@Optus Hi Aman, I appreciate that but I was told that before when I was promised multiple phone calls that never eventuated. Never mind the FTTN service we are getting drops out constantly and isn’t as reliable as the previous DSL service at my old address.

If the .@Optus network wasn’t so bad and .@VodafoneAU wasn’t ridiculously panicked as to whether I can pay (because they made it clear they think I don’t make enough money), I’d be looking for a better network.

Iron Chef AUS (@MarkPAllen2) reported
@mjrowland68 Optus is only a single problem in a single legislation that forced telcos to gather and keep such data. It was always going to be targeted by hackers.

@flipzwidling ALSO suggests lone wolf operation. Syndicates have to carve up ransom amongst group dynamic. Hacker couldnt believe quantity of data downloaded! How POOR were #OPTUS cyber protections? THIS, they must never forget. Treated us like fodder. Have zero doubt re how we’re regarded😡

>Sign in to the Optus app with two-factor authentication >Wait a few hours for LiveChat to respond >Request confirmation of which ID documents were involved in the Optus leak >"Sorry but you have to come into one of our physical stores to confirm this info." FFS

Peter Kakolyris (@PeteKax) reported
@Jeremy_Kirk If I was the Optus CEO I'd happily pay $50 mill to make this problem "disappear". That's small change in comparison to what it will cost Optus to rebuild brand and trust.

Ana Lara (@alaralopez) reported
@Optus @RunnerSA18 tried to call the number in the email where I am notified I am one of those affected, connected to a call centre overseas instead of a supposed expert, and was the worst service I have ever had, hanged up as this was useless. Seems it is on us customers to figure things out

@kerryjcom @Optus Yes, I had planned on spending my time on work too, however…. I don’t know when my husband, who is a doctor, is going to find time to do this either. I guess there will be the class action to come. What a **** show.
