@NBN_Australia @Optus internet down all day. Network outage under investigation. So much productivity lost but no one cares. Happens too often. Australia is one of the worst countries for internet speed thanks to monopoly of one wholeseller. Pathetic service to have outage

@optus is the internet down in Kingsgrove area- postcode 2208, unable to communicate via app as no responses. System doesn’t show outage. Mobile coverage in area just as bad.

@Skullnose @Optus I have, but it’s a nightmare trying to converse with a call centre worker who is doing their best to get you off the service. I’ve had a fraudulent transaction against my bank account and I’m getting nowhere

@Optus Bexley area NSW i have no internet or land line working, i would like to know if this is happening in my area not just me- I can’t get through to anyone nor can I use the app- it’s way too slow

@rhythbuster I've been on hold with Optus for over 90 minutes and I think their tech support finishes at 8. The outage is reported on NBN's and Telstra's sites but not on Optus' and I can't get an ETA for a fix. How long was yours out?

we had crazy rain and lightning twice in last 4 months. and both times the home internet from @Optus collapsed. first time modem was fried. now just local outage. ~ 1.5 years ago in cairns, strong rain - town went dark. whats up with our infrastructure in Australia? #auspol?
