    @ItsImogenGreene I've had the same issues but I'm with Telstra. I had no texts from Telstra customers and then 2 months later I had no texts from optus customers.

    @RichardKGrump @Pamduckling @Optus Let's wait for the final assessment. From what I've read, there's a great deal of corporate compliance and downright foolish PII management that needs to be confirmed. Leaving an unauthenticated API was bad, but storing high risk data is potentially criminal

    @Optus @RunnerSA18 I haven’t been a customer of yours for years - so why am I included as a victim in this too? WHY HAVE YOU STILL HELD ONTO MY DATA WHEN I WAS NO LONGER A CUSTOMER?!?!

    @Shleeable @glengyron If a "team of thousands" were involved then Optus has FAR bigger problems. And the process you describe is ultra-waterfall. Which goes back to who's ultimately at fault here. How you maintain quality is TDD, CI/CD, and the right culture and agile mindset.

    @Optus @RunnerSA18 Absolutely appaled by your customer service team. You have upped my monthly bill without NO notification, leaked my details and your team cannot help??? NOT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I WAS EXPECTING especially this week!! So so poor

    @byronkaye If he/she/it is successful this time who is to say what he will demand from his victim. While he may have been trying to hamper Optus, what he actually did was make the average Australian have to face more problems, time and money. No sympathie he is nit Robin Hood

    @doctormcdougall @Optus I got this today too. Glad they are getting ahead of the game on this one. You can never be to quick to let people know when their personal info has been hacked, even when you aren't a customer and haven't been for 5 years or more.

    @Jeremy_Kirk Had an issue with my Optus account 5/6 months ago, the recharge section kept saying it was unsafe, wouldn't allow recharge. Makes me wonder how long the issue has been happening.

    @pixeltoofar @MatthewBevan Public ownership could never possibly compete with the inefficiency and corruption of the leadership of Qantas or Optus, and that's why they were made private. As a golden parachute and a graft off public handouts and disgustingly overblown CEO pay. The system you're defending.

    @Uberstooks @Optus Just been on their online help chat and they just go around on circles and don’t actually answer the question about what they’re doing to protect information or what they’ll offer customers to assist in this
