@Optus Unfortunately on messaging they said they can’t help as there is an open case no. I have no idea what this is as I didn’t report anything. I have had the NBN for only a couple of weeks. The phone light is out on modem and other lights on I have no idea on. I’m not technical.

@Optus Hey, because your support staff won't answer me on your support lines. How long is my mobile phone number reserved after I cancel my account? Should I wait until my account at my new mobile provider is set up and sim delivered or can I cancel now and keep my number?

Hi @Optus I am abroad in U.K. till December and my service has been disconnected to protect me from a “bill shock”. I urgently need this reconnected as I can’t receive sms codes to log into my mygov to access covid vaccination certificate to return home!

@domknight @Optus Dom, I had the same issue when I wanted to add a data SIM at an Optus store but when I declined and rang them to complain it wasn't a problem to add one and data share. Seems sometimes the left hand isn't talking to the right.

When people say @Optus is good but they never came back to sort out our internet (which we haven’t had for a month!!!) and we’ve been calling multiple times so we’re moving over to @VodafoneAU
