@ItsImogenGreene I've had the same issues but I'm with Telstra. I had no texts from Telstra customers and then 2 months later I had no texts from optus customers.

@mausies @UpUpNulla Static IP is pretty standard. A bit crap service. I struggle especially because I understand how things work and being treated like a halfwit pisses me off I have fibre-optic cable from the Tele pole to my house for Optus for 20 yes NBN could not or would not use that cable

@optus sent the modem replacement (refurbished), still not working. @optus tech person said it should be fine with 1.5MB p/s!? We explained over 10 times, visited the shop 4 times, and spent prepaid cards over $200. Spent time phone and chat for over 8 hours. #TIO

@hadricus @Telstra Probably need to check coverage maps for where you commute. In SA it’s Telstra > Optus > Voda generally. You can also use Telstra network with other providers etc.

@somewherein84 7 years with TPG mobile and NBN not one issue Telstra and Optus are rubbish.

@Optus experiencing < 1MBPS mobile broadband for the 3rd time this month. Can’t get the outage map to load to see if there’s a network issue and have driven to telstra reception to get help. What’s the number I should call?

So @Optus are increasing the price of our NBN internet, even though they’ve never been able to provide internet at the speed of the tier they sold me. What internet provider you with??? I’m after an unlimited plan.
