  @ItsImogenGreene I've had the same issues but I'm with Telstra. I had no texts from Telstra customers and then 2 months later I had no texts from optus customers.

  @optus_support Hey Optus support I am in a big pickle in France and I have my phone account w u. My phone had a swim and has been dead for a week. Tech in Nice says will never restart. I have a new phone and I need to reactivate my Optus account to upload my Samsung and Google data. But yoh can't connect to a support person in Aust unless u register on the app which demands a phone text to verify!!!! Aghhhhh. I only have internet and no access to Whats App or any of the accounts. Can someone DM to help please

  @FranMooMoo I’m in. Telstra and Optus have had the market monopoly for too long and wtf do we get for it? Excellent coverage in the Gold Coast and absolutely woeful phone reception in the entire rest of the country. Starlink will level the playing field nationwide.

  @Telstra @Telstra24x7 @Optus Dakabin qld 4503 has no network in 4g/5g. Options available to deploy site near woolworths, dakabin hotel or opp dump area. Appreciate if you address concerns in Dakabin.

  @FranMooMoo I wonder if his satellites can be used for mobile phone network? Mobile phone calls and text messages don't use much bandwidth unlike the internet, if he were to somehow make phones and they worked everywhere even in the desert Telstra Vodaphone, and Optus would go bust

  Update 5. Annnddd we're done. "Glad we've been able to help you. This case is now resolved" So, if you are hearing impaired you are not welcome at Optus ... they will only help you if you can speak on the phone. Disgraceful in this day and age @Optus. @Vodafone, here I come!

  I just received a txt from @Optus saying they are upgrading the network and I may experience some disruption. Given the @Telstra outage, they should really reconsider this.

  @Teh_Jkr @Optus Prepaid is the best option. No more need for greedy companies like Optus! One of the worst employers around after Telstra!

  With Optus - national outage, price hikes ($45-60 monthly) and spotty, unexplained 4G and 5G city coverage. Decide to jump to Telstra. With Telstra - national outage... Yep.
