@RonniSalt @Optus I'm fascinated that every time Corporations are found out, the role of explaining it to the press is given to a woman. The trend has been there since James Hardy. What is that? Soften up the bad look?

@ClareONeilMP FFS, why was/is @Optus @kbrspace collecting *Medicare* (health) numbers? This **** can only happen because of the laws the Aust. govt does or does not make.

If Optus had paid the 1.5 and in the interim followed the money trail, this massive breach would never have occurred. But gladbag wanted to give it to Daryl

@kbrspace What are Optus doing to ensure that phone numbers aren't inadvertently ported to other providers by hackers using breached data to take advantage of number portability? Our phone numbers form the basis of 2FA and loss of access to our mobile numbers would be VERY BAD.

@roromassa15 @ClareONeilMP Good enough is being super polite. It’s f*king despicable and yet they have no issues in an automated payment reminder. Pathetic @Optus

@PJW719 @noplaceforsheep I want Optus to pay too - I want them to pay for 12m equifax for all affected customers. I want them to give everyone at least 3 months free service, just to compensate for short term change of passwords and 2fa arrangements. And a pool for compensation for any ID theft victims.
