@TimjboAU I will be more than interested if this has been issues related to routers in call centres, and what was the country of origin, I did recommend long ago to Optus the reasoning for not using a certain China Telco provider. I wonder if history has repeated?

Is #Optus NT #Darwin experiencing connectivity issues last few days ?

Let’s forget the umpiring, taunting and constant booing of this underrated crowd, what’s the go with this Optus stadium deck, the worst ground in the AFL currently, on par with what was dished up for origin last night. Awful. #aflfreoswans

@Kate3015 Aussies are being fleeced, these comms companies compared to everywhere else in the world take Aussies to the cleaners. For the entire network to fail would suggest a complete & utter rebuild of Telstra is required urgently, from the very top down. #Telstra #Auspol #Optus

@HaveeSnowball @JanSummersalt Only way to get customer service from Telstra is go to store or port your number to another company. They use ai bot systems that circle jerk you and waste your time. It's a joke. Same with Optus.

@Democracy_Duck @ABCmediawatch Are you suggesting giving the network back to public ownership? To an organisation like NBN where rejects from Telstra & Optus go to work? (Including Telstra's so-called risk management 'experts' BTW) With ACMA keeping an eye on things?

@MickamiousG @Starlink When starlink finally get their mobile plans into Australia Telstra will be done within 2 years...one of Vodafone and Optus will survive as a budget telco, but people won't be paying Telstra prices for dogshit service

@thmsenglsh i used to work at telstra and we had even more data breaches and outages than optus did but telstras like besties with every australian media outlet and funds alot of their services so everyone just bags on optus instead, telstra genuinely sucks

@Kate3015 Long ago I recommended to Optus the reasons they should not consider Huawei, I had a techo team from Huawei walk me through how they would treat the Data Centres and the router installations, they insisted only Huawei techo engineers would install them, it was open to anybody dialing in and accessing, so it was a big no. This smells the same, very much so.

@PaulBongiorno Oh woe is me ! Just purchase a sim card supported by Optus [this is redundancy contingency] when Telstra goes off line swap out their sim & slot in the backup & vice versa. Alteratively purchase a dual sim phone which allows you to switch between service providers
