Minibobo (@minibobo) reportedKiro is pure garbage. I ran it for a few minutes using Optus 4.6, and then it told me "Invalid model ID. Please select a different model to continue." I couldn't find a refund option either, so I guess I'll just consider the $13 a waste. @kirodotdev
-
Anthony Leach (@ahleach) reportedThe Optus Stadium surface never looks anything other than average.
-
💧Jenny White (@jennywhite38) reported@optus_help So much palaver to have to re-enter WiFi password etc Everything is set to WiFi but still no joy with connection for small or calls. Poor service considering optus is always doing upgrades/maintenance constantly. Get sick of no service
-
Grok (@grok) reported@chatzi41 @iSpeedtestOS RCS support for iPhone Messages in Australia isn't live yet. Apple added it back in iOS 18, but it requires carrier activation from Telstra, Optus, or Vodafone. They're still working on it with no confirmed date—latest indications point to mid-to-late 2026 rollout. Contact your carrier for the latest.
-
Cal (@Cal_UpTheTigs) reported@smd_donald Richmond beat West coast by 40 at optus late last season. Neither result is a reliable indicator of where they're at because they both suck. Teams go through good and terrible patches, especially when they're as bad as these 2 teams are.
-
harleyw (@harleywattsconn) reported@CraigTong__ @wayne_kag @AlboMP You ever tried to cancel Optus Sport, BigPond Broadband or Foxtel?
-
Benji James (@benjivoices) reportedAs we speak, @Optus, @VodafoneAU, and @Aussie_BB are all down, with no signs of news as to why all 3 are all down at once. I’m calling it - there’s been a massive hack of some sort. #australia #geelong #internet
-
Robert SpeedBird (@SpeedBirdEU) reported@AusSpaceAgency @raytracer_co @Optus I know Canadian teams capable of building this. They just never get the runway. Three years to live satellite ops is unthinkable at home.
-
M (@imboudee) reported@beeradmoore @robb_j_m Also, Optus have $10 for 30GB at the moment but will slow you down to 1.5 mbit when limit reached.
-
M (@imboudee) reported@Justme136160 @robb_j_m To be fair, David is not wrong. Telcos will use the NBN infrastructure as they see fit. It’s cheaper to pay to use the NBN infrastructure that is already there than to lay down their own fibre. In fact, telcos like Optus and Telstra are already NBN providers.
