@ItsImogenGreene I've had the same issues but I'm with Telstra. I had no texts from Telstra customers and then 2 months later I had no texts from optus customers.

@Optus is my son getting a credit because he can’t work without it. He can’t contact me and turned up to check on me because the phones are out. I use the mobile for emergencies and if I fall or need assistance. Will there be #compensation for this outage?

Since February @Optus have been doing work on my local mobile tower to "bring faster network speeds and more reliable service..." The issue is, my phone barely works, I can't make calls if I am not on wifi. I just got an SMS saying they're doing MORE work.

Optus customers: an outage is currently experienced. Mainly mobile telephony is impacted but there were reports of NBN outages: so safe to assume Optus network will be unstable till resolved.

@morningshowon7 this Optus outage isn’t a 1 off thing, keeps happening week after week. If its not the phone lines its the internet! & expecting customers to contact optus by messages on their app is ridiculous! Not reaching our elderly parents week after week is crap service!

This is not the first time we experience issues optus on a daily basis keep getting updates we are working on the problem . Pretty sure they have a guy full time switching wires at the exchange
