Lachlan Kingsford (@thelochok) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus There's a big old blackspot in Bundoora, between University Hill and the ring road. It's been there months, and it's not my phone (although your support _helpfully_ insisted it was). Can it be fixed please?

@infinitereality @stirlo Legit will take @SingtelSupport to court; for all this stress. But that would be way more stressful I think will just probably get a real network easy man just get rid of Optus honestly that is that bad it’s not worth it the amount of pain they cause? is not worth $1000/Day.

So apparently Optus are not the bad guys in my story! My kids have not been connecting to wifi so have only been using phone data, meanwhile nearly 600GB is sitting there virtually untouched. Sorry Optus, I am a tripper but I will keep y’all in check still.

J (@____0_OO_0____) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus The link again said you're working on a mobile tower in the area I suspect that's the same issue. Will see how it is tomorrow.

WhatWouldErykahDo? (@angelgabe6) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Kelly696_ @Optus I’m going to check them out. I’m never late with my bills but after this one, I’m exploring my options!
-
Mick (@mikjcal) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@BelongAU @nathan1ittle Yeah it wasn’t available 😢. But I opened up a service ticket after activation. So hoping the ticket can fix it. It’s for my partners service as he moved from Optus to Belong. Also, signup was so quick! Number is already ported, which I didn’t think happened on sundays 👍

Pez (@Pezzamystic1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@AFoxApc @Optus Optus got back to me via DM and said they’re aware of the issue on Samsung TVs and looking to fix the issue.
-
WhatWouldErykahDo? (@angelgabe6) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
The ******* nerve of @Optus sending me an offer for unlimited data on 5G knowing full well neither that service or the ******* NBN are available in my area, this after they sent me a bill for wifi totalling $921.34 for one ****** up month. Don’t make out now ya rip off *****.

Mit Lenoroc (@Tim_Coronel) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@David_Bonnici @BridieEV Luckily my partner’s mobile is on Optus (mine is Telstra) and she managed to get a signal so her permit was viewable
-
Chris Jones (@cpjones44) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@darrenbennett76 @Telstra I switched to Telstra after being with Optus for years thinking I’d be right with “best 4G network”. I had calls drop out in CBD, no reception at the back of my house in Heathmont. Telstra support were hopeless. After two weeks I moved Vodafone and have never looked back 1/2

WhatWouldErykahDo? (@angelgabe6) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
So Optus sent my bill. My bill has jumped from $250 per month give or take $50, to next months bill of over $900. How ******** Optus?
-
Lachlan Kingsford (@thelochok) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus @jdkingsford is the account holder. Incidentally, he also has issues there - which (plus my multiple devices) should be a pretty huge hint that it's not my device. Is it the account holder who needs to talk to you?
-
𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚛𝚕𝚘.𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚌𝚎 (@stirlospace) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@BorisOsery @gomoau Optus is so bad that in the past week it nearly caused 3 misunderstandings/ fights and at least one accusation of “making it up” re Optus not actually having any real internet. Bastards said they’d fix the next at least 10 years ++ I left in 07 it’s great. 🔋 and actual Signal
-
NextLevel Bloodstock (@nextlevelbstock) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Optus what the hell is going on with the internet outage in Brighton??? 4 Days!!! It would be ok if I could get mobile reception to hot spot but unfortunately I’m with Optus so that’s no good either because your coverage at my house is garbage. 😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

-
Nick Adams (@Narkov) reported
@BLShiv @Smushster @Jeremy_Kirk Rubbish. This is in no way deliberate. It's clearly a bug. Optus would not have wanted this and this is evidenced by the API being taken down.
-
BobbyB (@BediBobby01) reported
how can we trust big giant telco like @Optus ? It’s 2022 and they can’t handle customer’s data ???? Wtf 🤬

🌻🌻spacekat9 A.K.A Nicole (@cooten9009) reported
@TorSamundsett @Optus I've begun the slow transition to new everything. @optus you have my bank details to deposit the money to pay for the new passport I have to get due to your management/systems failure

My goodness, Optus had poor security.
-
Eric Banana (@Banana16Eric) reported
@ZiptieZoe @NinetyF85719218 @agarner No. Not in my experience. Good companies and I mean Blue Chip follow process and procedure because they know the damage it can cause. Like this debacle from Optus. The Management from the top down needs to be replaced and introduce a new work ethic.
-
Stuart Tomlinson (@virgotweet) reported
I have had a lot of broken sleep since it was revealed that Optus had a cyber attack and that all their customers details were now in the hands of the hackers.
-
🇦🇺 Katie 🥂 (@ktdenise) reported
Optus are gunna **** us aren't they?
-
Ryan (@ExiledVictorian) reported
@LysticsAFL @VicRoads Honestly I'd even be prepared to pay for this service for this peace of mind (though really Optus should be fitting the bill)
-
Jeremy (@jez99) reported
@ZucchiniBikini And not only that, I am feeling a bit violated too. Not sure if I should switch providers as protest, have been a loyal Optus customer for years.
