Why is it over a week since customer data has been in the hands of cybercriminals do we still not have a solution to replace passports at Optus expense. Ludicrous. Do the right thing by your customers, Optus. Or expect less in the future #OptusHack #OptusDataBreach #Optus

Having deception fraud happen to myself, I love how the government just blames Optus for the privacy breach rather than resolving the issue at hand. Yes they stuffed up,but shouldn’t you be more concerned about rectifying how easy it is to obtain the finance from it . #OptusHack

@nadinevoncohen Yep, got the same stupid letter today from Optus apologising for compromising my personal data. This organisation & other like it are nothing more than blood sucking leeches. The only reason the data was compromised because these leeches refuse to spend money on Data Security.

@stilgherrian From a personal perspective as an Optus customer I am less concerned about a few bits of (essentially public - now) information than the details of what I do with Optus

Re #Optus hack: it seems easy to order a new medicare card on line BUT: will it just be the same old card number with the same expiry date? Anyone know how we go about getting a new medicare card without just replicating the old details (which the hackers have)? @Optus help!!
