Raymond McKeown (@RaymondKeown3) reported@Kate3015 Long ago I recommended to Optus the reasons they should not consider Huawei, I had a techo team from Huawei walk me through how they would treat the Data Centres and the router installations, they insisted only Huawei techo engineers would install them, it was open to anybody dialing in and accessing, so it was a big no. This smells the same, very much so.

Flarestar (@Druagamaniac) reported@FranMooMoo i'll admit to not knowing much about how they work but will elons service be piggybacking off telstra/optus hardware like most 3rd party internet isps with broadband or will it be his own towers/whatever

Red Planet Vibe (@RedPlanetVibe) reported@13arm13arm @TeslaAUNZ We had connectivity. No issues. I think we have Optus LTE in both our Teslas.

Huey ππππ¦ (@EagleHuey) reported@bdosi72 What he stood up for canβt be argued but Iβm glad the WA government is removing that statue of him at Optus that should of never been put up in the first place. He never played for either club and I hope they replace it with the great Dennis Cometti

Snuffles πΈ (@Snuffle16106950) reported@robertveneziano @VoteLewko Incorrect ARTC handles Standard Gauge in AUS... Whist @VicTrack_Vic handles Broad gauge in VIC. But all should not rely on only one telco provider...the ICE radio are linked to Telstra! But optus has gone down too 2 years ago with the same result!

TRPoint.pics π³οΈβπ (@thatfancypear) reportedYou will hear this more and more... Australia needs another mobile network operator, this will head into a colesworth situation and everyone will suffer.... Wholesaling isn't an option anymore because Telstra and Optus game the system Mark my words, Telop

πΈπππͺ π (@m28_andy) reported@HaveeSnowball @JanSummersalt Only way to get customer service from Telstra is go to store or port your number to another company. They use ai bot systems that circle jerk you and waste your time. It's a joke. Same with Optus.

Dacian (@DevDacian) reportedGLM is a lot less "forgiving" than Opus/GPT; use these techniques in your long workflows to avoid many GLM errors: 1β£ incremental output - don't output at the end, make your agents output incrementally while working 2β£ checkpoint writes - glm agents can timeout very easily during reasoning phases, so have them output checkpoints to prevent this 3β£ tighten prompts - glm seems a lot dumber than opus/gpt at figuring out what the correct action is, so tighten up your prompts to remove any ambiguity 4β£ negative & positive enforcement - opus/gpt generally do the right thing if given the reasons why that is the right thing to do, but glm benefits from explicitly being told what to not do since it loves to misbehave 5β£ tolerate output variance - glm is worse at outputting correct formats. Tighten up output specification prompts but also consider tolerating greater output variance & using deterministic output cleanup to format things correctly 6β£ verify outputs, auto retry - glm can return seemingly "successful" but without writing any outputs, it can return weird tooling info in its outputs, there are lots fo weird things that can happen. Ensure to check the outputs for correctness, diagnose the cause of failures & have automated system in place to re-try failed spawns using prompts which instruct the retried agent to correct the errors Perhaps I've just been spoiled by Optus/Gpt but GLM feels quite "rough around the edges" in comparison.

Imagine that (@ManaImagine) reported@MickamiousG @Starlink I got Optus net and have had no problems at all.

eddy (@multithreddy) reported@oscarcsims @haydenmalc maybe it'll happen soon since outsourcing RAN management to cheaper vendors is all the rage in the telecom space right now (Spark just outsourced to Nokia, who was the vendor who was partially responsible for the last Optus 000 outage)
