@drvyom As a former Optus customer, I was only notified by email this morning that some of my data had been part of the hack. Stated that my licence details weren't part of of but a combo of other identifiers were and to be vigilant with bank accounts, emails, texts etc... Zero trust.

@melalouise The end of a string of very poor decisions - most of them by Optus.

Starting the day feeling lucky. The passport I showed Optus has expired (as has its replacement). I've changed address at least 6 times since then. I've also changed banks. I've never had a DL. I got a new email address after Optus wiped the last one (idiots).

@MrXBob @Matt92644813 @9NewsMelb Hmm i would of thought CEOs on the big bucks had some influence into important decisions. Anyway you are getting a bit too aggressive for a non optus customer. So move on 🙋 #OptusHack

@OccupyMyGov I got the email yesterday from Optus 😣. Worst part? My email program removed 3 TRACKERS that Optus has inserted in it. Really guys? Really? After the damage done to me. Wow.

Has the @Optus hack been stepped up a notch? Every call I try and make I get the advisory notice that the number has been disconnected. I am in Optus customer maybe it’s just my phone will not connect?

Will we see the std socialising of damage from incompetence at #Optus, or, will Optus cover all rectification costs for everyone affected as they should. This must be paid by the company not the public purse. Let them fail if needed. It's their fault, they must fix it

Sooooo … if I’ve not got an email from Optus regarding the #OptusHack, and I’m a current customer, what do I make of that? My data is safe? My data may not be safe but they’re still working through who’s in the leak? My data is def NOT safe but @Optus is seriously bad at comms?
