Like many people I can hop on the bandwagon & criticise the telcos when the service is poor, so need to flag when its good. Thanks @optus & @NBN_Australia, the NBN went down Friday night. This morning NBN technician came, all fixed. Great service. Kudos to all concerned.

@JudkinsSimon Optus can top that. Promised my phone broadband (b4 NBN came late LAST YEAR) next day, but the package was labelled "must be delivered before 12:00pm" and the van for this area always left at 11:00 so 3 days I waited...WTF? It wasn't milk for heavens sake.

How are poor people supposed to watch sport these days? Kayo: $25 p/month Optus: $15 p/month Stan: $30 p/month (rip off) You can't be what you can't see. How are kids from lower socio-economic backgrounds supposed to aim for greatness? #auspol

There is no requirement for an eSIM to be "downloaded" via an app - they could provide the same data on a web page and I'd be up and running already (although my Optus service is still active, so no?)
