    Optus 4G has been rubbish all afternoon. Not completely broken, just bad. I presume it’s DNS somehow.

    @mdtlion She sounds more like a Telstra public relations officer, than the Communications Minister. Maybe she’s grifting for a future job with them. I noticed the little dig she made at Optus by mentioning a previous issue they had had in the past, but totally relevant to today’s issues.

    @chrissmithonair @optus_support Good luck mate. Optus support is useless. Took me 6 weeks to link internet and mobile account from here in Australia

    @Telstra Telstra Doncaster failed and refused to help, I'll be lodging a complaint with the ombudsman in due course, duly note the outcome, you lost two decades long people to Optus, who were terrific in help.

    @HaveeSnowball Actually, the infrastructure and technical side is still handled locally, only the CS is off-shored, but if you looked at the Optus situation involving the numerous problems caused by Singtel, you'd know Telstra is in a much better position to deal with these problems.

    @JH_Otway_Ranges @FranMooMoo Hanlon’s Razor or whatever razor that states never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity. Optus staff literally left a URL public that was supposed to be private and someone stumbled on it.

    If you only have one SIM it sucks to be you. I have 4. Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and a French SIM from Free. So I’m never without service.

    After signing up with the @Optus deal through flybuys on May 25 I was told there was a technical error on their side, and that they couldn't process my order until July 1? I have never had a more incompetent, pathetic and disgraceful experience.

    @Starlink And while Optus and Vodafone service this area - proving how much Telstra really sucks - they both lose signal only several kilometers further out of the CBD, meaning that they also suck. These are the only three networks here. All other carriers buy access from these three.
