b (@_benny4) reported@chdyctt I cancelled a contract with Optus 10 years ago due to their relocated contact centre. Was awful, but Telstra ended being cheaper believe it or not. In saying that, communications need to be explained easy & not written by AI and signed off.

C’hristo (@Baradine1566) reported@JT3228440527570 Can we organise another Optus outage please, Telstra don't be shy you can join too.

Ky Broome (@KyBroome35) reportedFurther update, Mum was just on the phone with Optus and apparently Optus (an internet provider) isn’t able to call NBN to fix this, they can only text message them. Or at least that’s the line they are spitting out about the network degradations DO YOUR JOB!!!
-
Bardy Bigglesworth (@BardyBiggles) reported@VibewireCentral What is the business case for 6G? Can we get rid of our non services and only run on the radio network? @Optus

yjb (@Sark64754Farhan) reported@aravint_2107 Yes for WOR optus is the ideal pitch It will hide his weakness of giving width and elevate his strength Only ground where giving width is not a problem His test will be the other grounds
-
Brendan Kelly (@brendan_kelly9) reported@nicko_316 Thats bad news for Brizvegas if you’re right. Freo will be favourites in that match up at Optus.
-
Wilma Domjan (@wilma_domjan) reported@keating01 Isn’t OPTUS & Telstra’s outage breakdown a strong reason NOT TO go digital on everything under one system of Government control? How many different services went out - not just 000? Can’t bank, buy petrol, grocery, use your card! EVEN WORSE is if we have a power supply outage!

Evans Electric (@tsport100) reportedA guy moved into a new apartment. Only “official” internet was FTTN NBN — $90/month for a pathetic 30 Mbps down max. He called Telstra and Optus. Both said “5G Fixed Wireless not available at your address.” He checked a cell tower map anyway. Half a dozen towers within a couple km. Bought a GL.iNet GL-X3000NR 5G router + built a DIY 4x4 MIMO LPDA external antenna. Result? 800 Mbps download / 170 Mbps upload. 25x faster. $75/month. Same building. Here’s exactly how he did it 🧵
