    @GayCarBoys I detest Optus, are you with it? Customers had so much of their personal details stolen. Time to secure everything, banks, email, passport numbers and more. I got ripped off from my bank last week, $700+ stolen from my transaction a/c, spent in Canada. I’m waiting for resolution.

    @nobby15 Well Optus let's see about indemnity for Identity Fraud. Note some data including passwords was not compromised so clearly it was targeted bad actor

    @Dempsey57Jackie The fact is, it doesnt matter how many passwords, telephone numbers you change it will not stop ID theft. This is a major problem, its more than an inconvenience. I note it took Optus some six or seven hours to make a public statement. Not good enough.

    My goodness @Optus ... Your call centre does not know a thing about this data breach. I have one service with you and the first I heard was on the news. So far, I've received nothing. No SMS, no email.

    Hey @Optus data breach from piss-poor password protocols. Only 15-character passwords are allowed on accounts, that's crazy in this day and age.
