Stolen identities, etc. This isn't even 1% the problem. Why keep pushing something that causes many problems & stress to everyday ppl? Tracing private citizens every move is the objective.

@JohnWinstHoward Ah, Optus must think I've still got my data roaming on? ****. Must follow up. Thanks

@blu_boys @Optus If you bank with commonwealth they have a deal with more. It uses the Telstra network, usually 25% off with an already well priced plan.

@aamir_ibrahim01 @JensenHuang Australia switched off its 3G network in 2024 and Jazz IR roaming stopped working in Australia. Community raised it many times with Jazz, to always receive standard replies, to no avail. Please liaise Singtel/Optus to restore Jazz IR in Australia.

4/5 Then September 2025: a 14-hour outage, 75% of Triple Zero calls failing, 4 people dead. Optus is now Australia's most distrusted brand. The coding error was the start, not the story.

@Zlunks @DavePaul__ @SBSNews Or it goes to a subscription service and you have to pay to watch. Remember when Optus shared the rights with SBS?

Everyone leaves Cursor for refactors. They lose the 3x speed. One founder shipped $12k MRR in nine days using only Cursor + Grok 4.6. Daily Workflow starts inside the file. Open the file inside Cursor. Feed the exact three-line Prompt Patterns straight to inline Grok. Rewrite only the current sentence before moving on. Most still paste stack traces into ChatGPT and kill the flow. That alone eats 30% of refactor time. Grok 4.6 beats Claude Optus on large refactors because you never exit the codebase. Counterintuitive tip: stay sentence-by-sentence instead of dumping the whole function. What slowed your last refactor most?

@diana_murphy613 Thankfully in Australia we have competition. I can get internet service from Telstra, TPG, Optus, Aussie Broadband and others.

@Optus The reason I ask is my account is now overdue by 8 days, I'm able to pay the bill in 2 days in full however when asking for help or letting optus know of concerns with overdue accounts and financial difficulties the automatic payment system set up on this account restricts the help i can ask for online

@ScorchersBBL Good player but incredibly unsuited to Optus so a poor signing imo
