@TheTodayShow I complained to Optus not only because of the spams, their **** service. I WAS NOT called at all about this breach!!!! I had to call them only to find I have been comprised!!!!! I told them I’m not paying my bill!!! I’M DISGUSTED! OPTUS SUCK!!!

  • DavidGallard2 David Gallard (@DavidGallard2) reported

@mjrowland68 I would like to a) hear Optus accept responsibility for the customer data that they collected, no matter how sophisticated the attack it was still up to them to protect it b) advise all customers if they were or were not affected and to what extent - don't leave us guessing

  • ashulz ashul (@ashulz) reported

@Bergha2 Interesting. I've been an optus customer for many years '98- 2008 but not on the list so far. I am just saying it's uncertainty created by that 2014 bill.

  • SwoopLuke Swoop Luke (@SwoopLuke) reported

surely this optus hack can be grounds to terminate your contract without having to pay anything. why should i keep paying a premium account if it’s not safe? accc would be onto this, you’d think

  • drcarrot98 Rose Roberts (@drcarrot98) reported

@AnnastaciaMP @TMRQld What are you doing to proactively help Queenslanders who have had their drivers licence number compromised in the @Optus data breach. You know it’s happened so sitting back and waiting for fraud to occur is not good enough. #OptusDataBreach

@ClareONeilMP I'm hearing a few worrying stories on Facebook from people who have contacted their bank & having problems already. Would it be a good idea to meet up with banks & sort out a plan to deal with this? Luckily I've never been with Optus, but many are now very very worried.

@newscomauHQ Can't help but spot the irony of when facebook was hacked & data leaked SEVERAL times in some cases, identical data leaked as now w/ Optus - the outrage was almost non-existent. Data released of more than 10x this one. I'd bet some of those are more than likely STILL on facebook
