    @ItsImogenGreene I've had the same issues but I'm with Telstra. I had no texts from Telstra customers and then 2 months later I had no texts from optus customers.

    @Slav636 @Optus @medibank Yeah, they totally dropped the ball on that. Not defending them, but a gazillion moving parts in a huge organisation, that there was an incident isn’t that surprising. The simplicity and the impact, *that’s* surprising!

    Day 2 of my @Optus saga. I just want to pay my bill. I can't use the app I'm shut out of. I can't use the link on the email without giving up more information to a system that is not working. UTTERLY RIDICULOUS.

    @savannahmeacham @9NewsAUS I just hope to god I don’t have to go into the local motor registry this weekend to get a new photo ID. Narrowly dodged the Optus breach as I haven’t been a customer with them for 2 yrs. Didn’t expect this to escalate but in cybersecurity anything can happen…

    Heart attack... it appears I may have lost my mobile number in the porting process, due to @optus terminating my service two days earlier than requested. On the phone trying to sort it out.

    @Optus @RunnerSA18 Also the causal way you notified customers who have had data taken is shameful an email saying ohh yep we deffo lost your data - you should be calling every customer impacted - not leaving the onus on customers to call to get equifax set up and plead for support

    He’s given it to the already very busy Attorney General. But before the election Albanese said: ‘cybersecurity needs to be someone’s day job, not the last item on another minister’s to-do list’. No wonder the govts response to Optus and Medibank has been so slow and inadequate

    @troyhunt @Optus @medibank Medibank CEO David Koczkar said: "I apologised and understand this latest distressing update will concern our customers....Our team has been working around the clock...." I feel for their customers, and the slow reaction from Medibank to get on the top of it.
